Holiday rentals with lake access in Province of Lecco

We had the best week at this beautiful home. We are so happy we were able to stay here and will definitely want to stay again if we can come back to Varenna. Innocenta was so kind and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. This beautiful apartment and Innocenta made our trip to Lake Como so memorable. We did not want to leave! Grazie mille ❤️

Really great place and excellent setting. Friendly and always available host. Private fenced yard with sun loungers and shade, beach across the road 20 meters. (Note! Stony beach, swimming shoes are recommended). Car parking in the yard. There are a few restaurants nearby and a few in the center, about 600 m. There is also a port. By boat to Bellagio or Lecco. However, be prepared as if you were going to a cottage, as there is no grocery store in Onno, the nearest one is 10 km away. A car is necessary. An ideal place for those who value peace and privacy.

We spent 7 nights in Chiara's apartment and felt very comfortable from the beginning. The apartment is spacious and was super clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and we lacked nothing in the bathroom. We were able to park our bicycles in a lockable room without any problems. You can't reach the accommodation directly by car, you should note that. The terrace is great with a fantastic view. Chiara helped us at all times and was always available. Privacy in the accommodation is absolutely guaranteed and invites you to relax. The train station and the lake are within walking distance in less than 10 minutes. We would book again anytime. Laura and Luciano were very attentive, upon arrival we were given lots of useful information on local activities and places to visit within the time we had. Went above and beyond to provide us with timings for certain buses and trains. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly as described if not better! Can’t think of anything negative, if I return to Bellagio I would definitely stay again. Thank you !

We stayed in this very nice apartment for 8 days. The terrace with the magnificent view over the lake and into the mountains is really wonderful. Unfortunately, the weather was not as we had hoped. Communication with Laura and Carla was excellent. Everything worked out very well. Thank you for that. The area in the north of Lake Como is quieter than that in the south and the places in the mountains are worth visiting. We will remember the Ristorante in Livo very well, as well as the venerable Romanesque church of Santa Maria del Tiglio in Gravedona.

Right in front of the lake.. Has a little patio where you can have your coffee. Peaceful. has a dual heater and a/c unit that works great for quick temperature changes.

A great place not only to visit Lecco but also the entire Lake Como. The apartment was very clean and we had everything we needed. We could have not even taken so many things because we were doing laundry anyway. The self check-in option is great. We received clear instructions and the entire stay was very successful. The parking lot opposite is very cheap. We definitely recommend it ✌️

Very nice, clean apartment. We felt very comfortable. The apartment had all the amenities and you could start the excursions very well. Gladly again!

Excellent stay. Claudia very kindly agreed to our late check in (my error on timings!). The apartment is large, well decorated with some nice traditional touches and all the amenities you could ask for. Both balconies have a lovely view of the surroundings. We stayed in apartment 2 for 3 nights. The location was perfect for us - direct access to the lake just across the street. We were both on the public beach section and on the private terrace with direct lake access. Everything you need for a few days' holiday was available in the apartment. Only 5 min. walk to the centre of Onno, where a few restaurants can also be found. We especially liked the quiet location, without much tourist hustle and bustle. We were very happy and would book the place again at any time.

Our stay in Alessandras apartment was amazing. The place is exactly as seen in photos and you are less than 60 seconds from the lake. The views nearby are amazing! Alessandra was very responsive, offering recommendations and doing all she could to be of assistance. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had the most wonderful 3 night stay! Fabio was so helpful and accommodating. The apartment is perfectly located, close to everything yet felt so private…. And the view from the balcony!!!! Would not hesitate recommending to our family and friends.

We had a great stay at Dave’s place. His brother Dario welcomed us and gave us tips for our stay, where we could eat, the best places to go to the beach, supermarkets etc. He was very helpful and easy to reach on the phone if needed. The place was clean and spacious for two persons. Lovely view from the balcony where we could take out the chairs and a small table to sit in the evening to have dinner or a glass of wine and look at the view over Gravedona.

Ettore's place was perfect for my wife and me! It matched the description well and was very clean. It is perfectly located right by the Varenna square and a short walk down to the water. Ettore picked us up off of the train and helped us get settled. Upon check-out we walked to the train station which is about 10-minutes away. The best part of the apartment is its location. Out the front door there is an excellent restaurant (Il Cavitappi) and wine shop (In Vinis Veritas). Albergo del Sole is a couple of (short) blocks away and is perfect for pizza. Gelato and breakfast stops are also very close. We rented a boat for the day and the dock is also very close to the apartment.

We stayed at Francesca’s home for the first part of our honeymoon. Prior to our stay, we found Francesca to be very attentive, responsive and lovely to chat with. Her home is beautiful and is in a lovely area on Lake Como. There are many restaurants in walking distance as well as the town beach and a beach bar. The views are spectacular and the access to the beach is excellent. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

This was a fabulous spot to stay on Lake Como. We couldn’t have picked better. It was such a luxury having the garden and being able to swim privately in the lake every morning and afternoon. Once we parked the car we didn’t need to use it again as the place is bang in the walkable centre of all we wanted to see. The first day we walked 15 mins north to Tremezzo where we got the ferry over to Bellagio (which we found heavily touristic but our teens enjoyed all the shops) and we enjoyed the gardens of Villa Melzi . The second day we walked 15 mins south to lovely Lenno - so pretty the waterside promenade and Villa Balbianello. The third day to Tremezzo and Villla Carlotta - lots of Villas! If we didn’t have our teens with us we would have had cocktails in the grand hotel in Tremezzo and we also would have eaten at the lovely restaurant in Azzano (looked like a real foodies haven). The house had such character and was tucked quietly away from the main road. And the views - incredible!

Cinizia was the best Airbnb host I've ever had, hands down!!! Her place is so special, and she went out of her way to greet me when I arrived and explain everything to me thoroughly. She is the absolute sweetest, and she puts so much thought + care into her cabins. My stay there was truly special. Her garden is absolutely beautiful. 10/10, I can't say enough nice things about Cinizia! xx

I very much enjoyed how cozy the location was with my two friends. However, I did not realize how much of a hike it would be to the cottage as well as the fact that the upstairs could only be reached through the outside.

The accommodation is sufficiently large with a bedroom, a living room, a small kitchen and bathroom. the location is fantastic with a view of the lake and a small beach is also in the immediate vicinity:) the accommodation was clean and the kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. we will be happy to come back

Frederico's apartment is a little piece of paradise on earth. The view is amazing. They were super nice during our conversations and gave us great recommendations on what to visit in the area.

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

This place is truly one of a kind. Simply the most exceptional place I have been to. Great restaurants nearby, directly accessible by boat. We just loved cruising around the lake with the small motor boat, it made everything feel more special. The place itself is unique, as only very few houses are available in Santa Margherita. Lots of birds to watch, but the icing on the cake was all the fireflies at night that sparkle in the dark, really magical. But above all, Mattia was the friendliest, most helpful host and made everything nice and comfortable for us.
