This place was exactly what I had hoped for on our family vacation visiting the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado. We had an amazing time! Our stay was wonderful and we can’t say enough about how much we appreciate the hospitality and experiences that Justin, as well as Yeri and his family helped us to enjoy!

Nancy is great host. We had the luck to meet her in person. The place is nice and well equiped. I love the bathroom style :)

We really enjoyed the days at Keyla's. The place is absolutely perfect for a stay in Puerto Jiménez. Slightly secluded on the main road and walking distance to all the important places and restaurants. The washing machine on the property is a blessing, especially after a trip to Corcovado NP. Thanks a lot!

Great place. You need to have a car to move around, but quick and easy access everywhere. Huge place... Good internet.

We stayed here for one week during our two week honeymoon. Drake bay appealed to us because of Corcovado and unspoiled natural surroundings of the Drake Bay Area. The Airbnb is in a fantastic location, situated just outside of Drake Bay. It felt very private, right on the beach. The property is beautiful, we loved being visited by scarlet macaws and white face monkeys. Our host, Alexis, was absolutely phenomenal. She helped with all our tour bookings, local recommendations and checking in each day to see if we needed anything. Alexis went above and beyond, and was the best host we’ve ever encountered. I would highly recommend staying at La Joyita, it’s a little piece of paradise that we will remember forever.

We stayed at Diana's for one night before an early morning trip to Corcovado - the place is perfect, easy to get to and walkable from all local shops and the dock. Diana also let us keep our car safely locked up at the property until after we had checked out, so we could pick it up after the tour! would definitely recommend

We found a Gem in the Famous Surf Town of Pavones :) Villa Cocoon is a delightful place just 7 min walk to the Wave. Beautiful Interior design with everything you need to spend the weekend or longer stays. We have been waiting for a place like this in Pavones for a long time 🙌🏻

Paz is a special place and Roberto is a wonderful host. The floor to ceiling screens in the living room/dining room situate you right in the secondary forest. Heaven for nature loving bird nerds. If you’ve spent time on the Osa before, you know Howler monkeys wake you at 4:30am. We watched howler, spider, and squirrel monkeys from bed. The beach is a minute walk. A covered porch with hammocks and chairs to enjoy the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. And a small pool to cool off in (key) and watch Macaws, capuchin monkeys, hermit crabs & the waves. We bought groceries in Puerto Jimenez and cooked most of meals for the week. Kitchen has big fridge, sharp knives, and worked well for us. Marluna Lodge (5 min drive) for Taco Tuesday. Visited local surf breaks and surfed the right point break out front of Paz. Tide dependent. Roberto can help you figure it out. Roberto was very attentive, warm, and helpful. He’s created a beautiful space in a beautiful part of the world.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to unwind and truly be together as a family. The animal life was incredible. We woke up to monkeys in the morning and playing throughout the day just outside the house. Both john and Oscar were super helpful and friendly. And if you have a chance to have Jackson’s cook- she was incredible. If you’re in for a rustic, full of nature, full family time then this is your place! Also don’t miss out on scheduling a horseback ride with Carlos at finca tropical! It surpassed our expectations and my husband used to guide horseback rides in Colorado. Enjoy the time together and this charming place in Cabo matopalo!

The house is very nice, well cared for and everything is very tidy. Lea was very friendly and helped me with all my questions. We were a group of 7 and the house is too comfortable and safe.

Raquel's place was fantastic!! Big beautiful house, AC worked great in the room and having the pool was a huge plus! It was so awesome to jump in there after a long hot day exploring Corcovado. The surroundings are beautiful and you can catch a great sunset from the upper deck as well as check out all kinds of cool birds in the morning. Raquel and her brother are super nice and responsive. She even booked our tour to the national park for us. Highly recommend!

Great place nearby to local surf breaks, 10 min walk with a board to pan dulce. House is nice and is entirely bug netted and open to the breeze which is very nice. Peter also gave us coconut from the property which was awesome. Recommended

The house is identical to the photos, the pool with its terrace and grill is great for a pleasant time. Very spacious kitchen with basic implements. The hostess is super friendly and attentive to our queries. A place to definitely come back!

Great stay! Amanda met us upon arrival and was very friendly and showed us around. AC worked great and bathroom was clean with clean towels. Looks just like the pictures, with wildlife surrounding the whole property, and some walking trails. It was a beautiful spot and a truly unique stay. Thank you for having us Amanda!

We really liked the place. The house is private, safe, comfortable and the location is very good. If you are looking to travel to Corcovado (like us) it is quite central. The beaches are also close by. The only thing is that the place is very hot and the two rooms behind do not get air conditioning. Nothing that can't be fixed by moving the mattresses to the living room😜. It was also very convenient that I had a washing machine and clothesline. Overall we really liked it and look forward to coming back! Thank you.🙏

This is an incredible location, really in the forest and a steep walk to get to but you feel alone and adventurous. There was a thriving community of paths and treehouses here once which is quickly being covered by the jungle and this adds to the mystique. the house itself is wonderfully light, spacious and comfortable. some of the other, older treehouses are really dark and deep in the forest . we will try to return

Rebeca and Thom were excellent, they welcomed us even in the rain, we were toured around the house they gave us recommendations and invited us to know the property, and even invited us to some homemade snack. The estate is 600 meters from a hidden beach, very alone and bathed in nature, walking to the beach itself is an experience... I would not say that it is a quiet beach, but sitting to read and listen to the sea is something magical We had a May bumblebee invasion, the house is quite sealed, however some manage to pass, so if you had apiphobia, it's good to take that into account... The construction is beautiful, the house is made to enjoy the view both inside and outside it, the gardens are beautiful and even have a nursery on the property, there are almonds very close to the houses so you are likely to enjoy daily visits of lapas. I recommend thousand this place, thank you guys ppor to take such care of this slice of paradise!

A total immersion in nature in the desired comfort. Not too much or too little. We were not bothered by the bugs and it was reassuring that all the beds had screens. Our hosts were welcoming while remaining discreet. The place is very quiet and we loved being able to walk on the private trails where we were able to see as many animals as in the park without having to organize a complicated expedition. The beach is safe and authentic, there were no tourists but friendly local families enjoying the beautiful scenery. The last day we saw a group of dolphins a few hundred yards away in the water! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everyone was very accommodating and made me feel right at home from the very beginning. I saw monkeys, a sloth and lots of colourful birds on the property. The bed was very comfortable along with the new pillows and linens. If you’re looking to get away from the city, relax and enjoy nature, I highly recommend the stay.
