Holiday houses in Rachtades

First I want to thank Margarita for being a such a great host and welcome my family and me with a fresh drinking water and plenty of snacks and fresh fruits. She made our stay so nice, pleasant and peaceful. House was so nice and clean, perfect for family gatherings and plenty of beautiful beaches and things to do around. Specious parking and great view of the sea from the balcony and all the rooms. Thank you again for making our family reunion special and joyful. Definitely 5+ stay

Waar moet ik beginnen? Vanaf het moment van de aankomst tot het moment van vertrek, was ons verblijf echt geweldig. We werden mega fijn ontvangen door Micheal en hij vertelde ons enthousiast over het huisje en de voorzieningen. Alles wat online beschreven stond, was aanwezig. Het huisje ligt heerlijk achteraf, waardoor je echt je helemaal afgesloten voelt van de drukte en echt kan genieten van de rust. 5 minuten verderop (lopend) zit een heerlijk Grieks restaurant en de supermarkt/ een groter plaatsje is op 6 minuten rijden te vinden. We hebben echt elke dag genoten van het huisje en je dag begint heerlijk met een ontbijtje op de veranda en vervolgens de rest van de dag heerlijk aan het zwembad liggen. We hopen hier heel graag nog een keer terug te komen, want dit was de perfecte vakantie met ons verblijf wat niet beter kon! Micheal en de rest van het team, heel erg bedankt! Het was perfect!

The house and the host Angela were both wonderful! The Airbnb was exactly as we pictured. The area, Palaiokastritsa, is also amazing. Two beautiful beaches and a monastery within walking distance, a few good restaurants right by the Airbnb, and the views in town are breathtaking. Also I would highly recommend taking Angela up on the complimentary boat ride. We did a half day out on the water by ourselves and it was perfect. We went to some caves and secluded beaches, had fun swimming, and the boat was easy to figure out and drive. Well worth it.

Our stay at Thinalo in Corfu was absolute perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the villa’s stunning sea views, private beach access, and luxurious yet cozy atmosphere. The spacious bedrooms, each with their own balcony and bathroom, felt like a dream, while the fully equipped kitchen and seamless indoor-outdoor living made every meal a delight. What truly set Thinalo apart was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond—adjusting our booking when travel delays shortened our trip and ensuring every detail was flawless. Katia, who welcomed us, was warm and professional, even arranging a last-minute boat rental that became the highlight of our trip. Waking up to the sound of waves, enjoying sunset dinners on the terrace, and swimming in the crystal-clear Ionian Sea just steps from our door—every moment felt magical. Thinalo isn’t just a rental; it’s a slice of paradise. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!

Amazing accommodation and hosts. The place and the house looked even better than in the photos. The area is private and quiet, without neighbors. Nice flowers and plants on the terrace, and a great mountain view. Nice furniture in the house, comfortable wide bed, working air condition, everything is super clean. Grocery stores within 6 minutes drive, beaches within 15 minutes drive. The hosts are friendly and responsive, always ready to help and answer questions, suggest local restaurants, beaches etc. I would definitely recommend the accommodation and hope to stay here again :)

Eine super schöne Unterkunft, wahrscheinlich noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Man kann die Tage auf der Terrasse wirklich genießen, dazu gibt es super Sonnenuntergänge. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche kann man super kochen, aber es gibt auch super Restaurants in der Gegend. Die Kommunikation mit Jenny war super und sie war stets sehr entgegenkommend und bemüht. Wir hatten eine super Zeit in der Unterkunft und kommen gerne wieder!

Die Unterkunft ist klein, aber man hat alles, was man braucht. Ich habe mich direkt wohl gefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Man sollte aber definitiv ein Auto oder Ähnliches haben, da das Dorf sonst schwer erreichbar ist :).

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt - traumhaft schöne Unterkunft! Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – alles neu, gepflegt, sehr sauber. Eigene Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge – perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Eleni & Giorgios waren außergewöhnlich herzlich, jederzeit erreichbar und haben uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich gemacht. Vielen Dank! Die Lage ist top: In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand (der Rückweg geht etwas bergauf), mit dem Auto dauert es keine Minute. Agios Georgios hat sich für uns als perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen erwiesen. Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man braucht – voll ausgestattete Küche, Fernseher + Netflix-Zugang, tolles Bett, ruhige Umgebung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Kleines Highlight für uns: die wenigen, sehr freundlichen Streunerkatzen in der Umgebung , die sich fernab der Straße über ein bisschen Futter freuen – wer Tiere liebt,
