Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek, a one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

With plenty of sunshine and shade trees you can kick back with a book while enjoying your favorite beverage on the private waterside deck, dangle your feet in the river from the private bridge, catch a glimpse of a bald eagle or throw a line in to catch a trout or two. What more can you ask for?

Short Walk to Beautiful Torch Lake and Sandbar

Come and enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer, no matter what time of year. Located just a 9 minute walk from Torch Lake, in Rapid City, Michigan, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is ready for weekly rentals. This home comfortably sleeps 6 (up to 8 with the sofa bed). It has all of the amenities; central air, heat, TV, internet, washer and dryer, gas stove, microwave, garbage disposal, propane gas grill, coffee bar, a privacy fence in the backyard with a furnished patio and fire pit.

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

Beachfront Cottage Torch Lake Sandbar

Located right on Torch Lake's famous sandbar, this cozy cottage comes fully furnished and sleeps 4 comfortably- room for 2 more (children) on pull out couch. We have a mooring buoy by request/approval located off of your own private beach area. Enjoy one of the most beautiful inland lakes Michigan has to offer! 50% cleaning fee will be reimbursed if all check out procedures have been completed and no property damage has been noted. We have a strict 6 person/no smoking/no pet policy.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

This was built new in spring of 2025 and ready for your up north experience. Just 3 miles from Bellaire, 6 miles from Schuss Mountain for golf and skiing. 45 minutes from Traverse City and Petoskey. The perfect launching point for all NW Michigan has to offer.

Originally built in 1995, this a-frame lodge was once a rustic hunting and fishing cabin. It lived many years as a seasonal property before evolving into what you see today. It sits amongst 5 peaceful acres of towering maple trees. We invite you to detach, slow down, rest, explore, create and enjoy each other’s company.
