We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very comfortable, spotless clean, and included a light breakfast with toasts, coffee, and fresh fruit. The host was extremely responsive and shared lots of great local tips. The only thing to keep in mind is the walk to the apartment — it's about a 5-minute uphill climb from the main road, with quite a few stairs. That said, it's part of Modica’s charm as a vertical city. The host also recommended several nearby places to park, which made things much easier

Highly recommended, If you like space, freedom, friendly hosts and privacy. This was the perfect base for us to then visit the beautiful beaches and discover the area. Less than 10/12 min from the beach and return to a detached house with great views. We stayed here in mid-June. In terms of temperature, it was just about possible at night. We Dutch might have found it too hot in August. All in all a great place that is worth more than your money. 10/10!

Adriana was super kind and helpful, the accommodation is comfortable and quiet, it has a terrace that is breathtaking, it was really a shame to spend only one night there. Highly recommended.

as the ad says, the view is breathtaking, both day and night. the accommodation is great, atypical and amazing, very well located. Giorgio is very responsive, good advice. We just regret not staying for more than one night as Ragusa is worth the detour.

This house is much more than just a fantastic place to stay! This house is an absolute work of art and the ones who planned, implemented and decorated it are real artists! I couldn't stop walking through the rooms and looking at the details. Everything is just beautiful and functional at the same time: from wardrobe hooks, sheets, towels and plates, to the furniture to the great stove. Only high quality materials are processed in this house, nothing is cheap or kitschy. No compromises were made here. There are some beautiful, tailor-made decor accents and otherwise there is no unnecessary stuff around! The walled garden is fantastic, but especially we loved the small viewing terrace, where you can sit in the morning sun. Scicli is a picturesque town, many beautiful restaurants are within walking distance and experiencing the Easter celebrations there was a very special experience. Thank you!

Villa Sorelle was a wonderful stay! It does not have close neighbors, so was peaceful and private, but also is only a short drive into Pozzallo which is a lovely sea front town. The pictures accurately show it, nicely updated, clean, and with nice pillows and cushions throughout. The host also arranged a lovely crib and high chair for us. Highly recommend!

Villa Arillá is a fabulous place to spend time in Sicily. Close to Marina di Ragusa and nearby Ragusa, Scicli, Modica and Noto. Everything was easy and Tati was a fabulous host. We really enjoyed our holiday here and would thoroughly recommend it to others.

For our taste, the most beautiful Airbnb we've ever stayed in! Beautiful and tastefully furnished house with garden, where we spent a lot of time sitting on the terrace or lying in the hammock. You live in the middle of the countryside surrounded by great scenery, countless chirping birds, dogs, cats and chickens (which we fed every day). You can reach the beach in 10 minutes by car, the surrounding towns (Scicli, Modica, Ragusa) are also only between 10 and 30 minutes away and all of them are really worth a visit. Charlie was a very dear, likeable host who provided us with many good tips and was also very accommodating. We were with him for almost two weeks and would have liked to stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful countryside home! The house was spacious, clean, and full of charm, with a fantastic pool that quickly became our favorite spot to relax and unwind. Carmelo was an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and always available if we needed anything. His hospitality truly made our stay feel special and stress-free. We made great use of the kitchen and the outdoor grill — perfect for enjoying meals together and making the most of the peaceful setting. Being in the countryside, the environment was calm and natural, with the occasional fly reminding us we were truly immersed in nature — it all added to the rustic charm. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. A perfect escape for anyone looking to slow down and soak up the tranquility of the countryside — with a fantastic host to match!

From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Oriana is an absolutely wonderful host. She is extremely welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much. Oriana greeted us personally upon arrival and showed us around and how a few things worked. She then came back later on with fresh pizza dough - which she went out of her way to source on an Italian Bank Holiday, when most places were closed. She then stayed and helped make the pizza bases, whilst her husband was outside showing other members of our group how to use the outdoor pizza oven. This was far beyond what we’d ever expect of any Airbnb host. Incredible hospitality. The home itself was beautiful. It was so well equipped and absolutely spotlessly clean. It’s also bigger than pictures suggest. The outdoor area is spotless again. I cannot recommend this property, and especially its host, highly enough. I could say so much more but for the character limit! Absolutely amazing stay and we will definitely visit again.

Wonderful place. We enjoyed every minute of being there. We travel with two small kids, and Maria had a baby bath and even baby shampoo ready for us as well as some local citrus and chocolate for the kids. This type of thoughtfulness is hard to come by. The place itself was great. Super close to Modica and Ragusa. And the meat spot was spot on. We loved the salume we got there. Can highly recommend this place.

What a beautiful home. Adriana’s place is peaceful & with stunning views overlooking Scicli. The house is very well equipped, a great place to unwind & has everything you need for a great stay. The pool is just fabulous. We arrived late at night & had no food (there are no supermarkets open after 9pm locally) but Adrianna kindly let us use whatever we could find & a risotto was rustled up. Coffee, milk, toast & marmalade are provided for breakfast the first day which is thoughtful. Scicli is a beautiful town and we enjoyed our morning coffee in Chiosco 'a Funtana which has the best coffee ever - a gorgeous spot. Fresh fish from the local fishmonger is highly recommended too and the little vegetable kiosks by the coffee spot & fishmonger have every delicious vegetable you might need. Thanks Adrianna for being a super responsive & kind host.

A celebration of my 70 years with children and 4 grandchildren. Perfect. Great outdoor space. Rooms were basic but we prefer that as we would have worried about the children with sticky fingers etc if it had been all designer chic. A beautiful pool. A few minutes from culture and great beaches. A SPA supermarket 10 minutes away with great fresh veg, meat and fish. And wine ! Well done Paulo.

The whole team were really helpful and responsive. The villa and especially the garden are fantastic, as is the town of Scicli. The sound proofing between the two bedrooms isn’t good which is just something to be aware of if you value your privacy. Overall I would definitely recommend this villa!

We (6 adults, one toddler) had a fantastic time at the villa! It is very charming, with the perfect blend of historic character and modern amenities. It has everything you need for a great stay. The location is very peaceful and yet well connected. A large store selling groceries and other stuff you may need is a few minutes drive away, and there are restaurants and markets nearby in Pozzalo. We mostly cooked dinner at home since we loved eating outside on the veranda. We also enjoyed the infinity pool. The villa serves as an excellent base for day trips to places such as Siracusa, Modica, Villa Romana del Casale, Marzamemi, and Ragusa. William and Antonella are the most welcoming hosts, and they shared lots of great suggestions for things to do in the area. It was a pleasure meeting them, and we hope to visit again!

Just got back from an amazing stay in this gorgeous yurt and had to leave a review! The location is so unique and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The yurt itself is super spacious, and has everything you could possibly need. Outside, there’s a large decking area with an outdoor bar, kitchen, and dining space—all styled in a lovely beachy vibe with stunning views. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Plus, it’s just a short distance to a lovely quiet village with restaurants and bars—great for a little exploring and some fantastic meals out. Such a dreamy, tranquil escape—can’t recommend it enough!

What a gem!! Francesco’s and Marilena’s apartment is simply amazing. It is well equipped, has everything needed (and more), such a cosy place. We felt home the second we moved in there. Delicious restaurants are in walking distance, also there’s enough street parkings close by, if you have a rental car. Within short drives you can reach various beaches/other towns. We also appreciated the restaurant/beach/visit recommendations by the hosts. We’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone, it’s the perfect place to explore Noto and the surrounding area.

it is an idyllic place perched in the hills with a breathtaking view of the back, however you have to go there during the day because at night it is very difficult to see the access road. In addition there is a washing machine, dryer, laundry available, full and hearty breakfast, a bottle of cold water, access to the pool, and parking and secure accommodation cameras and automatic gate. We are pampered.

This is a well thought out, comfortable apartment that was built tastefully and with high quality furnishings. Space feels like a luxurious hotel suite but with privacy and charm of a lived in home— it was a perfect, relaxing stay for us as a couple. The balcony up top with an outdoor shower is a super nice touch, I highly recommend spending time out there in the mornings or at dawn when the swallows fly. We also enjoyed the location, as it was quiet and didn’t feel touristy at all, yet we were very close to the city center. The neighborhood cafes/bakeries were all excellent, as per host’s recommendations. Silvia, the host, was kind, helpful and very fast with her responses, it was a total pleasure to chat with her. Fully recommend this apartment!

Our family of three had several wonderful days at Villa Cammarana and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was gorgeous and equipped with everything you could need from a bbq and stocked kitchen to laundry and a huge, comfortable patio—they even left local cheese, strawberries and bread for us. We loved the green yard as well and our kiddo had a great time playing out there. There’s no A/C but we never had an issue with being hot, the house stays cool and all the windows are screened so it was very fresh at night. Just bring a sleep mask because the sun rises early. It’s easy to get to Ragusa, a grocery store (both ~20 min) and nearby villages, but you must have a car. We went to the beach at Marina di Ragusa twice, very reasonable to rent loungers and towels. The sea is calm and perfect for swimming, lots of local families. Definitely so glad we stayed here!

Such a charming apartment, the interior design bringing the vibe of the town of Modica inside with beautifully refurbished antiques and luxe, artistic decor. Our host was more than gracious, he was an actual angel: carried our bags from car down steep street to the apartment, greeted us with beautiful pastries, and was overall warm and welcoming. This apartment is a real find, excellently located to everything you would want to see with delightful sunny terraces within which to enjoy the sunshine. Thank you so much!
