Holiday rentals with a kayak in Regional Municipality of Durham

We enjoyed the stay. Everything was great! Just a couple of minor things I want to bring to the notice of the management: 1)Trash from earlier occupant was not cleared. 2) Dishes had food from earlier usage stuck to them. Other than the two minor glitches, everything was excellent.

We came up for a concert for the night and it was a great experience. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful perk and very well maintained and nice. The house is beautiful and spacious. Miles was extremely accommodating, we needed to get there a little early to help with making the concert on time and it was no problem at all. He worked with us and when there was an issue with the internet. he came and fixed it in person. The location is killer too! I strongly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful experience in every way!

We had a very quick stay but the place was so cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

The hosts Candace & Mark were so kind, responsive and considerate. We really appreciate their efforts to prepare the house in top shape even after there was a storm in the area. The house was spotless clean. Evrything in it was just perfect for our stay. I would like to highlight what we love the most. 1. Our family love to cook and evrything is in the kitchen. All utentils, kitchen needs and cooking stuff is completely available to use. 2. If you love netfix and movie nights, their home system is theater like atmosphere. Not to mention the very comfy couch and also easy to connect with Spotify for some surround music. 3. The outdoors were so private and you have exclusive access to the lake, and do kayaking. You could also do a lot of activities in the yard, it is so nice for badminton and some group games. I highly recommend this place. i have been to other airbnb's but this one top it for cleanliness, comfort and overall experience. 😊🙏

Matthew’s place is so beautiful. Our favourite part about it was the hot tub at night time! He has the cutest set up for a romantic getaway. His place was very private and made us feel like we had the entire house to ourselves. Thank you Matthew for an amazing experience and the most relaxing weekend that we’ve had in a while.

Great hospitality, a lot of fun activities available, and super accommodating. We are very grateful for the magical dishwasher and had an amazing time!

The place was super amazing, well maintained with beautiful surroundings, nice amenities, a football field just opposite the property. Really worth spending time with friends & family. Would definitely love to go back again and will for sure recommend it to others.

We stayed at Sahar’s cottage for a family weekend and it was great. The place was clean and had a lot to do. The lake is beautiful and the cottage is nice and private. The pool table was a hit and the projector was my son’s favourite thing. Overall a great place!

Loved spending family day weekend here, in the middle of a big snowstorm. We were cozy and warm inside the house, and also had so much fun building forts and playing in the snow on the frozen lake, and were invited by friendly neighbours to join them in other snowy fun. House had everything we needed, was plenty of room for our four adults and four kids (and would feel much bigger in summer when decks aren’t covered in snow!). Good communication, great beds that felt like a hotel, and just all around positive experience. Would def recommend.

Wow! I cannot say enough for Liona. Our reservation for our family Christmas was cancelled at the last minute and we found Liona’s beautiful cottage. Had a lovely stay here with a couple girlfriends. The decor was very cute and the property was peaceful. It was just what we needed and we really enjoyed our time. The sauna was a nice touch and we cold plunged in the lake. The neighbours are very friendly. Would stay here again.

Great location at the north end of Scugog Island. Walking trails at the end of the street about 100 meters away were great for walking dogs and exploring. Beautiful lakefront views in well appointed AirBnb. All the amenities you would need and more. We had a family gathering, and were able to fully function and cook and enjoy the space. Coffee provider with Keurig, tea and sugar and cooking oil. All the little things you need but are often missing from AirBnb rentals. The house was well laid out and people could enjoy the downstairs area where we did some crafts and played Foosball. Would be even more amazing in the summer with the large deck that wraps around the house. Very nice spot. Feels like a home not an AirBnb sterile empty unit.

Rented this place with a group of friends and had an amazing time! This place is super spacious and has everything you could need - lots of towels, linens, kitchen appliances/dish ware, games and more! The layout is perfect if you are going with a family or group. The boathouse is amazing with fantastic views. Aime was a fantastic host! Super responsive and very helpful. Would totally recommend this place and would absolutely book again!

Wonderful cottage with a beautiful view of the lake and a big yard with lots of privacy. Amenities are great and as described, the patio is very nice to lounge on and the fireplace is a nice touch for the evenings. The beds are super comfy, wifi is great, living room has a nice tv, bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, and everything was super clean on our arrival. Most importantly, Shana was a terrific host, always quick to respond and answer any questions, and super accommodating with everything. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

thank you Richard for the wonderful vacation!! the place was exactly as described and Richard gave us great direction since Google maps doesn't do the best job. the property was huge, plenty of amenities. the peddle boat was missing plugs so we grabbed some from in town and left them for the next guest.

My friends and I had an excellent time at Sasha's cottage. It was exactly as described, and perfect for our needs. We loved the lake access and had a great time on the giant floaty. There was lots of space for us to spread out, and lots for us to do. Highly recommend!!

This was our second time here. The place had some great renovations since we came last. The kitchen is very well stalked. Spacious common areas and a lovely meshed in seating area that views the water. Gorgeous sunrise. George is a great host who is super responsive when any needs arise. Great hikes nearby. Looking forward to returning.

Great cottage with so much to do!

A great escape from city life. So peaceful and private. All the fun of camping with the bonus of the lovely cabins. So much wildlife around and the beautiful nature. Brain was very friendly and checked in to make sure everything was good. A perfect last summer weekend getaway!
