You’ll love our place because of the hiking trails, waterfalls, quiet solitude, forest views, 15 minutes to the beach, golf, fishing and kayaking, 15 minutes to Qualicum Beach townsite. Home away from home with all amenities, high ceilings, the views, the location, and the ambiance. Half way between Courtenay and Nanaimo. Good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Dogs allowed upon request. Must be crated if left in the cottage alone. We request no cats - allergies.

Sunshine Coast Studio Suite Overlooking the Water

Relax + unwind in our cozy guest suite w an amazing view of the water. You won't find another rental on the coast like ours. There're walking trails just outside our door & it's a 5 min drive (45 min walk) to a great trail walk at Smuggler's Cove. We have a SMALL KITCHENETTE and NO STOVE more details about the kitchen below. The dock is completely off limits & not part of the rental. If you are caught using it on camera you will be asked to leave the rental immediately. No smoking at all.

Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 minutes to downtown Courtenay, 10 minutes to the turn off for Mount Washington.
