As our first trip to cuba we could not have picked a better place to spend the first night. We, plus all our luggage, we are travelling by bicycle, were collected at the airport door. A warm and informative welcome. Malvis and her family could not have been more welcoming and helpful. A great breakfast to send us on our way too. An unforgettable experience with Patricia and her family! Patricia, her husband, her mom, and Gabriel were incredibly kind and patient, both to me and to my guests. They were always on the lookout for what we needed, making us feel at home. Gabriel even did us the great favor of taking us to our next accommodation, something we really appreciated. The house was impeccable, the service was excellent and the treatment of Diego —my son— was as if he were part of their own family. They had a lot of details with us. Patricia washed our clothes at the last minute, even though we forgot to ask for it in time, and not only that: my son washed his sneakers and she made sure they were dry for the next day, just before we left. In addition, he gave us many mangos and provided us with kitchen items such as sugar, salt and other details that make all the difference. She says she has no family abroad... but now she has family in Mexico!
