Situated in a small hamlet just outside the historic town of Domfront in the Normandy countryside this lovely holiday home consists of a large kitchen diner with fireplace and a lounge with a fireplace with wood burner on the ground floor. On the first floor are two light and airy en-suite double bedrooms, one has bunk beds. All rooms have views of the large garden that surrounds the property with several seating areas and a graveled terrace for outside dining. Plunge pool available in summer.

Located in Swiss-Normandy, the Gîte de la Source is located in a very quiet countryside and is located in a beautiful farmhouse (with chickens, cats, dog), 2 km from Falaise, birthplace of William the Conqueror where his castle is located. The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

Our accommodation (13 people max) is close to Caen (25 minutes) and the sea in a very beautiful countryside of the pre-bocage in Normandy. Easy access by car, train and airport. You will love our place because of its beauty, countryside, rest, horses (horseback riding possible), massages and indoor heated pool. Ideal for families of 4–10 people. The 4th bedroom is a very large hallway, so I very often put an extra bedroom in the annex for more comfort.

Spend the night in a Yurt, in the Normand "Bocage", known for its landscape of orchards. The bathroom, kitchen and WC are separate units. We also have a few sheeps, a vegetable garden, and chickens. 1 hour from "Mont Saint Michel and 15mn from the spa town of Bagnole de l'Orne.
