List was eager to explain the property’s attributes and answer questions. He even had a boot/shoes drier that consisted of a reverse vacuum like tube that blew warm air into wet she’s/boots to dry them overnight.

Very great place to stay!

A great little apartment in a super location. A short drive to many of Lofoten’s main attractions and with views of some epic mountains from the kitchen/living room. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the whole apartment was very clean on arrival. The host answered fast and gave good instructions on how to locate the place.

Great location for visiting the west part of Lofoten. Historical fishing town that is worth the visit, just take into account that supermarkets are therefore a 20min drive away. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and bathroom (washing machine) as well as the elaborate hikes that are available in the area. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

The place was just like in the pictures. Peaceful, clean and close to the beach :) We stayed almost a week and we had a good time.

We spent a week in Lena's apartment. We enjoyed the storm from the first moment on. The apartment is lovingly and tastefully renovated in old style. The view of the harbor inlet is magical.. you see lots of different boats that quietly glide past, the different colors and levels of the water depending on the weather and wind, and also all charming little houses on the other side. And in the backdrop towers majestic mountains… just incredible!! Lena is an amazing host. Helpful and easy to reach and immediately felt like a dear old friend. We climbed Festvågstinden in Henningsvær but also had a position to many other attractions on Lofoten. We will be longing back every day ♥️

Lovely place, feels very spacious and homey, has everything you need to be cozy and to make home cooked meals. Would recommend!

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

Absolutely brilliant stay! The place is beautiful and in a great location. Plenty of space and great amenities available. The shower was great! Hege was really responsive and really helpful. I can’t fault it. I had a great stay and would love to stay again!

We enjoyed staying in this cosy family home. The views are amazing and the house is in an area with good opportunities to go for a walk. Highly recommended!

Wow, what an incredible experience. All the comfort and modern luxury set amongst the harsh environment makes for memories that will last a very long time. Our entire family enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything about the accommodation was very well thought out, practical, modern, comfortable, fully equipped and visually stunning. What a wonderful apartment! It has a great location, overlooking the water and a short walk to anywhere in Svolvaer. It has a well equipped kitchen, excellent wifi, comfortable bed, spacious living area, and was super clean. Lisbeth is such a lovely, friendly and responsive host. really enjoyed our week at Barstrand. Hans Ole was great in providing us with information and recommendations before and during our stay :) every question and problem was swiftly take care of. Fully recommend it for a relaxed stay with view in the sea :)

Ten years old Airbnb guest, never encountered such a good housekeeper and the most satisfying B&B. 1. Actively tell us that we can see the aurora light outside 2. Knowing that we went by boat to Tromsø at night, deliberately arranged for us to check out at four o'clock 3. The environment is very good, look at the picture, I don't rate it. 4. The location is also good, just 30m on the E10 road, it is convenient to go anywhere, 10 minutes by car to town, there are two big supermarkets, Kiwi and Rema

Home looks even better than the photos. Impeccably clean and well furnished and stocked. Would highly recommend

Lovely place and enough space for two adults and three teenagers. The grocery store downstairs and the beach across the road was something you couldn't even expect😊👌

Charming house in a wonderful location, right next to the sea. The views from the living room and the rooms are just gorgeous. During rainy days we loved staying in the house just watching the sea, the mountains and the little houses on the shore. The house has everything you might need. Although the stairs to the rooms upstairs might seem a bit steep at first, you quickly get used to them and we actually ended up loving them, as part of the authenticity and the charm of the house. Absolutely recommendable.

I stayed in several places during my trip across Norway, but this Airbnb in Svolvær was by far the best experience I had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just perfect. The cabin is spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly well-equipped, every single thing you might need is already there, thoughtfully prepared with care and attention. It felt instantly safe, warm, and homey, which is rare to find. What made this stay truly unforgettable was our host. He was so present, kind, and generous, sharing local tips, stories, and our passion for photography. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, observe splendid auroras from the backyard and feel truly welcomed, this is the one. The furnishing and amenities made the accomodation really comfortable. Really convenient as there is parking available at the accomodations. Host was responsive to our questions. Highly recommended for anyone vusing Henningsvær!!
