Holiday houses in Red River Gorge

As a honeymoon retreat the place was perfect. Unfortunately we found the only tourist-friendly places were at least a 25 minute drive and the hikes were also a 25+ minute drive.

We felt right at home here. The property is very private and the hosts thought of everything their guests might need for accommodations. They were very thorough in their instructions and had a quick response time with our questions. The hammocks in the rock formation were a nice touch and we really appreciated having firewood ready to go for us. The outdoor shower and the whole rain water system was so inspiring it made us want to add to our home. This will definitely be our go-to spot when we’re not camping in the Gorge.

A phenomenal find! This little cabin is a gem. It had the perfect mix of comfort with the beautiful bathroom, hot tub, full kitchen and comfy bed while also feeling like a no-fuss, private get away. It’s still a cabin and is still improving but that just makes us more excited to go back! Also be aware that this is in a woodsy area and is still a cabin so lots of bugs and wildlife. Prepare for ticks in the grass and spiders in house if that’s something that bothers you a hotel might be a better choice. But if you want the perfect place to relax after long days spent outdoors this is the place for you. Our dogs were also well welcome and really enjoyed the property!

The place was exactly as pictured! Very cozy & peaceful. I had a little trouble finding it - it turns out there are 2 airbnbs at the same address and I accidentally went to the wrong one at first but I quickly found the correct place! If you’re like me and have a small car that isn’t necessarily made for tough road conditions, don’t worry! The drive in was totally fine and I had no issues with parking/getting in and out of the gravel drive. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay.

We are locals to the area but we were looking for a private getaway from our busy life of the hustle and bustle. We spent the evening on the porch overlooking the tree tops, the hot tub was fantastic and then at dark you could see every star in the sky. We even sat & counted the airplanes passing us by. Sounds silly but this place is just what you need if you’re looking to escape the world. The directions provided were on point, we do have a 4 wheel drive but didn’t require it. I couldn’t believe this type of place existed so close to home. This is a prestige location for blissful peace! I’ve already recommended it to many friends and family and we plan to return in the fall.

Everything was great just had a issue getting in the code didn't match up. But we figured it out. They were very helpful and friendly during the whole experience. Loved the cabin and views!

This place is a 100 out of 10. I have stayed at a lot of airbnbs and this one is the best we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. The deck was perfect for evening reading or talking about our day. Lots of wildlife, we got to met the deer and turkey that comes to the pond in the evenings. The snacks were a welcome surprise because we didn’t bring any. The bed was so comfortable!! They thought of everything. All the little details and things you don’t think of packing was there. We went o a UTV ride with Out the Top and came back very muddy, there was an outside shower that we could hose off our muddy selves and clothes and didn’t have to worry about anyone seeing us because the place is secluded. I can not say enough good things about this place. The host should be super host and I know they will reach that status quickly. The host were in contact to make sure we checked in fine and even ran out and got us a fan because we are those people who sleep with a fan on no matter what

We all enjoyed our stay very, very much and are already planning to come back. It was absolutely phenomenal—everything went above and beyond our expectations. The location was beautiful, the accommodations were clean and cozy, and the entire experience made our trip unforgettable. From the little details to the overall atmosphere, everything was perfect. It’s a great place to stay if you’re visiting Red River Gorge. The peaceful surroundings, the thoughtful setup, and the comfort of the space made it feel like a home away from home. We appreciated how well-maintained everything was and how easy the check-in process went. It’s clear that the hosts put a lot of effort into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Red River Gorge. You won’t be disappointed—we absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return!
