What a wonderful place and experiences! It is magnificient

Loved, loved, LOVED our stay here! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. We tried both restaurants quite a bit, and the food was always amazing. All the people who work there are so kind and friendly. They are super responsive and helpful, my friend got food poisoning and they helped a lot by bringing bananas and bread up to the room! Perfect location near the dock and the nature reserve to swim in. Magical place!

The house is small and the oldest style of the area. This is not a criticism, on the contrary, that allowed us to live a pleasant experience while visiting Xela. Elizabeth was very pleasant and the stay was welcoming and welcoming. The typical breakfast was everything we expected and their hospitality really deserves an opportunity. It is close to the central park, while there is no parking, Elizabeth supports for guests to park in either of the two locations near the house. Definitely a good place to be while visiting Xela.

this stay in Totonicapán was truly something unique and life changing. Carlos and his whole family are pillars of their community who strongly advocate for the preservation of the local K'iche cultural and linguistic heritage, artistry, and traditional agrarian lifestyle. While I was with the Chaclan family, I felt so honored to bear witness to the traditions of their community, and their eager willingness to introduce me to their way of life was something unlike I had ever experienced beforehand. after this visit, I plan to come back to Totonicapán periodically to further study the area. I encourage any visitor to the Guatemalan highlands curious about the local traditions to book a stay with this family, as they will ensure you are taken care of as a member of their own household, and provide you with information about anything on the area that piques your curiosity.

Rocio’s place was a beautiful retreat right on the lake. Stunning views from the bedroom, bathroom, and rooftop area. Super private and great place for some R&R. We took full advantage of all there was to offer (kayaking, massages, private cook). This place will forever be a memorable place for us as we got engaged at the rooftop of the property. All of the staff were amazing and very helpful, especially Edgar! We had a few meals made for us which were really tasty. 10/10 experience.

Don’t wait, BOOK NOW! You won’t regret it, it’s so beautiful & peaceful. A 5 minute walk to their farm full of animals: llamas, chickens, goats, pigs,etc. for free! You also get breakfast included & the people are so attentive & nice. Waking up to the sunrise thru the clear windows is something you have to experience. They have so many activities & a great restaurant too.

Perfect place for exactly what I needed! Comfy bed and great wifi! The hosts are also incredibly lovely people. So great to talk to. And they cooked an amazing breakfast with coffee in the morning! They were also very helpful with everything I needed during my stay. I highly recommend this place :)

Excellent place to stay in San Juan la lagoa. They make you feel at home!! They were wonderful and very attentive to the accommodation access to the lake, leaves you and they come to bring the boats and in the village it is very easy to walk, in addition there are very nice restaurants and bars along the way. Includes breakfast that is very rich and kayak is a plus!! Totally recommended
