We love the place and it’s close to the town centre. The house is so relaxing and thr playground in the backyard is a wee paradise for kids. Would recommend for sure!

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

Drew and Sally were the sweetest! They made the effort to meet us when we arrived, showed us around and explained how certain items worked. Their pantry was full and they provided us milk, a loaf of bread, and farm fresh eggs which we enjoyed a lot! There were two rooms: the first was with one big bed suitable for a couple, and the second room was huge and housed 4 beds comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay and Koa, the friendliest dog was a bonus! Before we left, we requested for a short tour around the farm and understood the sustainable practices that the family is so passionate about. We cannot thank you enough, Drew and Sally, we hope to be back someday!

Thank you Simon for offering this incredible space. I stayed for one night with my partner and we both absolutely loved it. It has everything you need, new washer / dryer, fully furnished and modern kitchen, warm heat pump and an very comfortable bed but beyond this, it has an intangible cozy feeling with the wood fire and my favourite outdoor bathtub. The home was very warm and it was -6 degrees outside. The bathtub was the cherry on top. Very hot and spacious, easily fitting 2 guests. Awesome contrast with the cold outside. Simon as a host was fantastic. Responded fast to any questions we had. Simon went out of his way to help melt the water that had frozen the bath taps, checking multiple times on the day of our visit. Really appreciated that as I feel other hosts would’ve left it frozen. Cheers Simon!

Great location to stay at when travelling between Christchurch and Queenstown - the unit was spacious and very well maintained and host was very responsive, will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s place. We loved all of the details and the interesting art, books and furniture. It felt really homely and there were lots of helpful and thoughtful touches. The beds were all really comfortable with lovely fresh linen. Jan was an incredible host who really made sure that our stay was enjoyable. She was accommodating with a few last minute changes and always responded to messages promptly. We will definitely be booking a stay at Jans the next time we are in Otematata.

Gaye was friendly and responsive. We arrived early and he was flexible and allowed us to check in early. This was our last night before heading back to Christchurch. It was a restful stay.

I wished we had stayed for more than a night. My family really had a great stay at Lu Lu’s place. Lu Lu has been very accommodating and positively responsive with our inquiries. The place is very neat and cozy, complete utilities and really great for families. Only a few minutes away from Lake Tekapo with a guaranteed beautiful views outside deck. Definitely recommended and would love to go back there again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The place itself was spacious, beautifully set up, and had all the amenities we needed — and more. It felt like a home away from home. On our first night, we experienced a snowstorm, and we were so grateful that the heating worked perfectly. A special highlight for my kids was the log burner — it was their first time seeing one, and they loved the cozy experience! Having a garage was a huge bonus — we didn’t have to worry about digging out our rental car the next morning. And the view from the balcony of the lake was stunning, especially with everything covered in snow. What made it even more special was the large open space at the back where our kids had the best time playing in the snow. It was such a joy to watch. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay — everything was perfect! Would highly recommend and would love to come back someday.

We loved our stay at Rachel’s, it was the perfect re-set during our South Island roadtrip. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook a meal. The place was cozy and welcoming. I’d highly recommend!

Great place to stay and a beautiful location.

This was a nice little place and had everything, even a heater which was much needed since it was snowing. Only a short drive to the lake and all the restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone who’s in lake Tekapo for a few days, would love to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay, everything was as described and the apartment was spacious and it was easy to go to the eatery next door for dinner.

I had the most peaceful time spending 5 days here. The view was superb, it was peaceful enough for me to read all day and sleep. Condo was clean. Had everything you need inside. The eatery/ pub staff were friendly. Wetland walk was beautiful. Small little beautiful town. Will definitely be back for a birthday week away next year. Thank you.

We had a great experience stay in here, great location and easy to find a restaurant around main street can do by walk around 10 to 15 minutes or around 3 minutes by car.

This is my second stay here. Its a great place to come back to after a day at work. Having the pub at the front gives you options for a good meal if you don't feel like cooking it yourself

We had such a lovely stay here! So clean and spacious, nice and cool during the hot days and evenings. Was a great layout for us and our little kids, had everything we needed and Loretta was so friendly and accommodating. We would stay again!
