Superb house like no other in the Dordogne valley: on the square of a listed village, built in the 15th century, wood panelling from the 18th century, giant stone staircase and stone walls, big fireplaces... A lot of history packed in a spacious (1700 ft 2) house equipped with all the modern conveniences. Large bedrooms with each its bathroom. Ideally located to visit the area, Padirac, Rocamadour... Also close to shops and restaurants. Bed linen, towels, wifi and cleaning fees included.

The Boulevard in Beaulieu

An ancient exterior, a modern interior. Our house was built on the ancient fortification wall of the Abbey. These 12th century walls are a feature throughout the house, and keep it cool in summer and warm in winter. All rooms have plenty of natural light, quality furniture, and all the homely comforts you need on your holiday. Only a 5 minute stroll to the river, 1 minute to bakeries and the village centre. The 11th century Abbey is behind our house, so only a short walk to go and explore.

Our cottage "Le séchoir de Louradour" welcomes you all year round. Underfloor heating and air conditioning provide comfort in any season. On one level, adjoining a large terrace and a large enclosed space, this cottage is suitable for young children. Ideally located, our cottage is less than 20 km from 8 of the most beautiful villages in France, Rocamadour (30 km), caves and chasms (Padirac) and the Dordogne river. On site: the Neanderthal site and departure for hikes and walks.

Our cosily renovated cottage nestles at the bottom of the hamlet of Fleuret with stunning views over the valley to the medieval village of Curemonte. Fully renovated with many original features, our gite offers comfortable accommodation for up to 4 with private garden with terrace and pergola for al fresco dining, as well as a large swimming pool and games room shared with guests in Fleuret House. We live discretely on site and are always on hand to help during your stay.

Access to the Dordogne is 500 meters from the cottage. Rated 3* furnished tourist accommodation since 2012. The cottage is not suitable for PRM standards.
