The place is located about 1 km from the ferry dock on Ågskardet, close to the sea. View from the house, to fjords and mountains in the area. Good opportunity for mountain trips, both easy and more demanding. Best suited for 2, or a small family. The house is from the 1800s, but renovated and new bathroom with shower in 2017. Formerly a granary, but housing since 1946, and has retained some of the original character. Equipped for simple cooking, with a stove. Refrigerator and freezer. Electric car charging only by appointment in advance. One bedroom, steep stairs up.

Peaceful place by a small body of water.

Mo i Rana. Cosy cabin 32 square metres, WITHOUT running water (has water tanks). With mains power. Close to nature without prying eyes. The cabin is located in Plurdalen, about 30 minutes north of Mo i Rana. Private driveway almost to the cabin (10 m from the entrance), where it is not possible to turn around. I find the phone coverage a bit variable around/in the cabin. No Wi-Fi No bathroom. Camping shower in an outdoor shower corner. Outhouse(drydo). House rules are read before arrival.

You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.
