Holiday rentals with a kayak in Quechee, Hartford

In a word: Wow! This is a dream home in just the perfect location. Whether you love Lake Dunmore, or are visiting for the first time, you will simply adore this lovely lakefront home. Beyond comfortable, immaculate, and oh-so charming. How wonderful to wake up and go for a swim or a paddle on the lake. Maureen is an exemplary host! We wish we could’ve stayed longer, and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at Jonathan's place at a pretty much perfect time of year. The views were incredible! The home had a ton of character, and somehow managed to be cozy despite being huge. The view from the shower/bath did not get old! We would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a getaway.

Beautiful and spacious home. Everything was clean and at any point I would message Denise she would respond right away. The area was beautiful as well. I would definitely book her home again.

Perfect place for our Labor Day weekend getaway! Direct access to the water, and accommodated our large group with everything we needed !

Philips place was literally perfect! The location, the awesome house filled with super cool art, the cozy feel of the house, the amazing outdoor area we had available to us all made this a perfect experience! Philip was great with communications and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay in this area of VT. My dad and I were up there for a quick 2 day stay. We'll both be returning with our significant others to vacation there and will absolutely be coming here in the future whenever we travel to this area!!!

We had a great time in Vermont and the home was exactly as described. Absolutely beautiful and central to many activities. Alexandra was very responsive whenever I had any questions about the area. Would definitely recommend!

Kat’s house on Dana road was the perfect place for our vacation to Vermont. Our family appreciated the clear instructions, helpful hints, and well thought out amenities. We really liked the Whisper Hill products in the bathrooms and made sure we went to the store in Quechee to buy some of the lotion before we left. We have stayed at a lot of AirBnB’s, but the house on Dana road was the most well equipped out of all of our stays!

What an absolutely beautiful home!!!! I booked this A frame for a girls trip to celebrate our friend getting married. We were all in awe of this home. The decor was unique and very fun, the home was spotless and cozy, and the location was private and offered a complete immersion into nature. None of us wanted to leave! We will definitely be planning a trip back to the A frame!

Siding was very communicative throughout the entire process. My family enjoyed the cottage to ring in the New Year together. We had such a peaceful time. The house was just as described. We were lucky with weather and were able to enjoy a New Year’s Eve hike with great views

The location is peaceful and beautiful. Loved having our morning coffee on the dock overlooking the lake and autumn leaves. Enjoyed kayaking to Paddlers Pub for drinks & food. The cottage is very cozy and just enough space for 2 people.

Exceeded all my expectations. The property was the perfect escape for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. One of the standout features was the private fire pit, where we spent every evening roasting marshmallows and making s’mores under the stars. The owners really thought of everything. They provided kayaks for us to explore the calm waters at our leisure, which became a daily adventure. The house itself was immaculate, tastefully decorated with a rustic-chic vibe, and equipped with all the modern comforts you could ask for. Highly recommend!

5 stars is not enough for how wonderful our stay was! The area was so quiet and peaceful right on the water and everything inside was clean and tidy. You could tell everything was clean, especially the linens which smelled like fresh laundry. We got rained out one of the days but still enjoyed our time thoroughly. Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful property, highly recommend! Ian and Steph were communicative and friendly and helpful, and the location right on Tinmouth Pond is gorgeous.

The little white cottage was lovely with everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing weekend. Like every other weekend this spring...it rained...but the cottage was still bright and cheery. So much to do , see, and eat so close by. We'll be back!

Colin's house was a super cozy lake house, beautifully decorated with the lake and water in mind with family vacation coziness in mind. Lots of beds and fully equipped for 8 people. The location is amazing. Super quiet on a dirt road directly down to a lake where we went swimming, kayaking and pedal boating (kayaks and pedal boat were part of the property). We had some memorable family days and would rent Colin's lake house again if we come back to New Hampshire. Love New England!

Relaxing by a lake who can ask for anything better. Away from Sunapee but a very quick drive to visit the downtime if you want. Lots of space upstairs to enjoy also. Recommend for a peaceful stay in the area.

We had a great time studying at the Treehouse! Our kids loved the kids room and the whole place had a very cozy vibe. Location to skiing and downtown options was great!

Absolutely amazing stay! the cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we needed. The bed and linens were super comfortable and we slept like babies. Truly the perfect escape. Highly recommend!!!

Our stay at James's cottage was a great experience in a beautiful location right on Lake Morey. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed from a well-appointed kitchen to the large screened in porch to the outdoor decks, dock and raft. The cottage faces west, looking out across the lake, which afforded us some beautiful sunsets. There was ample room for five of us to play board games or to find a quiet place to read a book or to kayak, swim and fish. James was an excellent host; he was very prompt and responsive with his communications. We had a wonderful family vacation and would definitely consider returning there in the future.

Great stay at Grateful Ledge! Audrey and Josh were excellent hosts, and were very responsive and communicative throughout our stay. The home was clean, open layout, modern and very comfortable. All the comforts of home including a new Weber grill. Off the beaten path with a private and peaceful location. Would stay again.

We came for our daughter’s Dartmouth graduation and this home was perfect for our large family. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it had everything we needed. I would DEFINITELY recommend!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Russ's cabin. It was spacious, and the interior was lovely with a natural, pleasant smell of wood. The amenities were new and well-equipped, and the mattresses were very comfortable. The area was quiet and beautiful. We also really enjoyed having dinner at Homestyle Hotel's restaurant, which is a 15 15-minute drive from the cabin—every dish we ordered was so delicious. Wholeheartedly recommend staying at Russ's place!

The setting is quiet and lovely, and the screened porch is a gem.
