Cottage holiday rentals in Quincy

We booked our stay for a couple of nights away for our family of 4. Talita and Vinny were very welcoming to their adorable place! The cottage is right on the water on the very clean and lovely lake. We had everything we needed and I loved the way the place was decorated. We really enjoyed the stand up paddle boards and the shaded seating area. Our kiddos (9 and 11) we very happy hanging in the hot tub and tossing bread to the blue gills. Good food options nearby - we really enjoyed George's Surf n' Turf. I recommend this stay and hope to be back in the future!

It was exactly what my family was looking for. It was relaxing and private. It allowed us to not feel cramped like a hotel stay, but allowed us to cook and enjoy the relaxing day. If you have a small kid, the golf cart is a must!

We had an absolute blast on our girls getaway weekend!! The cottage and community were amazing, exactly what we were hoping for and Doug couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He was always available by text or phone. The cottage was clean, nicely equipped, and a great location!! We will definitely be renting this cottage again on our next trip!!! Thanks for having us... we loved every minute!! 🧙🧙🧙

Other than you know, the bathroom not being fully cleaned. the house was perfect for our little vacation that we had with our family and we would come again in the owner's are very very nice and very responsive

This place truly gave "treehouse" vibes - with being up on a hill and with the big windows, it was a pleasure waking up here each morning to see all the trees with their autumn leaves. This is such a unique house - and it included all the amenities we needed. The location was also great and it was easy to get around and explore the area. 10/10 would stay here again!

The Cozy Cape in Smithfield, RI was exactly as depicted in the pictures. Truthfully, the reason I chose it to stay, was because it reminded me of my grandmother's house. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw the glass door knobs. Absolutely charming. Clean and bright, with a beautiful back yard and a slow moving creek. I wish I could have stayed longer.

My family loves Halloween. We wanted a historic cottage near the water and this was perfect. Bob was accommodating and kind and thought of everything. The home was cozy and inviting! Highly recommend.

Great place to stay in Scituate right in town and within walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Great communication with management. Would highly recommend !

I describe my stay at Hummingbird Cottage as Serendipitous. I was there a little over 2 weeks, and just a few days in, Ashley and I discovered that we surprisingly had a number of friend connections! The cottage's location provided easy access to family in Marshfield and on the Cape as well as friends outside of Boston. The listing doesn't show the kitchen, but I'd describe it as "efficient European apartment ", and Ashley includes so many amenities that you will feel welcomed immediately! Duxbury is a charming community with good restaurants, shops, conservation areas for walking and a beautiful beach. I look forward to a return visit!

This house is a true gem. The home is cozy and welcoming with lots of puzzles and family games to play. The pool is pristine and was so much fun to use. The beautiful trees and flowers provide nice shade and privacy around the pool while also feeling like you’re inside a pollinator garden. The home is an easy walk to front beach and bearskin neck where we enjoyed good restaurants and shops. Trenton and Cassie are great hosts- very responsive and friendly. We hope to stay here again!

The cabin was quaint and cozy. The view was spectacular! I would return again and again. Very clean and convenient for my needs at that time. Was visiting my friends daughter and her grandchildren. They were over for a visit and it was perfect for our get together.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy Cape Cod home! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, the space was incredibly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway and we made some really special memories here with our daughter. The home had everything we needed, and the peaceful setting made it easy to unwind and just enjoy being together. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming and welcoming place to stay on the Cape. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Location, location, location!! Gorgeous views, ocean breezes, and easy walking to shops and restaurants. We had a great time exploring the area and loved the beach cottage vibe. Aine was a perfect host, and made sure we had everything we needed. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Waking up to the sound of the ocean waves is amazing! Sitting in peace drinking my coffee watching them waves was even better! Shopping, restaurants and coffee shops are in walking distance!

This place exceeded our expectations & needs! The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier at a cost & we’re so glad we did. It was a beautiful location & set up. We enjoyed the special touches to make it feel welcoming. Thanks for the “extras” you offered incase we forgot to bring anything. Everything was great. Would most definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving at this beautiful beachside home. Spacious, lots of light, really clean, great place for walks, close to a nice supermarket. Had a great time and would love to stay again! AAA+

We loved this place. The location right on the water was perfect. The sunsets were amazing. Everything neat and clean. Great place to stay and we found so much to do and great places to eat in Ipswich and surrounding areas. We will definitely be back.

Rebecca could not have been a more gracious host. In the days leading up to our stay she was responsive to questions and had lots of recommendations. When we got there she had some gifts and flowers waiting and the house was exactly as advertised. Additionally, we had a medical issue and had to leave a bit early and she was extremely accommodating of our change in plans. Would definitely stay there again.
