Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Rankoshi, Isoya District

My first time in Kutchan, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. While getting around without your own transportation can be a bit of a challenge—bus services are limited and not very frequent—it’s still manageable. If you don’t mind a bit of a walk, you’ll be just fine. Kutchan’s charm makes the effort worth it.

Takeki’s place is perfect if you have a car and want to experience how locals from Sapporo live. The property itself looks like a dream inside, clean yet full of design touch. The location is central enough yet away from the crowded tourist areas. Lots of small business, groceries stores, and shops nearby that, again, made us feel like we live like locals here. I would 100% live here again next time.

It was a very comfortable little home that worked for 2 friends. It is walking distance to the nearest convinient store but it is a very steep uphill climb so that you are prepared for it just. We enjoyed it super

Host was absolutely wonderful and helpful and was able to pick me up from the train station and return me to the train station. The place is impeccable. Super interesting the way he’s put it together I don’t think there’s anything in there that’s not perfectly aligned… the pillow was the best pillow I’ve had in all of Japan. I bring my own pillow, but I actually was able to use his pillow. The bathrooms were very clean and had a nice bidets. Showers were super. The only problem is there’s no place to sit outside of your bedroom. There’s no little living room area as there is in most capsule hotels. All in all, I think it was the most interesting day I’ve had in Japan.

Great place to stay at with everything you need from the kitchen to washing machine. True to picture with the listed amenities. A 10 minutes walk to the convenience stores, the Main Street as well as the bus stop to Kokusai ski resort.

This apartment in Otaru is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck by how aesthetically pleasing the space was. The central location couldn't have been better for exploring all that Otaru has to offer. And after a day of sightseeing, the comfortable bed was a treat. What truly stood out, though, was the host's thoughtfulness. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but the host went above and beyond by providing toys, which kept our little one happy. Communication was also seamless from the initial booking right through to our departure. The host was always prompt, helpful, and genuinely cared about our stay. We highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be booking it again on our next visit to Otaru!

This was a clean and comfortable place to stay. Located above a yakiniku restaurant, it offered a convenient dining option though we did not dine there as it was pricey. The check-in instructions were a bit unclear as the promised PDF guide wasn't received. While the host was responsive and quickly clarified any questions, clearer initial instructions would have been helpful. The location is decent, but finding late-night dining options in the immediate vicinity might be challenging.

Our stay with Niseko Mountain Guides did not disappoint. The accomodation was as described (even better) and the location was incredible. The hosts were very friendly and helpful if you need. We will definitely be back!

Second House Otaru is a helpful and responsive host. The house is spacious and has the necessary amenities. It's also located near places of interest. Otaru is an interesting city, and we had an enjoyable time here. Thank you Second House for hosting us at Otaru! 😊

We had such a great time staying here! We felt right at home and the place was so cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked for easy cooking and the shower/tub was fun.

It was a beautiful home, very nicely decorated and host has provided many amenities that made our stay very convenient and pleasant.. even though it was quite cold outside about 9 degrees Celsius (during our period of stay), the house was very comfortable as it was heated by the hot spring and there were heaters on the rooms on the second level.. host was also very helpful and provided us with many recommendations with restaurants and places of interest - the wagyu beef place was really good and we enjoyed it thoroughly.. Highly recommend!

I stayed with my family. The house was new, the furniture and appliances were new, and it was comfortable.The kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook, and the plates and cups were cute. The location is excellent.It is a 5-minute walk straight from Minami-Otaru Station.The whole family was delighted with the freshly baked soft France from the bakery next door. There was parking in front of the room, and it was very convenient. About a 3-minute walk from the room, you can go to Otaru Sakai-machi, a tourist attraction in Otaru.It is a good city with a very atmospheric walk to the Otaru Canal while enjoying souvenir shopping. Around the room, there is a supermarket Coop, and there are a lot of fresh and delicious ingredients from Hokkaido. On the way from Minami Otaru Station to the room, the ramen shop's miso ramen was also very delicious, so the whole family was very satisfied. The location was good, the room was clean, and I had a very satisfying trip to Otaru.Above all, the owner was very friendly.When we arrived, there were delicious sweets, coffee, and tea on the table. I hope to see you in the future.

Clean, new, modern, and tucked away right by the action. Loved stopping by the food trucks on my short walk home. Would highly recommend!

The city and accessibility were good, and I was thankful for using it conveniently.

This was easily one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful 3 bed / 3 bath unit that perfectly matched the pictures from the listing. It snowed for the first few days of our stay (no complaints here as this was a ski trip), but on a clear day you are greeted with a beautiful view of Mt Yotei from the living room & back porch. We made great use of the kitchen making breakfast each morning before heading to the mountains, and then most nights we would walk to / around Hirafu village for great food, drinks, and entertainment. Highly recommend staying at Aspect, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again for playing a major part in what was the best ski vacation of our lives.
