In the center of Punkaharju there are grocery stores, a pharmacy and a gas station, 8 km away. Savonlinna 30 km, nearest railway station Lusto 6 km. Helsinki 350 km. Nearby, the Forest Museum Lusto and the Tree Species Park with marked trails and hiking trails.

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.
