There are historic towns to explore nearby, and the river Vienne is a short walk through the village.

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

We are 50 minutes from both Limoges and Poitiers, our local airports. A 15 minute drive to the nearest supermarket in the town of Confolens and plenty to do for all the family in the surrounding area including fishing, walking, canoeing, horse riding, zip wiring, parcours and the wonderful valley of the monkeys.
