Dreamy!! The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful, and the sauna was such an added amazing bonus for my own personal retreat! A perfect stay if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten path, and for some much needed peace and quiet in the beauty of Iceland!

Brilliant location in the middle of the golden circle for seeing and doing everything, Can be tricky to find first time with certain navigation apps, I would suggest a what3words location or a shared google pin, Good amenities and facilities in the cabinet, The hot tub was great to sit out and see the northern lights, Took us awhile to fill up and get the correct temperature but once sorted you get amazing views of the sky The two single beds pushed together were very comfortable, A second pillow would have been a nice touch But overall really good place, Lovely cabin, Good amenities and amazing location:)

I had a wonderful stay! The host was very proactive and communicative, making check-in and the entire experience smooth and easy. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. We stayed at Haukur's cabin for a week and enjoyed it very much. He was always easily accessible and helped us with everything. The property is beautiful and great for unwinding. It's very quiet and peaceful. It looked fantastic in any weather. The cabin is well equipped. You are about 20 minutes away by car from Selfoss and there is everything you need. It was very nice to meet you, hopefully until next time!

We felt very comfortable, the cabin is completely sufficient and equipped with everything that is needed. All the sights of the golden circle are easily accessible. Definitely recommended

Accommodation that contains all the romance of the guesthouse! It's clean because you're always there, and there's nothing without basic equipment and food. Besides, he was so kind and told me about good spots, and it was perfect.

The Tower was a truly unique place to stay with great views from the shared observation deck. Our unit was clean and cozy with all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. A great place to rest up between hike-filled days in Iceland!

Harald’s place was peaceful and in a lovely location. It is private, with no light pollution, and pretty much has everything you need. There is a nice yard, cute fairy house and bridge on the side of the cottage, and a community playground within walking distance. A few miles up the road is a lovely church and historical site with a turf house, school cairn (built maybe during the Middle Ages), a memorial to Jon Arason—a 16th century bishop, and a field to forage a delicious local treat—crowberries! Perfect location to check out golden circle area-close to kerid crater, geyser, bruarfoss, gullfoss, and the geothermal bakery and springs—Laugarvatn Fontana. If I could live at Harald’s place, I would! He is a straight forward, responsive host. I got all the information I needed when I needed it.

Terrific place. They even had power adapters which we forgot. Our clothes got wet so we asked her if we can use the “Staff only “ dryer which she politely declined because it will dirty up sheets when she washes them. So very conscious about keeping place clean. Totally recommend
