Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Providence

Everything was exactly like the description. Very clean and great home. Communications with Lavonne was fantastic. The location was perfect.

One of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed at. Richard was also on of the best hosts we’ve ever dealt with. Always available and extremely helpful, friendly and responsive.

Lovely, charming house. Patricia was very kind and welcoming. She met us at the house despite it being late. Patricia's thoughtfulness was readily apparent in the wealth of kitchen amenities and options she shares with her guests; definitely a people person! The home itself is exactly as pictured. Parking is easy. It's quiet at night for sleeping. With windows open the morning traffic noise may bother some. We had a comfortable stay and would stay here again.

The house was exactly how I imagined it. A very relaxed beautiful setting with birds chirping and right near the water. The home was gorgeous and Leigh Anne was great with communicating and all the lovely touches that she did that went above and beyond. I was unwell and she dropped off tissues and specials teas etc to help and advised me on the best way to get to a Doctor. The place was amazing and a real oasis to relax and unwind on a very busy 5 week trip. We had 3 night here and we wish we could of had more. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful home. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped with everything. The neighborhood was very lovely and close to everything.

The cottage was as lovely as described and on beautiful grounds. Stephen welcomed us with his delicious homemade carrot cake, a bottle of bubbly and a welcome card for us and a graduation card for my son! It was all delightful! Would definitely stay here again.

Nellie’s place was amazing! Full of charm, but every modern amenity. The beds were VERY comfortable. Lots of really nice and thoughtful touches- like sleeping masks for the room with 2 sky lights, a welcome gift of wine and oat milk and butter in the fridge. She even left toys out for the 9 month old in our party— a lifesaver!!! R Nellie was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

This is our second stay at Courtenay's historic home. As she describes - it's an old home with the idiosyncracies of a home with over 200 years of history. It is a spacious home with lovely furnishings. Kitchen has all you'll need. The area can't be beat if you are visiting Providence and/or Brown University. We were lucky enough to book her house during our son's graduation and could walk up the hill to the campus in 5 minutes. Courtenay is always responsive and flexible. We will stay there again!

Great experience overall!!! The place itself was really comfy, had all the needed ammenities, pricing was incredibly fair/worth it, and it's in a super walkable location, can't recommend enough! Thanks so much for lending your space! ❤️

This cute little neighborhood is quiet and lovely while also being convenient (7 minute drive) to downtown Providence. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Michael’s place. It is clean, comfortable and convenient. Be sure to stop at the Taunton Avenue bakery for authentic Portuguese pastries.

The apartment is really great, very spacious, conformable beds, very well equipped and wonderful bathroom. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and CVS. Quiet neighborhood and Farmers market close by during summer. Hosts are extremely nice and respond to any questions in a matter of minutes. This is the second time me or my family stayed in the apartment and have always had a great time. Thank you very much!

Accidentally passed the place a couple times as it is hard to tell which house and driveway we needed (especially when we arrived after dark). Once we found it we parked in the spot the host provided pictures of and host kindly offered to help us carry our bags. Very clean. Not the most friendly place for those who are tall haha but overall a great cozy space.

The place was as advertised and they even had the AC on when I arrives as it was a very hot day. They checked in to make sure all was well after a day. When I left I found I had lost something and they responded immediately to my query and were very helpful. They also checked in later to see if my issue was resolved. Excellent host.

Susan's place is a nice, quiet, cosy little attic apartment. It is exactly as depicted in the photos and described in the comments (and in all the other reviews). The location is a quiet, residential street. The bed is comfortable. The shower works well. If you are as tall as I am (6'2''), you'll find yourself crouching in some parts, such as by toilet and getting in and out of the shower, but I was able to stand upright for most of the apartment. The location is convenient enough. It is possible to walk to/from the train station (about 20 mins) and to Downtown Providence (about 30 mins). I had only a backpack with me and was therefore able to use a Spin scooter to quickly get to/from the city. Overall, the place matched what I was looking for my short, two-day stay in Providence. We had a wonderful stay at Allena’s place while attending our daughter’s commencement at RISD. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and just a short drive to campus. Allena was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, which made it feel like a home away from home. We truly appreciated her hospitality during such a special week for our family. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my stay at Rob’s place. He was very accommodating for checking and checkout. Good communication. He checked in to make sure everything was ok. Easy to get into the apartment. Great place for a short stay to visit the area. Quick ride to downtown, with a bus stop directly outside the property. Good parking. Appreciated the cold water in the refrigerator and toiletries. Quick 5-10 minute walk at PC. Good Lebanese/Pizza place right across the street. If I ever need to stay in PVD again, I would surely stay at his place.

We were very happy with our stay at Pelham Court! The unit was spacious, bright, clean, and well equipped. We could easily fit a pack n play in the bedroom and they provided a high chair for the kitchen area. The bathroom was also a great size! The only downside is that our room (#5) was closest to the Main Street and the noise from the bars was pretty loud. Bring earplugs/noise machine for overnight if you’re there for a weekend. Being close to the Main Street was great for easy access to everything, but it also means you’ll hear the crowds and music at night. So just keep that in mind if you’re planning to go with kids.

Our stay at Trip and Christina’s place was excellent. It is perfectly decorated and we loved the peacefulness of deck for early morning coffee as well as enjoying our meals alfresco. Perfect location close to bus station for tours of Newport and transportation to the mansions. We unexpectedly arrived super and Christina was a gracious host and invited us in while she completed preparing the place for our stay. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

This was the perfect spot for our stay in Newport. We were able to secure a free parking spot right in front, and since everything is walkable we never had to move the car. Great space and in a prime location (Bowens Warf 20-25min walk, shops on Thames 5-10min walk) Very clean and spacious. perfect spot. Would stay again.

This place was great! It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the check-in/check-out instructions were very easy, and the host also provided suggestions for nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

Liliane's place is a great find. It is in a very convenient location in Newport where you can walk to the water and multiple shops and restaurants. The space is filled with light and it was very clean. It's a very comfortable place to come back to after exploring Newport. Liliane was a fantastic host, very responsive and provided very clear instructions. We would stay here again.

Alex’s place was a great stay to recharge and relax after the long days we had last week. I would highly recommended this place for anyone popping through New Bedford, or staying for a few days! The airbnb was spotless and quiet and clean. I will be renting here again when I need somewhere to stay when I’m back in New Bedford! Also very close to downtown all the coffee shops, and restaurants! Quiet neighborhood.

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.
