Family-friendly holiday rentals in Puerto Escondido

This place has it all 🤩 just WOW! It is a short walk to the beach, close to everything and in the best area of Zicatela! Marco is super pet friendly, he welcomed us with our 3 dogs and was always very friendly with both them and us. Lupita, the person in charge of maintenance and cleaning, was always super responsive and friendly! Actually 1000/10! I would go back many more times!

Anna was a great host. The condo has everything you need for extended stays. There are two beautiful bathrooms with very nice showers, and two separate bedrooms. Also a laundry room, and a well made kitchen. The master bedroom, living room and kitchen all have beautiful ocean and sunrise views facing the bay. The pool and garden are both beautiful and are very nice to relax by. There is a store 3 minutes walking distance away, and playa manzanillo is 10 minutes walking distance away. You won't be disappointed with this place.

Linne was very communicative. The staff at the house was great and very friendly. The house is directly on the beach which is great for a morning swim!

We really enjoyed our stay at the bugambilia house, the house is beautiful and has a super location, in addition to being super clean all the time and the attention of Sofía and Mrs. Jose who we hired for breakfast and meals was spectacular, we definitely wanted to return home, space of the house that makes it unique, in addition the location is perfect for walking everywhere and above all very close to the beach.

We spent 10 wonderful days in La Punta. The house is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed cooking ourselves and visiting the nearby restaurants. The house has a great location, it takes about 10 minutes to the beach and to the many restaurants. The view from the many terraces is beautiful. We celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve there and really enjoyed our stay. Obed, the home manager and his wife were also exceptionally helpful and always available.

This place is dreamy! Waking up next to the beach is incredible. The whole house is very big excellent for groups or a romantic get away. A little far from town but that’s part of the charm. Lonely beaches and long walks along the beach at sunset are highly recommended. We hired the chef and her cooking saved the trip! Definitely chose that option, it is definitely necessary. There’s no AC but lots of fans are available. Highly recommend this place.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Lore was an incredible host: super friendly, flexible and genuinely pet friendly (which was very important to us). Her depa is super close to Bacocho beaches, Carrizalillo, etc... From the first moment she made us feel at home and quickly became our friend. One detail that we highly valued was that it allowed us to use its private pool, despite the fact that I was not required to do so. It was a super generous gesture that made our experience even more special! Also, we can't stop mentioning their restaurant, Mundaka which is super cool - we tried the best pizza of our lives there! Every bite was an unforgettable treat. Lore, thank you for everything, we miss you already. We are looking forward to CDMX! Greetings to Tamal, Maverick and Nico!

We were looking for a place that was quiet but close to the beach and restaurants. It was perfect. Two min walk to the beach. The place was bigger than the pictures made it look. The pool was great and one of the staff there brought us some delicious mangos one day. We would stay again.

This is one of our favorite airbnb's!!!! We've been here before and the place is MAGICAL! Jesucita who supports Cristina is a gem. If you run into any issues, resolve it. Highly recommended!!!!

We recently stayed at Mark's place in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were truly amazed and intrigued by what he has been building. The experience of living and spending the night in an open house is absolutely unique and adventurous, offering a perfect blend of nature and comfort. Although Mark was not there during our stay, he was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for exploring the area. The housekeeping is managed by a lovely family who are available from 9-5 every day, ensuring the place is always in perfect condition. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to be back one day to experience this remarkable place again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay in Puerto Escondido!

Beautiful views, lovely hammock and pool areas to hang out in, great apartment, very central location. Super friendly hosts who made us feel at home.

10/10. Perfect location. 3 min walk to puerto Angelita! 3 min walk to puerto Carrizilillo (could be spelling that wrong lol). Great restaurants that are 5-6 min walk (on the Rincanada - could be spelling that wrong too lol). We stayed for 8 nights and would definitely stay again. The host, Isabel, was great and definitely went above and beyond… even taking us to the airport! We were traveling with our 2 year old son and it was beyond helpful. All the residents that we met were great. A real cool guy named Sam gave us a bunch of great recommendations and even took us to go check out some local spots. What a great experience - until next time…

We had a great time at Martina's. The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. Communication worked out great and Martina was always available when there were questions. The Internet worked well, we were able to work with several people at the same time. What could still be improved: it would be good to have a lighter in the kitchen for the gas stove. It would be easier to charge the price for the air conditioning directly through Airbnb. It was a bit cumbersome to pay in cash and there was also a miscommunication regarding the price.

The penthouse was perfect for our visit to Puerto Escondido! Albert is the perfect host; he met us for our check in and was always available to answer any questions or recommendations in the area. The penthouse overlooks the ocean and is very clean and private with a comfortable outdoor space to relax and enjoy yourself. The pool was very clean and plenty of towels were provided. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that you would need for your time here. The beach below the penthouse is a ten minute walk away and the baby turtle release center was a twenty five minute walk away. A five minute walk from the penthouse found us on the Main Street where the choice of restaurants and bars were plenty. If I ever find myself returning to Puerto Escondido, I would stay here again!

Wonderful vacation. Amazing views. Can't say enough positive things about Katrin and her beautiful home. Very cozy place with open balconies, while appreciating the history of the building. If the nightly swim doesn't cool you off, the AC helps tremendously! We will definitely return to this location.

We were welcomed with such kindness by our host! The house was beautiful and our family enjoyed the pool, the beach, shops, restaurants, all within walking distance. We couldn’t have asked for a better location especially for the surf! Our hosts were so attentive and helpful and we felt like they were friends done the moment we met! Thank you! We spent 3 wonderful nights in Omar's beautiful Airbnb, who is a very kind host and always concerned about our well-being! This airbnb is very clean, the kitchen well equipped, the bedroom with 3 double beds is very large, air-conditioned and with very comfortable mattresses. There is another separate double bed with fans. The mural is very beautiful. My children loved the garden with trampoline and pool and its beautiful palm trees. This Airbnb is very well located, we did everything on foot! If we go back to Puerto Escondido, we'll come back here for sure!

Loved our stay at Nhis Be! Would totally come back and stay for any future visits to Puerto Escondido. The location is just up the hill from the most popular street in town. You’ll have and endless option of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and beach access. We utilized the rooftop, pool, gym, and our personal patio daily. The room was perfectly equipped with kitchen needs and a great size for two people. Could not recommend this spot more!
