Holiday rentals with a kayak in Rangeley Plantation

Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

Stayed here for the weekend with a group of 10 friends and had the best time! Before we arrived, Emily and Anthony sent over a super helpful list of instructions along with recommendations for things to do in the area. They were also really responsive whenever we had questions, which made everything super easy. The location is great with a beautiful water view! While we mostly hung out at the house, we made a grocery run and everything we needed was just 5–10 minutes away. For anyone wanting to explore more, they even had a binder with local recommendations, which was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. We especially loved the bonfire setup and the awesome selection of board games—it made for such a fun and cozy weekend. Would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome stay. Owner was very friendly. House was set up great and was very clean, organized and stocked well with essentials. She even left us some fresh goodies from a local bakery. We will be back for another stay in the future.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Camp Copper! A great property for a larger group, with nicely decorated interior and brand new appliances. Host is super responsive and addressed the icy conditions during the time of our stay quickly. Superb location for skiing at Sunday River in the winter and due to the lakeside location most certainly the perfect summer location as well. We will be back!

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

This house was incredible! Extremely spacious, clean, and private. Located on the back side of a farm we had our own space which was very much appreciated by our dogs who could run around the fields. Brad was so welcoming and responsive! He was flexible and friendly. We stayed to visit a family member in the hospital but will book again in the future for a vacation because the location was that beautiful.

We stayed at the cottage for about a week in late September and it was a perfect spot to get away from it all. The house is on a serene pond with trees reflected on the water, classic Maine. The cottage was clean and well kept with most everything you’d need. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, so not a party spot, which worked out fine for our quiet family. We’d consider coming back to visit family. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

Lilla stugga is a beautiful property with all of the lake life amenities you could need. The location is very peaceful and private with amazing sunsets and lakefront. The outdoor shower was an added bonus! Hosts were super responsive and helpful with my questions. Highly recommend for a Maine lake getaway!

This place was quiet and close to the lake exactly what our group need for our yearly ice fishing trip Leslie was very responsive and easy to talk to would definitely recommend and make a return trip

The cottage was so beautiful, clean and cozy. Tom and Rosemarie gave us tips on places to go to try to see moose and avoid the crowds near the touristic places. Kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked just as expected. I just wish we had come in a hotter day so we could use the kayak and paddles on the lake! Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the cottage. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and offering stunning sunset views of the pond along with kayaks to go out and enjoy! The cottage itself was cozy and clean and we felt at home! Darlene was welcoming and attentive ensuring everything was just right for our stay! I highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful stay! It was a bit chilly so we were able to enjoy the fire pit outdoors with the wood that was provided! Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.

Wonderful stay, highly recommended. My family and I had an amazing stay with Ceara. The location was everything we hoped it would be, providing us some much needed quiet family time. The home was well equipped, clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We were welcomed into their home and were provided a great time in Maine. Me and my family are grateful and would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience a quite and peaceful getaway.

Cute cabin on the lake. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped to cook. Hot tub was hot when we got there and everything was ready to go. Check in/out were super easy. Provided a coffee/tea bar. Overall felt very welcoming with a cozy feel

Beautiful place. Lovely decorated. I would say that it is probably a little expensive for staying there in the winter/ fall time. Only one of us could sit on the couch at a time due to its location by the tv. The shower is really small and there is no room for toiletries in the bathroom at all. There is a rack but I had to keep all my bathroom stuff in bags the entire time because it is just lacking in space. I would think The price is worth it if you’re staying there in the summer and get to use the lake.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this charming camp on Webb Lake, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The serene setting was perfect for enjoying the outdoors together. We spent our time fishing on the beautiful lake, where we caught a handful of fish. Kayaking was a highlight as well; the combination of being on the lake, mountain views and beautiful weather was simply magical. The camp itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing a wonderful weekend getaway. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway filled with outdoor fall activities, this is the place to be.
