Master Bedroom - Beautiful house with sea views..

SylviaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I’ve enjoyed a wonderful short break staying with Ruth in her lovely home in Saltburn. The room is large, light and airy with a big comfy bed and all the comforts of home. Ruth’s offer includes breakfast and access to a guest kitchen and lounge which is unusual for an Airbnb. There is a real atmosphere of home and family especially, with the addition of Ralph the dog. It’s easy to enjoy and yet have your own space too. It is exceptional value for money. I have spent most of my days out and about sketching the landscape around the town. Saltburn is a quaint and quirky Victorian seaside town full of history, independent shops, great cafes and restaurants. I particularly enjoyed The Seaview for fish and the Ship Inn for reasonably priced meals. Do try Cannoli Corner near the station if you love Italian desserts. The town is served with an excellent X4 bus service which runs up to Middlesbrough and then over to Whitby via Staithes, Runswick Bay, and Sandsend.

Scoresby Hideaway - Whitby Holiday Home Whitby Uk

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I booked this a surprise for myself and 3 friends for a 50th birthday. The accommodation was great, clean, tidy and felt like a home from home. It was easy enough to find one we realised the satnav was confused 😕 Parking was a bit tight but once parked no issue as we didn't need the car as everything within walking distance and that is exactly what we wanted. Hosts very easy to deal with and have given very good recommendations for places to visit. Myself and my friends throughly enjoyed our stay and we've even discussed booking the same property next year. highly highly recommend. thank you to our hosts.

The room is very aesthetic, with beautiful furniture and big bathroom. It is like small apartment and very clean. The location is great, near the station and close to the beach. Communication with Becky was very good. I recommend 100%.

Horseshoe Cottage, Near Whitby, Glaisdale.

StephenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved our three night stay in Horseshoe Cottage. Sarah was very quick to reply to any queries and the cottage is exactly as advertised. It's situated on a steep hill in the tiny village of Glaisdale, which was perfect for us as we wanted to visit Whitby, which was a mere 20 minutes away in the car. The countryside is beautiful and the village itself has a shop, a butchers, a post office and a pub. What more do you need? The lovely winding roads that lead to Glaisdale, and the surrounding scenery of rolling hills and flowing streams, seems like it's out of a nature book. It's quiet in Glaisdale, so don't make too much noise. But it's hard to do that when the place itself just takes your breath away. Recommended for anyone looking to hike the hills and moors, and for anyone who wishes to visit Whitby. A marvellous little stay. I'm sure we'll return.

Beyond The Harbour

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely loved staying here. The house is tastefully decorated, clean and uncluttered with everything you need and it's all pristine. It's just a couple of minutes walk from the train station and town centre and a large Co-op (open til 10PM) but very quiet and private. The large baths and excellent showers were very much appreciated by our group who spent most of the days we stayed there walking. As others have said, parking requires a little bit of searching round the nearby roads for a spot but in 6 nights we stayed there, we always found one or more spots (and you can double park to load and unload outside the house if needed). Tips: * The sitting room TV only has broadcast telly. If you want to watch TV on demand, bring either a Chromecast dongle or similar, or a laptop and HDMI cable and use the TV as a monitor. * If you like beer, the Whitby Brewery and tap room is opposite the Abbey ruins at the top of the 199 steps. It's just 10 mins walk away. Don't miss it. :-)

Demeter House - Town House in heart of Whitby

HayleyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We have just returned after a 4 night stay here - the house and location was perfect. Just a 15 minute walk into Whitby. The house was lovely and met all our needs, lovely kitchen with a nice big dining room table for us all to sit around. The lounge was cosy and comfortable at night time. The beds and pillows were so comfortable had the best 4 nights sleep. Check in was very easy and hassle free. It was a lovely comfortable stay.

Bridget was a fab host and the house was clean and lovely. It was nice to stay in an Airbnb with quality furnishings/bedding etc with not every single item under the roof being from IKEA. Communication was good and relatively good value!

Stewart House - Grade II listed Georgian townhouse

JuneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely house with sufficient space for 3 families within walking distance of Whitby town, harbour and beaches. Beds comfy, bathrooms clean with nice toiletries provided, kitchen well stocked, welcome pack and milk too. Delicious biscuits too. There was parking but streets in Whitby are narrow. That’s its charm. Esther was especially helpful in providing information about the house and surrounding area like restaurants and beaches before we arrived. All in all a great place.

The pictures do not do it justice, so much nicer decor in real life and brighter inside. The location is perfect, shop opposite, two pubs less than a two minute walk! We will most definitely be back.

An excellent base to enjoy Whitby and the surrounding areas. The town was within easy walking distance. David communicated well and we were able to check in early. The tea, coffee and other goodies were most welcome, especially the fizz. Would definitely recommend.
