“We enjoyed our stay at Amity and Doran's. The view is fantastic and there is nothing like watching the sunrise over the lake! It was very quiet, peaceful, close to restaurants, shopping and the freeway. Nicely decorated and homey place for a weekend visit and we would definitely stay again. If you have a sensitivity to smells, notify them in advance as the bedding does have a slight scent to them that is relaxing for most but not all. Overall, a great stay.”

“My friends and I loved the place and how cozy it was. Very nice quiet location for the night, but also close enough to the main city and shops that was perfect for us! Had a great time staying here!”

“My stay was short, as I basically just slept overnight and left in the morning shortly after waking, just one night. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and it was evident they wanted me to feel at home, which I appreciated very much. The listing's description is quite accurate, no surprises from my perspective. The private room is the entire upstairs area, which really feels like two separate rooms - one with the bed and one with the kitchenette. The stairs are certainly steep, which means each step is short so only the front portion of your foot touches the step, unless you navigate the steps with your feet sideways. And the ceiling is certainly low as described. I'm 5'11" and I mostly moved around crouched, kind of felt like I was in a fort. These things are mentioned in the listing, just providing my experience. I would definitely visit again. :)”
