Holiday houses in Quan Lan

The room was nice. It was clean with good Air con. Bathroom was small but adequate and clean as well. Be prepared for stairs. The breakfast was great.

We loved our stay on this floating home. The peaceful location on the water watching the birds fly around, villagers boating around, and the fish jump was exceptional. The care of Linh and his wife Ha made us feel like family. They are so kind and attentive. And Linh is an amazing chef- the food was five stars! One of our favorite experiences!

The space was adequate for our needs. It is cozy and attractive outside; you can see the lights from the small balcony, yet it is refreshing to have a cup of coffee. The toilet and bathroom are really clean. Overall, we enjoyed staying at his property and will definitely return.

Quiet and cozy location, warm hospitality, very nice private room (tidy and clean). The host helped me a lot and quickly for any inquiries I had, for example looking for a way to go back to Hanoi. They have cars from the homestsystay to Hanoi (but be sure to book in advance) or a bus stop to the main destinations just 2km away. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend a relaxing vacation 👍

It is a hidden gem in Halong Bay. The surroundings are free of tourists, offering a wonderful opportunity to see local people living their quiet lives. It’s so peaceful to hear the bell ringing from a church on top of the hill. For a moment, you feel like you’re in the best place in the world. There are no real drawbacks, though during our stay, there was a celebration at a local school or community center. It started exactly at 7 a.m., and we could hear all the songs and speeches. But despite this, the stay was truly perfect! We are deeply grateful to the wonderful hosts!

We stayed twice at Thuy’s place, on our way to and from Cat Ba. We arrived early in Ha Long and Thuy let us check in a few hours earlier than expected. We were invited to her house for dinner, however due to both of our schedules it didn’t get to happen, but we appreciated her offer! The room has a smart TV which let us login for some Netflix comforts after a busy week. The location is great! Close to many cafes and restaurants, and the water which provides a beautiful view. Thuy was incredibly friendly, very quick to reply and gave us some tips for things to see while we were there, including the ferry for getting to Cat Ba. We would definitely stay here again, and for longer!

Had a great time at Minh’s. Food was lovely and he has lots of knowledge of the island and helped us arrange onward travel. Would definitely stay again.
