Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Province of Como

A nice set of rooms very close to everything that matters in Varenna. The accommodations were clean and Debora did a wonderful job communicating all information needed for the stay. She is very kind and friendly. The view from the roof is absolutely stunning and deserves some time during your stay with wine and snacks (weather permitting). I would stay again. A couple additional points to share: 1) All rooms are above ground level, so if someone has any mobility concerns, this might be an issue. Furthermore, there are lots of steps everywhere in Varenna. Be prepared to work your glutes. 2) It can be a bit noisy at night, so, if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should grab some ear plugs/buds to help block out noise. The church tower across the street rings all day, including night and early morning.

Hosts of heart and magical place, I stayed to go to the Propte lounge and Tiziana and Piedro folded out for me: drop off at Villa Erba to avoid me taking my car, discovering the recipes passed down from generation to generation, breakfast in the garden to enjoy the amazing view, much more than a bed and breakfast, I felt welcomed, a great family, thank you 🙏🏻

Fabulous stay, highly recommend these hosts and their place. Luisa was very proactive with us and responded to every question, even being able to pick us up from the bus station and drop us back on return. The accommodation is so clean and organised and has every utensil in the kitchen you will ever need. There is plenty of space and comfy seats, two tv's if you need them. Our hosts left snacks, water and wine for us which was very welcome. There is a choice of balconies to decide to have breakfast or a drink on. We loved our stay here.

A beautiful place to spend a few nights. Waking up with lake views from 80/90meters above the water is amazing. Costanza and her husband Angelo are lovely hosts, making us feel at home right away.

We had the pleasure of spending four wonderful days with Nadja and her family, and it was simply fantastic! The accommodation is beautifully located, surrounded by a picturesque landscape that invites you to relax. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Nadja and her family are incredibly hospitable and did everything to make our stay unforgettable. An absolute highlight was the breakfast that was prepared for us every morning. There were both vegetarian and meat options, which were always fresh and lovingly prepared. Every breakfast was a treat and the perfect start to the day! We can only highly recommend Nadja and her family and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Our stay at Marco's apartment was great! The apartment was very clean, tidy, and pleasant, just as advertised. Check in was flexible and convenient, and also at check out Marco made an effort to come towards us as much as he could. Marco himself was available, friendly and patient, and helped us with everything we wanted – even ordering pizza for us and recommended us an excellent cocktail bar that was exactly to our liking! Unfortunately, he was on vacation, so we didn't meet him in person, nor did we get the massage he usually offers to guests. Instead, his lovely parents welcomed us – even though they don't speak English, they welcomed us with a huge smile, with a big heart and a real willingness to communicate and help, which was very exciting. The surroundings of the apartment were picturesque, quiet and relaxed, with a lovely view of the lake and a sense of nature. There's a supermarket within walking distance and a train station, and it's very convenient. We chose to arrive by car, and it definitely gave us freedom of movement and flexibility, but you can definitely get by without a car – depending on your travel style. In conclusion – warm, personal and pleasant hosting, in an apartment that offers real tranquility. I highly recommend it!

The Nest on the Lake was the loveliest little lakeside inn! The owners are extremely kind and the access to the little beach was wonderful to have. Ferry boats and bus stops within 12 min walk of the inn, which was great. Two markets close by, a few fantastic restaurants within in walking distance, and the most gorgeous views of Lake Como! We would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Lake Como for the first or 100th time!

Definitely the best place we’ve been to and the best place to stay at Como lake! Everything was just perfect- amazing breakfast, friendly host, amazing restaurant and really peaceful place! The house is right next to a medieval tower which is free to enter and has an amazing view 😍 We are definitely coming back! Thanks for the best memories!

This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Could not have been more beautiful with insane views and a very comfortable room. The breakfast every morning was perfect and the villa is located near great restaurants. Easy to get to the neighboring towns by ferry and do day trips all around the lake. Could not recommend this place anymore. Federico could not have been a more kind and helpful host.

Unfortunately we only had one night. We had a good breakfast with very nice service.

Marianne is a very warm and helpful person. The stay was extremely pleasant and we will return here again on our next visit as well. The location of the apartment is great, close to the center, in a quiet area. The room and the bathroom were very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast served with delicious coffee. :)

Perfect stay for a girls’ trip! I stayed here with my friend and we absolutely loved it. The room was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing break. Breakfast was delicious and gave us the perfect start to our days. Our host was incredibly welcoming and gave us so many great recommendations for places to visit, eat, and explore — it made our trip even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

A MUST stay! Danilo was so kind and helpful. His villa was close to the ferry stop for easy access, great breakfast spread, and the room was absolutely beautiful with the best view. We were very lucky get to elope on property with the most beautiful scenery. Danilo was so accommodating and our wedding photos will be absolutely amazing thanks to Danilo and his wonderful, well kept home and property.

Alessia’s place is one of the best places to stay! The view is spectacular, and the pool is amazingly peaceful. I relaxed by the pool every morning during my stay. I have to mention the breakfast—Alessia provides it on-site, and the portions are so generous and delicious! Alessia is super friendly and easy to communicate with. Plus, they have an EV charger, so if you like to drive around the Como area in an electric vehicle like I do, you won’t have any trouble finding a charging station—you can just charge your EV at the property. Thank you so much for your great hospitality, Alessia, and please thank the lady who prepared breakfast for me! ☺️☺️☺️

The place is in an amazing and cosy location. But more importantly Gerlanda is by far one of the best AirBnb host we ever had. She’s responsive, warm and approachable. The breakfast spread she prepared in the morning was so elaborate and nice. We even had a great conversation during breakfast.

Unbelievable! The place was brand new and the people were more than friendly. We were welcomed by two people that shows us everything they made us feel right at home and although it was already 10 o’clock in the evening, they even offered to cook us a meal. The room was immaculate and breakfast was amazing, this place is on my Airbnb shortlist as of now.

Communication with Laura was great. We were also able to check in earlier. We were received in a very friendly manner and received a city map, excursion and restaurant tips, etc. The breakfast was excellent. We also loved the fenced parking lot on the premises. The room had a kettle and air conditioning. A fridge was also available to the general public.
