Windy Peaks Farm

JudithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is our extended family's third visit to Windy Peaks, so that speaks to how much we enjoy the place. It is a very comfortable house in a beautiful setting that easily accommodates our family of 7 adults and 4 kids. Depending on the weather, we've enjoyed playing pickleball, ping pong, pool and board games; the very nice playground; sledding; fire pit; and skiing at nearby Ragged Mountain. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of room for multiple cooks to work their magic. (It is on a mountain top so can get windy, though, thus "Windy Peaks".)

Lake View Getaway

HayleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This little mountainside gem was the perfect weekend for my cousin and I to get away for a girls weekend! The weather wasn’t great, but it didn’t matter because there is so much to do, hot tub, pool, darts, games, puzzles, a floor to ceiling bookcase with great reads, cozy blankets, not to mention the tranquility of just sitting and staring out the window at the beautiful lake. If you are not used to the movement and pitter patter of dogs, this may not be the best fit for you. I was personally missing my dogs and I felt right at home hearing them upstairs!! There was a certain safety we felt being within someone’s home, it was easy to relax knowing the owners were right upstairs should we need anything but they were extremely respectful of our privacy and we only saw them on our way back from breakfast while they were out walking the pups! :) Such a great weekend, thanks Jim & Jude!

Dockside Dream | 4 mins to Mt Sunapee Resort

An-ChenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The place is so beautiful! A serene ski country getaway with a great view on the lake Sunapee. The only recommendation I have is to add a couple of space heaters as the heat circulation seemed fluctuating during our 3-day stay. Otherwise, with the proximity to Mt Sunapee, this cabin is unbeatable!

Stylish Cabin in Dorchester

HudsonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It was cozy, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed — from a well-equipped kitchen to a comfortable bathroom. You can tell the hosts really care; they were super friendly and always available if we needed anything. We only stayed for the weekend, but it was such a peaceful, refreshing getaway that we’re already planning to come back in another season to enjoy more of the nature around. That said, the cabin is perfect even in winter — warm, welcoming, and fully set up for a great stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

Sweet Suite!

TiffanyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was my second time back at the Sweet Suite, and I look forward to when I can come back again! I love the peace and quiet I have while staying here, I absolutely love the comfortable zero-gravity bed and the great WIFI so I can get things done online and access my Apple Fire Stick to watch all of my channels, and I love how pristinely clean the accommodations are. This time I got mixed up on the parking instructions because I was unaware that the little train depot used to be an ATM structure and parked in the wrong place. I thought the brick out-jutting in the back of the building might have housed an ATM at one time - so now I know the actual place to park after you turn off Main Street is the immediate parking lot to your left (not anywhere out back at all) with the little train depot structure at roadside, and that you can totally disregard the signs posted saying you will be towed because those are old/inactive signs and the police are aware of this too.

Sasquatch Shack in Washington

BriannaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sasquatch Shack was a wonderful place to stay, and Amy was easy to communicate with! The place was tidy and a little bigger than we expected. We had a night of rain, and with the clear ceilings, it was so relaxing. I was a little concerned about the outhouse before our stay, but it wasn't gross or spider-infested. Inside both the a-frame and the outhouse smelled wonderfully of pine, which really added to the pleasant stay. My friend brought an air mattress but we both ended up finding the beds comfortable enough to not bother with it. The trees are all bare right now which meant quite a bit of road frontage, but we only ever saw two people so it still felt remote and secluded. We look forward to coming back when the trees have their leaves for another weekend of no signal/wifi!
