Of historical interest as from the B&B "Al Vecchio Glicine" you can easily reach all the cities of historical-artistic interest in Friuli Venezia Giulia: Gorizia which, due to the wealth of green areas, was called "The garden city" already in the nineteenth century or also “Austrian Nice” (6 Km), Trieste (30 Km) with nearby Miramare Castle (summer seat of the Habsburg family), Grado called "Island of the Sun" for its golden beaches (36 Km), Aquileia ancient city Romana (27 km), the Bay of Sistiana and Duino with the famous Castle of the Princes of Torre and Tasso (13 km), Cividale del Friuli, an ancient Lombard city (30 km), furthermore the border with Slovenia is only 2 km away, and here we recommend you visit the famous Postojna Cave (50 km). Finally, Trieste Airport is 15 km away, inside in the arrivals area there are the offices of the major car rental companies which are always open in conjunction with flight arrivals.
