We had a wonderful stay at the Photographer’s House! The home was well equipped, especially the kitchen, it had everything we needed to feel right at home. The beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated the lovely welcome basket, thank you. The view is stunning! We spent hours on the patio, soaking up the sunshine and taking it all in. The host, Ashley, was friendly and communicated clearly throughout, making everything smooth and stress-free. We’d love to come back again!

stayed here for 4 days with our puppy. a lovely house, 2 great sized bedrooms, all mod cons. 5 ins walk from restaurants and bars in town but on a quiet culture de sac. 5 mins walk from king george v playing fields so happy dog 🐕. had great trips to whitby, saltburn on sea.

Great property in a good location which is close to shops etc, but quiet enough to escape the high street. Has everything you will need for a comfortable stay along with great communication from the owner 👍

Very helpful host and property was ideal for our requirements

Beautiful property in a perfect location. The beach is accessible via steps right across the road from the property. The views were sublime and we sat in the window seat or on the front veranda of an evening rather than watch TV. We had everything we needed and there was a good sized Sainsbury's at the end of the road. The parking space was right outside the back door. We were travelling with three kids under 10 and they were very happy with the range of toys and games, plus there were lots of kids books in the smallest bedroom. The decor was well thought out with lovely touches everywhere that made us smile. We will definitely return to this fab, cheerful house.

We had a lovely time staying in Sophie's beautiful home in Staithes - the location was perfect for us, easy to find and very quiet and peaceful (apart from the seagulls, but they had chicks which we loved spotting so they are forgiven!) Everything was as described in the listing, the house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a great week. Thank you, we can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Beachcomber. The house was beautiful - so much space, decorated well and warm. We were so grateful for all the children's toys and books and the thoughtful touches Ray and Julie have made to make this the perfect stay for families. The location is amazing, so close to the stunning Marske beach and provides easy access to some great areas of interest, like Saltburn. We very much enjoyed finding fossils on the beach. We would love to come back again in future!

Spent a lovely week in Elizabeth's house. Great spot, very close to the beach and within easy reach of tourist areas. House was very clean ans tidy, in a quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. Captains Deck is a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with lovely views. the location is perfect for the beach and restaurants. weanaged to park outside the apartment. Beds were comfortable, everything you needed in the kitchen. Beautiful place to stay. the only negative is that we couldn't open the windows in the main bedroom as was crewed shut so this lead to a very uncomfortable hot 2 nights with no air in the room. Peter is very good at communicating and replied to all my messages straight away. Myself and my family loved out weekend away there and would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic place to stay, great location has everything you need and more. The only thing I would say is the main door downstairs to get in is quite tricky the key needs to be wiggled quite a bit to get it to open. A hard turn to the left gets it working once you know how. We loved our stay the home is gorgeous inside and couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We are already looking at dates to book to come back in a few months time

Stayed here for a night with some friends for a birthday get together.. we all had a fab time and couldn’t believe how amazing the place was inside, even more amazing in person than the pictures! So much detail and space, almost feels magical I don’t think you could have the same experience in a regular hotel or home. So much effort has been made to make the place enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn’t thank Jennifer and Brian enough for welcoming us and being so friendly and helpful, overall great experience we had a fab time! We will be back Thankyou again xxx

My wife and I had an amazing 2 night stay. Great location and fabulous views. The Hot tub was superb, we were lucky enough to catch two beautiful sunsets. Whitby centre is only a small walk away, with loads to do. Will definitely be back.

A great little place for a quick stop or as a base to explore the local area. It had everything we needed and the host was friendly and attentive.

Found the place quite easily, the place was spotlessly clean and a lovely little hideaway, cant fault the rooms, bathroom was lovely, couldn’t initially get onto the drive as the FIL parked over, once on the drive difficult if you are in a big vehicle to reverse out with cars parked opposite behind, so parked back on the road, unfortunately there was a concrete post at an angle hidden in the grass, i opened my door onto it denting it quite badly, shame we wasn’t made aware of this, i removed the yellow post Two real gripes, the heating situation only having two hours at a time is not good, it was cold nights when we visited, so when we went out for the night we came back to a very cold room, for the money paid, heating should be controlled by the guest or at least 4/5 hours on time Struggled to get a phone signal as in a valley, so resorted to Wi-Fi which was awful, it was that slow i could not update my iPhone, so be aware of this if you want contact with the outside world

great place central location, Easy to access with clear instructions on how to find it amd check in, quick response with any communications, great place, great views, great price, I will definitely be back and will recommend it to friends and family. thanks

A lovely stay in this amazing little bolthole in beautiful, characterful Yorkshire. The value for money is, quite frankly, ridiculously good. Anthony is very friendly, helpful and welcoming and we got the impression that both he and Jane really do care about their guests. Small extras like a crockpot, an air fryer and coffee machine are all so useful and make the place feel like a home -from-home. Having a washer & dryer makes everything so easy too - and surprised us for the low price! Everything is very clean too! Parking was easy with the permit and we felt like everything was straightforward and hassle-free. Area is handy for tourists too - Whitby is 30 mins drive away, Robin Hood’s Bay at around 40 mins abc Scarborough at 60 mins. Thank you so much, Anthony and Jane, we’ll be back!

Ray’s lovely cottage lived up to expectations and beyond. There was ample room both inside and out. The furnishings and fittings were of a high standard and supplies of fresh , clean towels and lots of hot water was a bonus. Also the little extras to make you feel at home, tea , coffee , milk and a tea cake. I especially liked the private garden area and the lovely Summer house which was perfect for relaxing in after a days walking. Parking on site is also a big plus. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

My adult son and I stayed for three nights in Brian’s property . The apartment is immaculate and just as described with high quality fixtures and fittings. Beds, linen and pillows particularly stand out. Plenty to see and do within walking distance, frequent bus service from Whitby to surrounding villages and towns as well as train station within walking distance- if you want a different method of transport. For those driving to Whitby the free parking is a real bonus ( residents permit provided with rental property) . If you get the chance to book this place- take it- highly recommend.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding, great location with pubs, shops and cafes all within walking distance.

It's a lovely Flat in a beautiful location with fabulous views. Essential to know that bringing some supplies is essential as Sandsend doesn’t have a grocery or cornor store location. There are pubs and restaurants some of which are very nice.

Lee was fantastic at helping with my queries. The location was spot on for where I needed to be. Would stay again for sure.

We had a wonderful two night stay. Vanessa is a wonderful host. The courtyard is a lovely place to be. Well appointed, very clean and a wonderful place to base yourself from.
