Holiday rentals with a patio in Prainha, Alvor

The apartment is located in a spectacular area, the object of many visits due to the fantastic views. The location is exceptional, you can walk to supermarket and beach and there are several areas very close to leaving our vehicle. The orientation of the apartment, without being exactly a first line, allows you to enjoy the sea in a fantastic way from the side balcony you have, very well adapted to comfortably enjoy a refreshment or a coffee, as well as from the terrace located at the entrance to the apartment equipped with comfortable furniture to relax looking at the Sea. The interaction with the hostess has been close and agile from the first moment and the apartment is beautiful, tastefully renovated, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with everything you need to relax and the beds very comfortable, in short it seemed a great option in all aspects. We traveled with our pet and had a great time.

We stayed for 3 nights in May, and really enjoyed our time in Portimão. The town is very pleasant, with excellent restaurants, the riverfront area, and easy access to the coastline of the Algarve. The apartment is very cute, with plenty of character. It is simple and compact, but we had all that we need. Having the outdoor patio was lovely, and we could watch the storks nesting on the chimney next door! Communication with the hosts was very easy, and access was exactly as described. We did find it awkward driving into Portamao, and having to park a short distance away. It was clear from the listing that this was the case, but it is awkward having to pull luggage through the street. We would stay here again for sure.

Perhaps the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It was exactly what I needed after exploring the big cities. The property was exactly like the listing - if not more. It was in a quiet residential area but still walkable to the town center (less than 10mins). I LOVED the balconies, there’s 2 private balconies and both incredible. One has a sun lounge, and the other with a beautiful sea view. I watched the sunrise from that balcony one morning. It was surreal. I will definitely come back to Portugal just to stay at this Airbnb. Everything has well thought out, even little things like the outdoor washing machine and clothes drying rack for guests use. I would 10000% recommend this place.

Great space if you are staying in Lagos!

The apartment was really nice, the beachy clean minimalist decor was lovely, lots of attention to detail. Stunning place. Looks exactly like the pictures. Balcony is small but enough space to eat and 4 people to sit round. Aircon in every room, nice bathrooms and kitchen with utilities. The place was immaculate, they even came and cleaned half way through our trip which was nice. Although we didn’t know this was going to happen so a heads up would be nice for next time. The location is great and close to old town and the beach, a bit noisy at night though with old town pubs and clubs. Pool was nice and everyone around the pool was very friendly! Seems like a lot of apartments in the building are also airbnbs so lots of guests around! The corridor to the apartment is run down and very darkly lit, with lots of flies too but once you get into the actual apartment it’s lovely. Liliana and Marisa were extremely warm and welcoming, fantastic stay would stay again and recommend to a friend

It is impossible for us to describe the kindness and attention they have shown us. Welcome gift, they waited for us at the door, the apartment was super clean, tidy, equipped, perfect location, everything. They are excellent people, excellent hosts and we don't know what else to say, it's impossible to be more attentive and pleasant. We will definitely come back and repeat, the beach is very close and you are close to everything. Rating this place with a ten is not enough, they have to give a ten plus for people like this. Everything is awesome

Choosing franco’s place to stay at for our short break away with friends couldn’t of been a better choice! The location was perfect, the home was cosy, spacious, very well decorated and clean! Exactly like the pictures. It felt like home, the hosts were very attentive and quick responses when we asked questions. First and best experience with airbnb👍🏼 Highly recommend❤️

We spent 5 nights at Rita's accommodation and really loved it. Super nice house, perfectly equipped, great location and quiet area. The roof terrace overlooking the Atlantic was a great place to end the evening after a "stressful" day at the beach. We really recommend the place to anyone! Many thanks to Rita :)

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the heart of Lagos Old Town. We really appreciated how clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed the space was. It felt both stylish and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better: walking distance to everything (restaurants, beaches, coffee shops, local retail), yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing. Private parking was a huge bonus, especially in the busy town center, and the private pool was a lovely way to unwind at the end of the day. The hosts, especially Carmo, were incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions that made check-in seamless. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-appointed home base in Lagos.

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Wonderful house in a great location. Our host was friendly, helpful and responsive. We really loved the experience and hope to return again next year.

The place was lovely, clean and in the heart of old town Lagos. Perfect location. All the recommendations provided by Gerry were spot on - from the food to the beaches. The highlight of our stay at the beach house was when we were able to sit on the rooftop and watch the fireworks celebrating Portugal day. Our host was extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this beach house.

Looked exactly like the pictures. So cozy. The terrace is fantastic! Had everything we needed. Check in was smooth and very helpful. Also very close to everything. Would highly recommend.

Maria was a great host and so helpful with anything requested. We had an issue with the lobby entrance of the building and she resolved this by communicating with the building management. We had a great time in the accomodation and felt relaxed for our week abroad with the children

It's clear that Stacy and Jim take a lot of pride in their apartment home in Carvoeiro and want to ensure the amenties remain in excellent condition for their guests. They communicated in depth instructions for locating the property in town and for accessing the apartment. We had no issues finding the place and there was ample street parking available. The location can't be beat - right in the middle of town within a few minutes walk to the beach. The terrace was where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring and we were thankful for the awning and large umbrella that provided shade from the sun in the warm afternoons. The patio furniture and pillows were super comfy and we spent many hours relaxing in this outdoor space. We didn't use the propane grill as we took advantage of the many restaurants within easy walking distance - Villa Medici was a standout! Thank you for hosting our family of four! We loved our time in Carvoeiro.

Great place to stay, very responsive and welcoming hosts, bottle of wine was great! Location is not overly walkable to Lagos downtown, but wasn’t expecting it to be either. Great pool and amenities at the condo!

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

The accommodation, hosts, and location were all like a dream—filled with love and beauty. The owners were incredibly kind and caring, always helpful while also respecting our privacy. Our whole family enjoyed every moment, from watching the golfers to driving through the orange groves, and having fun on the trampoline and in the pool. Everything was top-notch. If I had to search for a negative (and I really had to think hard to find one), it would be just the occasional thought of whether a golfer's ball might come flying our way! 😂

We had an amazing stay at Jorges apartment. It is just as the pictures show. Very clean and modern with everything we needed. We were travelling with our 3 kids and really felt at home. Access to outside pool downstairs and 5 min walk to beach. There is a pool cafe on-site owned by a lovely couple, which has tasty food and drinks at great prices. There is also a nice restaurant at the front of the building. Lovely walks along the cliffs to nearby beaches and restaurants. We rented a car and parking was easy at front and back of apartments. 5 min drive to Alvor or to supermarkets. Also Uber eats and Bolt for food delivery to the building. Jorge was very helpful and was so accommodating when we arrived later at night than we had planned. It’s a little slice of paradise and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Portugal.

The apartment is in a good location, walkable to the old town, the marina and the beach. The apartment was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, hosts friendly and responsive .

We had a great stay in Portimão. The apartment is very nice, we loved the balcony. Everything was clean. Robin and Sónia were available all the time and helped us during our stay! Thanks again 😇
