Condo holiday rentals in Puako

We had a relaxing stay at the Mauna Lani Terrace Condos. It’s located adjacent to an ancient Hawaiian fishpond and the unit includes access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club (and a wonderful calm beach that’s great for swimming and snorkeling). One thing to keep in mind about this unit is that all bedroom and bathroom doors are actually screens (not solid) and it’s rather dark in the unit partly due to the site’s topography but also the era in which the condos were built (i.e. designed with lots of dark wood). The unit is quite large with central AC and we had a comfortable stay here.

Great stay, nice location. Peaceful, encourage getting a golf cart to get to beach club, beaches, shopping, golf course over rental car driving. Beaches were not crowded and rental has sufficient beach gear. We took our own snorkeling gear and had an excellent time seeing turtles, fish and yes a pod of dolphins. Excellent local options inside Mauna Lani for eating and some shopping. It is only a short drive to Waikoloa (cannot go by golf cart) if you want to go to more shops and like the crowds there. Beach passes to Waikoloa were very easy to use, however the local small pool was a very short walk and nice. We loved the golf course with views and a challenging layout with lava rock areas on some holes. Amazing shot over the ocean on south course hole #15. The golf course was not crowded at all.

Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb on the Big Island was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and the warm hospitality of our host, Allyson. The home itself was immaculate—thoughtfully designed, incredibly clean, and stocked with every amenity we could possibly need. Every detail was clearly considered to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. Location-wise, it was great, secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to attractions all the Big Island has to offer. Our host went above and beyond—providing excellent local recommendations, quick communication. If you’re considering a stay on the Big Island, do not hesitate—this place is an absolute must. This is a very nice place for a visit to the big island. Some golf and a beautiful sunset out the patio as well. Beaches fairly close by. The hosts have very clear instructions and nice recommendations too that we liked. You'll find everything as described with a well fitted kitchen and everything you might need in the house. All in all, I'd recommend the place for sure.

Ina is a very informative and responsive host. She recommended some great local restaurants and places to hang out. The house is clean and the neighborhood is very peaceful. There is a beautiful view of the beach behind the apartment (2 minutes walk). The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and ingredients. However, we didn't have time to cook. One thing we found annoying was that the AC was portable and a bit noisy.

We absolutely LOVED this place and we would definitely recommend it. The apt is located on the golf course with a peaceful view. The apartment itself was beautiful with two full bathrooms! Ana's instructions on what to do was wonderful and helpful. We did most of the activities she suggested and they were awesome. Ana had everything we needed such as a beach umbrella, snorkeling equipment, two Big Island - Hawaii books, and kitchen supplies. We cannot say enough good things about her place. The apt. is less than 15 minutes from two of the most amazing beaches on the Big Island, Hapuna and Mauna Kea Beach Resort. The apt is also close to a supermarket, coffee shop, King/Queen Marketplace and more! Ana was lovely and easy to work with. We appreciated everything she did to make us feel welcomed and at home with so many thoughtful amenities. We had an amazing vacation and wonderful memories in her home. Thank you so much, Ana!

Loved this apartment! We loved the location most and enjoyed walking across the street to the beach every morning and every evening for the sunset! Amenities were great. Hosts are very helpful and nice! Loved having the beach gear provided and used it everyday! Turtles! LOVED the turtles! 🐢❤️ We will definitely be back!

Everything excellent, very clean and good location, only the shortness of air for the day in hot weather is a bit hot but I recommend closing windows and at night you open

This 1 bedroom apartment has everything I needed for a long term stay: an equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, WiFi, cable/Roku TV, comfortable furnishings, a lanai with a view, and designated parking. The pool at the complex was excellent for daily swims. The ocean-front location of the complex provided beautiful sunset views.

Great place to stay in Kona! Just yards from shops and restaurants. Kitchen was perfect for meals at the condo and dining on the lanai. Location was close to great activities! Binder in the condo had great suggestions for what to do on the island. We picked a new adventure each day and had a blast! Will definitely stay again when we visit the big island!

We enjoyed our stay at Nico and Sarah's condo. It was a convenient location and had everything we needed. Nico and Sarah were responsive to our questions. I would stay here again.

It’s very convenient that this property had free AC. It was also nice that we were able to cook full breakfast every day. That helps save a lot of money. Also great location!

Jason’s condo is one of the nicest, most comfortable/convenient places that we’ve ever stayed. Centrally located with all of the amenities of home. We’re already talking about returning there sometime in the future. Jason is a 10+ communicator and just an all around great person. The condo was worth every penny that we paid for it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alexey's condo, this actually was our best Hawaiian Airbnb experience across our trips to Big Island, Maui, Kauai, and Oahu. The condo is beautiful, with an amazing master block and bathroom. The other bedroom is super comfortable and stylish too. The condo is thoughtfully decorated and equipped, has everything you need from a Breville Barista espresso machine to beach gear (chairs and umbrellas, also boogie boards). The location is great, as accessible as it gets on the west side of Big Island -- there is one beach 15 min away on foot and the amazing Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches are both a short ~20 min drive away. The hosts, Alexey and Dmitrii were super responsive and always ready to help with any questions. Thank you for a great vacation!

We had a truly perfect stay at Brittney’s apartment! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and full of thoughtful touches. It’s set in a gorgeous location with two lovely pools, and the added bikes, beach and water gear were such a bonus. Brittney was incredibly proactive, kind, and responsive in her communication, which made us feel truly cared for throughout our visit. She even provided a crib, highchair, and baby gate, which made traveling with our 10-month-old so easy. We stayed as four adults and a baby, and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable for all of us. Every detail was so well thought out—it really felt like a home away from home. It’s clear that Brittney has thought of everything to make her guests feel comfortable and welcome. We were sad to leave and would absolutely love to stay here again. This place is a real gem, and I recommend it 100%! Thank you so much, Brittney!

We had a wonderful stay at Patricia’s beautiful condo. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the amazing lanai with comfortable chairs, a beautiful view & a great grill. The place was stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, tennis rackets, balls, towels & a cooler. The place was super clean which I really appreciate & had comfortable beds. The Ocean Club has a pool, amazing sunset views, drinks and a restaurant. We used the condo as home base to enjoy the sights around the island. Our stay at the Waikoloa Village apartment was fantastic. It was very well connected to the rest of the island and close to some heavenly beaches. Our kids enjoyed all the beach gear we had available. We'll definitely stay there again if we come back! Mahalo!

Burt Is an amazing host. Always responded to all our questions. He was always kind and responsive to all our questions. Place Is amazing. Very conveniently located close to shops and restaurants. Appartment has amazing sea view from a huge balcony awesome sunset and sunrise. They gave as a nice gift of Hawaii honey and some other snacks. Appartment is equipped with umbrellas and beach foldable chairs as well as snorkeling equipment for your full experience. All amazing beaches are within few miles from appartment and we explored them all. We don’t have preference. Each of them is worth experiencing. If you like to cook there is high level equipped kitchen with subzero refrigerator and great other kitchen appliances( range, oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker etc) Master bedroom toilette has bidet with warm water and dryer. There is also washer and dryer so you can wash and dry your clothes if you are staying longer. Appartment also comes with garage and private parking spot.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo in Waikoloa! The views were absolutely breathtaking. Our favorite part of the trip was being able to watch the beautiful sunset each evening from the lanai. The space itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything our family needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. What truly made this stay exceptional was the host — incredibly responsive, kind, and so easy to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent stay in this amazing condo! The lanai can’t be beat by any hotel. Everything was super clean and nice. We liked that it’s a smaller complex, we never really saw neighbors and felt like we were the only ones there. Great location. Try Da Poke Shack nearby for the best on the island!
