Castelli Romani Apartment, Monte Compatri

Me and my friend had a almost excellent time at Matteo’s house. We were both working remote so here I put the pros and cons Pros: # Matteo and his wife are very responsive almost instantly and always trying to help! # Matteo’s wife picked us up from the terminal and took us to the supermarket to get the essentials before starting our journey which is great cuz the first day with all the luggage that’s very appreciated! # The whole place is even bigger than in the pictures and SO peaceful. # Everything is around the corner (bus stop, supermarket, everything) # The house is equipped with everything and more Cons: # The internet is extremely bad (<10MB) and for us that was a major inconvenience cuz we needed to work and have online meetings. Even though we asked about the speed before booking, Matteo told us it would be 200MB (TOO far from the real one). He tried to help but there was nothing much to do at that point. We could barely work. We would have liked to be told the real speed.

From Stefano to Castelli - apartment 2

KeanuRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Stefano was the best host we have ever had. He picked us up from the train station, greeted us with local fruit & wine, water, milk, coffee, and biscuits. The bed was super comfy, the area is quiet and the locals are the most friendly people. We had great pizza there, recommended by Stefano. The train station is a short walk away, it is easy to get to the city. We couldnt recommend this highly enough! Please stay here!! You wont regret it. Stefano is the best!

As soon as we arrived we were immediately welcomed by Mrs. Irine who was super helpful in providing us with all the information for the stay. The space was well structured and clean.

House in the village

Paula’s apartment was very cosy. Paula clearly worked to make it homey and comfortable. The view from the apartment is gorgeous! We were in the apartment from Jan 2nd to Mar 8th; outside was windy and extremely cild, Paula’s apartment was toasty warm! Paula was responsive within minutes of contacting her. Monte Compatri is an ideal spot for anyone wanting quiet, fresh air and great views. There is grocery shopping nearby, coffee bars, and some little restaurant. It is NOT the place for action and/or parties. We were very happy in our little home away from home - we were able to de-stress and recharge, exactly what we were looking for in Paula’s apartment!
