The nest

Formerly called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's cabin was used as a kitchen and dining room. It was where milk was turned into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbours , and where social life was forged. Tools,seeds, crops , were also stored in the tree. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a feeling of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

Babrou Farm Cottage

Right in the heart of the Drome Valley, our secluded house is two kilometers from the village of Saillans. From GR trails, it offers a breathtaking view of Les Trois Becs. Our agricultural activity blends with a rich nature and promotes biodiversity. The sheep graze around the house from October to May and some go to alpine during the summer period. We produce yogurt and sheep cheese during the low season.

You will enjoy a small independent studio of more than 60 m² within our stone house (15th century) with views of the valley of our village. In winter you will be heated by a wood fire and in summer you can cool off in the pool. Guests can enjoy breakfast if they wish, as well as an evening meal, always on request.
