Great stay! We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift basket and donuts, which was such a nice touch. The place was comfortable and exactly as described. The host was very responsive, checked on us daily to ensure we had everything that we needed, and made the whole experience seamless!

We loved our week on the Wedowee River! The kids LOVED the small bedrooms, there was plenty of space for all of us (2 parents and 6 kids) and it was incredibly peaceful. Everyone loved the master bathroom with the shower/bathtub space. The porch and grill were our favorite places to hang out as we made dinner, played games and enjoyed each other's company.

Great place to stay if you want to stay outside of town but still be close to do anything you need to do.

We really enjoyed our mini vacation and the place was really peaceful. Our daughters enjoyed the kayaks. There was plenty of room for everyone. Will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The donkeys on the property were so sweet and I enjoyed spending time with them! The home had so many amenities and the property was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again!

Allie’s place was exactly how it was shown. The living room was big and had a lot of space. It was very cozy. You could be comfortable just like at home. It was cold and there were blankets everywhere to snuggle up. There was enough for room for several people to be there. There were only 2 Of us but we were really able to spread out. Everything you needed was there. The instructions were clear. We had a delightful time there!

Great Place! Kami was an excellent host. This property has charm and personality. Beds were super comfortable. Very close to boat ramp. Back deck was perfect for observing nature while you drank your morning coffee! Kitchen well stocked! Will definitely be back.

This was my first glamping experience but won't be my last. Brooke has a beautiful place. As a solo glamper, I felt perfectly safe. This was one of the most peaceful experiences I've had in a while. Bed was super comfy. She provided coffee and water. Mini fridge came in useful. Bathhouse was nearby, clean, and beautifully decorated. Gorgeous deck. Fire table was very easy to operate. I will certainly be back again. 💜💜

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This was our first glamping experience and it exceeded my expectations. The a/c is cold, super comfy beds, and clean bath house. The small details and decor was so cute and it made everything feel so cozy. Host is responsive and accommodating! The kids loved all of the hiking trails nearby, especially the waterfall. If we are back in this area I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was beautiful, very peaceful and clean. We came for spring break with the grands and they loved the dock and fishing. We loved the hammock chairs to lay in the sun and nap, fire pit to set around and enjoy family time, kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We loved it here

Gloria’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway to do some hiking and off-roading in the area. Very clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, easy check in process. A note that there are a lot of stairs down to the dock if that’s an issue for anyone in your party but the view from the deck is beautiful as well! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable spot on the lake!

We recently stayed at a lovely Airbnb in Wedowee, Alabama, during the Talladega race weekend. This was our first visit to the area, and we were thrilled to find a place that offered both proximity to the race and a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The house exceeded our expectations. The pictures online do not do justice to the beautiful landscaping and serene lake views. It was truly magnificent, secluded, and provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed; we just had to bring our clothes. The kitchen had all necessary utensils and appliances for cooking meals, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the excellent communication from our host, Jeff. He provided clear instructions that made check-in seamless. We loved the seclusion and comfort of the house so much that we wished we could have stayed longer.

This was our first family trip camping (glamping) and it was very successful. The yurt was a great size and had bedding was comfortable. We explored and had many adventures. We slept cozy and thankful to have a fridge and beds when camping! Highly recommend and hope to return.

It was an amazing time with the kids/grandkids before school starts back. Had a wonderful time at the pier. Even though it rained a lot, we enjoyed the water and enjoyed sitting/fishing under the covered pier. Will definitely refer to family and friends. Please be aware that there is NO ladder for ease of getting out of the water and NO closets or drawers, Overall great time. Also it was great to be able to include Maggie, our dog, in our family gathering.

We had a great weekend at this beautiful Lake Wedowee home! The house was clean and well-stocked, and the host was very accommodating with our last-minute booking and late arrival. A representative met us and walked us through all the amenities. The basement had a fun bar area with ping pong and air hockey. The backyard had a gentle slope with a rock path down to the water, where we docked our boat for the weekend. The nearby boat launch was super convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the gas grill was a nice bonus. The hot tub was perfect after long days of fishing. The house is pet-friendly with a fenced area and deck gates to keep them safe while still enjoying the outdoors. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A hidden gem. I only know about it because I lived there 40 years ago. It is small but big enough to stay comfortably. The hostess was a gem too. Warm, friendly and made everyone feel at home. I highly recommend and hope to go back again.

My Husband and I host his for a yearly getaway and this was the perfect location. There was plenty of room, lots of activities and very private. We can’t wait to go back next year!!! Well worth the cost.

This is a beautiful big cabin right on the lake. Very spacious with many places to sit and enjoy quiet time or look at the beautiful scenery. Lack of any TV was troublesome for our family and when I asked for instructions on how to sign into the hosts streaming service, my email was not answered. DVDs and books were a blessing . The biggest issue for us was that the water went off at 8.30am on our check out morning so getting ready for our party of 9 and doing the exit clean was very challenging. I let the host know it happens because we were unable to flush a toilet upon leaving but they didn’t give reason why the water went off. Other than that we had a great stay in this beautiful well stocked cabin.

I had was a wonderful experience at the A-frame. This was a much needed getaway. I enjoyed sitting by the creek and enjoying the peaceful countryside. I spent the evening relaxing at the fire pit. All the firewood I needed was provided. The home very clean and was well stocked with all the essentials. I hope I get the pleasure of staying again in the future.

This was our second time staying and it was wonderful ! Wanted to get out of the city with my daughter and a couple of her friends to unwind and this place is perfect! The pool is great & the girls enjoyed watching their shows at night in the hot tub. Fire pit is a nice addition ( at least I don't remember it from last years visit ) The house as well as the outdoor spaces are comfortable & clean and allows privacy if wanted . The covered grill space off the front porch was great for the evening of rain we got . It's an easy quick trip into town and in Bowden the cafe Stellas was a great treat and shockingly affordable ( burgers, hot dogs & milkshakes ) . Highly recommend for a get away !
