We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back. Made was so welcoming and professional - he also assisted with ordering dinner to our villa from a nearby restaurant which had the best food ever! Definitely a must stay, awesome view hidden in the jungle.

What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

This villa was perfect for our stay in Ubud! Peaceful and quiet but still close to the action. The private pool was a godsend on hot Ubud days. Kadek was a really helpful, friendly host: he arranged early check-in for us, transported our suitcase to the villa and sorted a scooter rental for our stay. He also provided super useful extras like plenty of insect repellant and emergency phone numbers. The villa is just off a strip of restaurants, so food is never far away, and it’s only a half an hour walk to central Ubud. We’d happily recommend this place to any couple!

Very nice accomodation with 2 cute waterfalls nearby. You can order food by messenger from restaurants since it is a little bit remote.

What an incredible stay. Great communication from the get go, very attentive and organised for us an evening massage. The accommodation is as stunning as the pictures make out. Over looking Ubud jungle making you feel at one with nature. Accompanied by the sound track of the smaller local waterfall and all jungle critters was an experience to remember. Everything was very clean and tidy , our host was incredibly welcoming and helped us arrange travel for the following morning. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape the busy streets and ‘want a ride’ chaos. To relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Be advised however the track to the larger waterfall can be slippery, so sensible footwear to be advised or just take it slow - but a great view once you get there

The house itself is beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and the pool was a fantastic bonus. We really enjoyed the space overall. One downside was that the shared living room is in a separate building, and with only one key, it made things tricky when different people wanted to use it. The area to the right felt safe and walkable, but to the left, we didn’t feel as comfortable exploring, so we stuck to one side. The staff were lovely—friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The chef/housekeeper was also very kind and clearly meant well, but she was a bit too involved for us. She often asked where we were going, who we were with, and when she could come back. While it may be cultural, we had booked the place for privacy, so it didn’t quite suit our needs. There were only three of us, so the key situation for the bedrooms worked fine, but if two people were sharing a room, one key might not be ideal. Thank you, we had an excellent stay, everything was as described, beds super comfortable, bathrooms spotless, living area and pool amazing. All communication was great. Gede was very friendly and helpful, surroundings very private and peaceful with a short drive to Lovina. Also easy to order Gogek. Would not hesitate to recommend and would like to return again.

As so many have said before, this is a magical, enchanted place that offers an unforgettable experience to nature lovers and/or people who are sensitive to the special energy of Bali. The premises are vast and unique with an unusual temple complex right in the middle. The views from the cabin and the common area (bale structure for eating) are breathtaking. Each evening, just before sundown, we heard the village priest's chanting and gamelan orchestra, including a flute that sounded like it came from another world, travelling over from across the valley. If you're into this kind of thing, go next door, down to the river, for a special guided water purification ritual (melukat). Yes, communication was sometimes a bit tricky, but the staff are all so friendly and helpful, things always worked out. The place was squeaky clean, considering it's in the middle of the jungle. Food was thoughtfully cooked and pesented. We loved our time in Sangeh, suksma to everyone!

The Villa is located about two and half hours from the airport and the large resorts. If you want to experience Bali the way it was before being loved to death, this villa will exceed your expectations. We were met by a driver with a comfortable SUV at the airport who transferred us to the villa. The driver and vehicle were available the entire time. It is my understanding that being taken close by did not have a cost. Having the driver take you around the island for the day had an additional cost. Confirm this with Susi. Balian beach and a few restaurants are located about ten minutes away. The staff kept the villa clean, and provided fresh towels. Breakfast was included, lunch and dinner, prepared by the staff are for sale from a menu. My wife and I purchased wine at the airport and stopped at a grocery store on the drive to the villa. The pictures of the villa are an accurate representation. Had toy's for young children. We are taking home a memorable experience.

This was the very first stop on our honeymoon, and we had a lovely stay! From the very start, communication was very clear and the hosts helped set us up with romantic decoration and airport pick up, as well as massages in the villa. The location is a little ways away from the chaos of Canggu but still very accessible. The dome itself was very unique and romantic, as was the whole property - a nice secluded slice of paradise.

Wir waren für eine Nacht in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Sie war perfekt für Erholung. Es gab gratis Trinkwasser und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben auch die Möglichkeit genutzt, über sie Abendessen zu bestellen. Das gesamte Team war sehr nett und half uns ebenfalls, den Weitertransport zu organisieren. Es muss einem nur klar sein, dass es weiter weg vom nächsten Ort ist und mitten in der Natur ist.

The room is clean and tidy. You can hear nature sounds from outside. The sunrise is beautiful as the window faces east. The staff are friendly and help with our luggage.

We had a truly beautiful and peaceful stay at The Hidden Well in Medewi. The location is perfect—tucked away right on the beach, offering a tranquil escape while still being close to town and the famous surf breaks. The villa had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and we loved that there were great restaurants just a short walk or drive away. A special thanks to the wonderful local family who helps run the property—they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our time there. We highly recommend joining the cooking class and buffalo walk—both were such unique and memorable experiences. Narina has also done an incredible job organizing everything with clear, detailed information that made everything so easy.

The Cove is amazing!! Beautiful views and pool, delicious food, many amenities, and a friendly, efficient staff! We had a great time! I highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The location is amazing, surrounded by lush jungle and the cabin is stocked with everything you need. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the food at the lodge was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Home & staff were amazing! Polite, respectful, helpful, attentive, & accommodating. Big shout out to Putu, the house manager, she’s a rock star! You can tell this home is her domain & she takes pride in what she does. PSA - If you’re ever in Bali in general, but also at this home, & need transportation, be sure to reach out to Wiskey! Notre séjour chez Spencer s’est déroulé admirablement. Nous étions très tristes de devoir partir. Notre fille a d’ailleurs décidé d’y revenir quelques jours plus tard tellement l’endroit est inoubliable. La maison domine des rizières qui sculptent magnifiquement le paysage. Une plage immense et déserte se trouve juste derrière un rideau de palmier à quelques centaines de mètres. Le bruit de l’océan ajoute à cette ambiance paradisiaque. La maison, construite dans des matériaux traditionnels, est spacieuse et confortable. Les petits déjeuners copieux et variés, comme les dîners préparés par la cuisinière de Spencer, étaient tout simplement délicieux. Notre séjour était trop court et nous reviendrons sans hésiter si nous en avons l’occasion (aussi pour parler un peu plus de rugby 😉). Nous n’oublierons jamais cette parenthèse enchantée dans nos vies. Encore merci pour l’accueil dont nous avons bénéficié.

Great little secluded spot for a quiet few days in the jungle setting. Would recommend a short stay for sure. Beautiful little tree house with a relaxed vibe and the hosts made the most amazing breakfasts and couldn’t do any more to help.
