All staff and accommodations and Samasati Rainforest Bungalows were very polite, professional, and attentive. They were extremely communicative and excellent hosts. The resort stands on it's own on top of a mountain overlooking the rainforest and Puerto Viejo below. The restaurant on site was very convenient as well as the 24 hour access to the pool and jacuzzi. To those looking at booking here, do know that this is spot is deep in nature. You will encounter all kinds of wildlife from frogs, snakes, spiders, guatusa, birds, monkeys, and more. If that isn't your thing, look elsewhere. We absolutely loved being away from the busy town and beaches so this was perfect for us. Falling asleep to rain hitting the roof in the dense forest will be a cherished memory.🥰 Muchas gracias, Samasati and pura vida!

Hosting at Samasati Rainforest Bungalows was an unforgettable experience for our family. From the first moment, we felt a human warmth that exceeded our expectations. The attention was simply wonderful: always kind, respectful, attentive and willing to help us with everything we needed, even beyond what we could have imagined. The place is a real paradise. Surrounded by nature, with spectacular views, peace, tranquility and impeccable cleanliness, we feel in total harmony. The facilities are very well maintained and every corner transmits love. The food, delicious and prepared with dedication, was another of the great pleasures of the trip. We want to highlight the excellent work team, a group of loving, helpful, dedicated and really special people. His attention was from another level. They made us feel right at home, and it's impossible not to carry them in our hearts. We will come back, not just because we promised, but because we 💕

It was an amazing experience, all what I was expected and even above and beyond. Also specially with the personnel working in the facilities, it was great to find out you are not just a guest but you can feel like home because of that human touch. Omar is a wonderful person. Super knowledgeable of all the nature, marine life, plants and trees. The most welcoming and warm person you could meet. I felt so safe staying with Omar. What a special person! He’s the guy to stay with if you visit manzanillo. His home is really beautiful, full of the best nature Costa Rica can offer. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. With Dalma and her husband, 5 stars are actually not enough. The two welcomed us warmly and everything was well prepared (including a homemade welcome drink in the fridge). The cottage is lovingly furnished and is just on the border of Cahuita-Natiolpark. A little dream with wonderful hosts. From us there are 10 out of 5 stars!

Cabin built with a great taste, super comfortable, with all amenities, easily accessible, excellent location, with a large green area for enjoyment. Both Rolando and host as well as their manager Sharon were always attentive that our stay was very pleasant and of great enjoyment and were aware of any needs we required, super recommended this stay. Above and beyond service. Udson and his wife were exceptional! They went out of their way with anything I needed. Wifi was great. Hot water was awesome. A bit of a walk to shops and things but that was the best part! Some of the jungle insects do linger about. So be prepared. It's their home, we are the intruders..LOL But nothing any outdoor enthusiast would mind. Awesome neighbors too!

The location of the Airbnb is great if you want to be in a quiet place (there is little going on in Punta Uva). The apartment is located directly on the beach (across the street). There are few neighbors who are not always there, everything is Airbnbs. We found the apartment clean, spacious, it had everything we needed. The communication was great, the hosts are very courteous and nice, quick to respond. We would come again!

It was a very unique experience. There’s no cell service or wifi so you will need to leave the property to communicate with hosts or in general. We did love staying there and it was a very nice quiet getaway with lots of nature to connect to. There is a waterfall nearby but we found out through locals that the specific waterfall talked about it in the Airbnb is not safe without a tour guide due to robbings and assaults. I would suggest looking at the Google reviews. There are other waterfalls further out that are probably better to visit. We did do the chocolate tour nearby with the Bri Bri and it was a lot of fun. An outdoor shower would have been amazing to have at this property due to how beautiful the property is. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts and Grethel were very kind and responsive.

Lynch was a great host. He was very kind and patient. Even though I accidentally ran over his water connection, severing it. He didn't even get upset, just remained calm and took care of it. A lot of respect to him for this.

This stay was an adventure for us! We will miss rocking gently to sleep in the comfy hanging bed, waking with the incredible sounds of birds and howler monkeys, watching agouti and chacalaca rove through the yard, and seeing aracari, oropendola and toucans in the trees around us. The kitchen was our favourite ever, with the folding shutters opened to the outdoors, gas stove and hanging out on the barstools, or the various other seating areas on the spacious covered deck. We enjoyed the original design of the cabin in beautiful materials and with many cute details. The beach is a short walk away, through a lush quiet residential road. The outdoor shower is a must for sand management 😄 The indoor shower is great, hot water and nice bathroom. Yes, you are living half outdoors (geckos and insects are part of the adventure) but in great style. We loved being here! Tip: the margaritas at the Reggae Bar down the road are wicked good!

Great little wooden cottage, more charming than the pictures! It is bigger than we thought, the beds are of good quality, and the environment is exceptional: the very quiet beach is 2 minutes walk and we can observe a very rich wildlife from the living room (toucans, agoutis...). Super Negro (= large and quality supermarket) a short drive away. We wish we could have stayed longer, it's a real haven of peace ☮️
