Cooper Cabins

Log building with 2 queen beds. In the winter this is my garage but summer it's a great 'cabin'. Microwave, fridge, covered grilling area with gas grill,space heater, private shower/toilet house. Fire pit, no wood supplied. Kenai Lake access is 1 mile, great beach walking. Fish on the Kenai, 1.5 miles away or drive 6 miles to the Russian River. Dogs allowed but you cannot leave them alone in the cabin unless they are in a kennel. If days are not available please ask, I might be open.

Renfro's Lakeside Retreat Cabins

Upper Paradise Log Cabin

Built by a renowned log cabin expert in 1982, the Paradise Cabin has been recently updated, is surrounded by the Chugach National Forest and directly next to the famous Moose Pass 'swimming hole'. This cabin is private, clean, cozy and perfect for a couple or small family looking to experience the many activities of the Kenai Peninsula. Perfectly located close to the beautiful seaside city of Seward, world-class king salmon fishing in Cooper Landing, and the charming town of Moose Pass.

Moosewood Cabin

Built in the late 1930's, Moosewood Cabin offers clean, comfortable, and cozy authentic Alaskan lodging for two. A great place to base your Seward, Alaska adventures. Summer 2025 will be our 27th season of offering Seward visitors a great place to rest after a full day of exploring the Seward Area. Moosewood is perfect for the minimalist traveler who wants to live large in the great outdoors! No Wi-Fi No pets, smoking/drug use of any kind is permitted on or near the property.

The Bear Cub Cabin

Built by Alaskan gold miners in the early 1900’s, the Bear Cub Cabin was reconstructed in 2016. Nestled in the beautiful Chugach National Forest with towering Alaskan mountains right at your doorstep. This historical cabin is clean, cozy and perfect for a couple looking to experience the many activities of the Kenai Peninsula. Perfectly located close to the beautiful seaside city of Seward, world-class king salmon fishing in Cooper Landing, and the charming town of Moose Pass.

Fiddlehead Yurts

We are not your average getaway. Hidden in the rainforest canopy, spend the afternoon grilling on the porch while watching the eagles fly to and from their nest above the yurt. When your ready to wind down listen to the owls hoot around the fire ring while watching the sunset from exit glacier. A labor of love as my first home, I hope you get a slice of the serenity that comes with unplugging in this magical spot. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up to a moose or two in the pond.

24 Ft. Modern Yurt #1

We are located on a forested acre. Our yurts are modern with most amenities included. We are located 8 minutes driving time north of Seward, and within walking distance, 8-10 minute walk to the lake or the Bear Lake trailhead, or the Salmon Weir, this is where the salmon come up the creek to spawn in Bear Lake. The Salmon are visible from May thru July.

Take it easy at this unique and (mostly) peaceful getaway. Experience Moose Pass, great hiking trails, world class fishing on the Russian river, or Seward's Resurrection Bay. We are easy to find - right on the Seward Hwy. The cuteness of the house and the gorgeous mountain view, takes your mind off the gravel yard. :) We now have Wi-Fi!!
