Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Matera

after 10 years on AIRBNB this is the best place I have been! Everything was wonderful, all is brand new and with nice design. There were a lot of things for the breakfast and even more, in the bathroom too. The bed and pillow are very good. Bruna was very nice and welcome us gently with flexibility. Parking around the place is easy and free in the vicinity. To summarize, perfect for us and for everybody I guess!

My stay in Matera was short, but absolutely loved every minute of it. Teresa’s place is gorgeous and it is so well situated at the heart of the town. Waking up in the morning and cracking the windows open to find yourself sorrounded by all this history, was amazing. The bed was super confortable, the pillows were great! I wish i’d stayed more days just to enjoy that room.

I had already booked the apartment some time ago for my parents, who had a great time. This time I had the opportunity to stay there personally with my sisters and my girlfriend, and I can confirm the great impression my parents had had. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the location is perfect: magnificent view and a quiet and relaxing place. Highly recommended!

The apartment is beautiful and functional, very close to the centre. Pino (Ivan's father) welcomed us with great courtesy, he also gave us 4 eggs from the farmer, and then gave us advice on where to eat. The town is very beautiful and quiet. Definitely recommended.

A few steps from the picturesque canyon of the city of Gravina (with the Ponte Viadotto bridge - Aquedotto Madonna della Stella, known as a filming location from the youngest James Bond film “No Time to Die”) it is a large, clean and well-equipped apartment. The property is in a perfect location, at the entrance to the old town. We stayed there for ten nights and found ourselves very comfortable and satisfied. Check-in is done independently via a box at the side of the front door, and communication with Agapito was smooth.

We stayed in Nico's beautiful apartment for 5 days and used it as a perfect base to explore not only Matera but also other nearby tourist gems like Alberobello. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the entrance of the Sassi and conveniently close to a multi-storey car park. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with a fully functional kitchen. The quiet location, combined with blackout blinds in the bedrooms, made for an exceptionally peaceful night’s sleep. Communication in English was excellent and our arrival was well coordinated. Highly recommend "Le Ferule" for anyone wanting a comfortable, well-located place to stay while exploring Matera and the surrounding area!

We felt at home at Filomena's. A lovely little house with everything we needed. My daughter loved her loft bedroom. It's a home that transmits love and memories. Clean and match the description. Filomena as a host is impeccable, polite, affectionate, available and always ready to recommend. Montescaglioso was a pleasant surprise.

Upon our arrival we found the owner who showed us the house and explained everything we needed in detail. Very nice place, clean, with ample outdoor spaces very welcome especially by my children. The house is 10 minutes from the nearest beach and still convenient to visit all the beaches of the Ionian coast. 5 min from the center of Marconia, very nice center for the evening, and 10/15 min from Pisticci. In less than an hour you can reach the beautiful Matera. We had a very good time and the owners were hospitable, kind and available to meet our requests. We also had the luck and pleasure of tasting typical homemade dishes by Mrs. Graziella to whom I send a big hug!

I stayed at Anton's on the way from Naples to Reggio di Calabria and everything was perfect. I was kindly greeted by Anton's mom. The apartment is very clean, peaceful and functional. It has a balcony with a very nice view and a queen bed. The breakfast included is full and very nice when you only stay one night. I would recommend it in a second.

Good apartment, I felt very comfortable and it is what I expected and I had imagined it, it met my expectations and I recommend it without a doubt. Parking is a plus!!

We needed help from a local to find the place because we checked in early before the owner was available. A number of steps to reach and entrance to the apartment. Large bedroom with large window and lot of storage space. We did not use the 2nd bedroom which was also large with 3 beds. Everything was very clean. We did not use the kitchen but it was stocked with some essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil etc. Other than a tiny wood stove in the kitchen which I don't think was meant to be used, there was no visible source of heating and we found it a bit chilly one day. Parking was pay parking on the street but the owner left us a parking reduction pass so it cost only 2Euro a day. Location was great being very close to Angel Flight ticket office, restaurants and groceries. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

The house is surrounded by olive groves, in an oasis of peace just a few miles from the sea, we particularly appreciated the outdoor garden. The sunrise view from here is truly beautiful. Egidio is a super helpful host.

We spent 2 nights in this artist-decorated apartment. Very nice! Set back, so quiet and you can walk to the center. A little difficult to find parking but with luck...we get there! We would have liked to see Antonella but she was probably not available?

I recommend it. House located in a great location in an exclusive village with a pool. The house is not very large, but it is well-kept, clean and with changes in taste. Partly stylish and part rustic. We only stayed for one night but maximum rating for all the services offered See you next time!

More than perfect! The unit was newly refinished, but with the amazing touches of vintage items giving the space an authentic feel, but new and stylish at the same time! Located literally steps away from the center of town, yet felt like I was in a small group of homes among wonderful neighbors. I enjoyed moving the table over toward the balcony to do my work and watching the neighbors go about their daily life. Two times a week a van comes by the neighborhood and sells fresh mozzarella, which I took full advantage of! It was really such an authentic, comfortable stay I can't wait to come back! Michela was very helpful answering any questions I had and gave me helpful tips for what to see on my stay. Highly recommend!!

It was a pleasure to stay with Salvatore because not only was the accommodation perfectly matched the description with a silent air conditioning in the room, not insignificant, but our host was considerate and has a real source of information about the must-see places to see in the province of Taranto (restaurants, beaches...) Thanks to him. We will not forget this stay in Ginosa!😍

Staying at Maddalena's was great, we felt welcomed and pampered. Very tidy and very clean house in a strategic position both to live the life of Matera and to visit the stones and various attractions of the place. Maddalena with her directions was valuable, allowing us to experience a stay full of relaxation, good food and culture. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights in Mrs. Anna's cute apartment, a kind and friendly woman who welcomed us at the entrance of the village. The apartment is well cared for and recently built , equipped with all the comforts including air conditioning. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay.

The hostess met us personally. The apartments are clean, there is everything you need for a good rest. good wifi.

More than satisfactory accommodation for a family of 3. Equipped with every comfort (the only flaws: the TV did not take all the channels and the air conditioning in the bedroom was absent as it is only present in the kitchen). The surprise was to also find a soccer door in the garden, to the delight of my son! Great location compared to the sea, a little less than the shops or supermarkets (you basically always need the car). The place is quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing vacation and for dinner by candlelight under a huge starry vault (without many lights, you can finally admire the stars). Be careful only on the streets nearby that are not at all lit! Overall everything went well! We're happy!
