A beautiful house with great pool and a very nice view of the mountain and sea. The kitchen is super equipped. Using the coordinates and Googlemaps provided by Monica, we easily found the house. We arrived at night and the ride by car to the residential complex where the house is located was a bit adventurous as it rained the days before and also on our arrival and the surroundings were very dark. But everything worked out Communication with Monica was flawless and she was very helpful. Supermarket and restaurants are easily accessible by car within about 15 minutes. We enjoyed it, despite some bad luck with the weather. But after 3 days of rain, the weather became nicer and we were able to explore Calabria. We would come back.

Everything is in place for a great stay with family or friends: -The villa is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. - The garden is beautiful and very well maintained. -The private pool, the jacuzzi, the panoramic view of the mountainous countryside and the medieval castle of Squillace offer a cozy and relaxing setting. -The coast and the beaches around are very beautiful, the typical restaurants. And Martina and Thomas, with their advice and kindness, will pay special attention to make this moment special for you.

The property is an agriturismo on a high quality olive farm. We really enjoyed the tour that Anita gave us and we learned a lot about the production of good olive oil. The house is a simple, nicely done property with a lovely pool. The nearby Ionia coast is lovely. We were doing a long cycle trip - it’s preferable to have a car for this location as you’ll need to shop and there’s nothing nearby.

This was an exceptional stay in Calabria for me and my family. The villa is exactly as it seems. It is likely the nicest AirBNB that one will ever find in Calabria. The staff is exceptionally helpful. Rino & Caterina were available 24/7 to help us, we had daily cleaning service, and Gianni was our driver at a moment's notice anywhere we wanted to go, from Soverato to Tropea. We had a birthday party for 50 of our extended cousins and it worked out perfectly. The extra costs we paid (use of the van, daily cleaning, driving, and pool heating) were extremely fair and reasonable. Biggest tips -- have the pool heated even in June, and have the ladies come for daily cleaning - truly made it feel like a 5 star resort. Davide deserves tremendous credit for building such a special place in such a beautiful place in Calabria.

Beautiful, well-kept and authentic place. Charming garden and pool with beautiful and clean views. Really 7 minutes from the beach by car. The owners were very welcoming and flexible , they also made us find groceries at home and gave us the vegetables from their garden and the fresh eggs from the chicken coop! We absolutely recommend the place! Note: it is important to keep in mind that the other apartment that accommodates 5 people in the same property is just 5 meters from our rooms and the tables for eating in the garden a few meters from each other: so great for two families of friends who want to join for the holidays

Antonio and his family are great hosts. The house is beautiful and the facilities are great. Whenever we contacted Antonio he responded within 10 minutes and he was very helpful with everything we asked about. This is a great place to stay.

We were guests of Mr. Francesco alla Formaggera for a week. La Formaggera is located in a unique place for the landscape that surrounds it and a little enchanted by the saturated atmosphere of history that you can breathe in it. The house is simple, but delightfully furnished; the kitchen is well organized and equipped with everything you need and you can have lunch and dinner outside, cool. Far from the chaos, you can rest in the shade of the pines, surrounded by prickly pears and Calabra nature. The beautiful pool and its covered patio, much appreciated on warm days, are certainly a strong point. The sea is close and in the nearest town there are supermarkets and many other shops including the excellent Lagani dairy and the nearby pastry shop. The village of Badolato, a few kilometers away, is worth visiting.

Our host Emanuele gave us a lovely, friendly welcome. In fact his other family members (who live in the adjacent property) were also very welcoming. The house was very comfortable with lovely sea views and a cooling breeze. The air conditioning in the bedrooms also worked really well. (It was very hot when we visited in early August). Any minor points we drew to Emanuele's attention were quickly dealt with. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. He was able to give us great recommendations for beaches and nice restaurants to visit. We especially enjoyed the lovely terrace with pool. Great to have three bathrooms plus an outdoor shower by the pool. We were made to feel very at home and at ease. Many thanks to the lovely Stranges family for their warm welcome on our first visit to Calabria. (Definitely not our last!). We will especially miss their wee dog Lucky... ;-)

A very good choice to stay in Cariati. A very comfortable house and a very nice and helpful host. We can honestly recomend this place to other people. We really spent there 6 magnificent days.

Absolutely, amazing property with a breathtaking view. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for unique experience.

The house is nestled in a beautiful pine forest near the sea. There are other accommodations, but their outdoor spaces are for exclusive use. On the way back from the sea, the pine forest was an authentic good retreat: outdoor shower, two tables, deck chairs and masonry grill. In short, an ideal place to enjoy the silence, nature and the starry sky. The pine forest is a few kilometers from the municipality of Isola di Capo Rizzuto but there is a market and a bar nearby. A short walk from the property, there is a secluded and beautiful beach. Red sand, crystal clear sea and full of fish (Le Cannella is part of the protected marine area of C. Rizzuto). The descent to the sea is simple, but rather steep: not suitable for all ages and knees. Nearby there are still equally beautiful beaches, sometimes easier to access. Great communication with the legendary Mario. Whatelse to add? We will be back as soon as possible with great pleasure.

We had a lovely stay! The home itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and friendly. The space had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. As there are people upstairs and downstairs, we had to be quiet (I have 2 children under the age of 2), if you have children just be mindful before booking as you will be reminded to keep it down. You will also need to take bedding off and bins outside yourself at the end of your stay. One thing to keep in mind: the location is quiet seaside village style. It’s a peaceful and quiet area, which we appreciated, but taxis and ride-shares were hard to come by. If you’re planning to stay here, having your own car or arranging transportation in advance is a good idea. We made friends with locals who helped us out with ride shares. Overall, a great experience — especially if you’re looking for a quiet retreat and don’t mind being a little outside the city center!

Thanks also for helping us when, as soon as we arrived, the car battery left us! Beautiful beaches a few km away, lots of peace and the town of Botricello is well supplied with everything. Private villa, in a quiet area, cozy and harmonious with the many paintings and stickers on the walls, equipped with all the comforts and above all very clean.

Mario’s place is a fabulous one in the gorgeous and historic Sera San Bruno. The place was super comfortable, and decorated in a retro 80s style. Lots of thought has gone into providing a well-equipped and stylish place. Although on a main street, the neighbourhood was safe and quiet, with easy parking too. So much to see in the area. Mario provided great tips for us to visit in the area. Communication with Mario was great and he made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We felt comfortable right away 🤗 the apartment is very nicely furnished, everything was sparkling clean. The kitchen is well equipped, even coffee was ready ☺️ The bathroom is very comfortable, a highlight is the outdoor shower and cooking in the open air. The beach is not so beautiful, but it is definitely worth driving further south. Communication was friendly and very fast. Mario welcomed us very warmly and instructed us. Thank you for this wonderful week, absolutely recommended 👍🏽

Beautiful contemporary renovated, quiet, clean and spacious apartment (small bathroom) in an old building in the old town, within walking distance and not far from the piazza, restaurants and the beaches. Free parking (Parcheggio Pitaro) about 5 minutes' walk to the apartment, on weekends only drive via the Contrada da la Parrera, as the direct entrance was closed. Warm welcome from Rina and the communication with Giulia was very good. Small balcony with a wonderful view, we immediately felt comfortable. The furnishings are stylish, simple and completely sufficient. There was something new to discover every day in Pizzo and it is an ideal location for other attractions in Calabria. We can recommend the apartment. Many thanks to Giulia and Rina.

A cozy, comfortable and functional accommodation, a step away from the beautiful sea of Calabria (both free beach and establishment). Giuseppina is a helpful and friendly host, she responds quickly and gave us great tips for visiting local places. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Claudia is a wonderful host. She met us to check in and showed us around. Her home is beautifully decorated and has everything we needed. She checked in on us halfway through to see if we needed anything. Her home is in a great location to walk to amenities in the small town of San Lucido. She was accommodating and very responsive.

Alina's place is beautiful and conveniently situated. The view from the patio ( and bathroom) is breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting outside taking in the surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much and fell in love with Badolato.

Ample space, strategic location, minimal finishes and furnishings but with impeccable taste and cleanliness. As well as the relationship with the host. We spent a fantastic week of tranquility, beautiful scenery and excellent food. We'll be back and highly recommend it. Thanks to Luigi and family

Quiet place, house as pictured with everything you need, there is also a dishwasher, air conditioning for a totally relaxing vacation, close to TOP restaurants if you want fun evenings, just go to SOVERATO....in 15 minutes by car there is all the fun you want, beautiful promenade, but if you are looking for tranquility... peace and beautiful sea, I recommend... Isabella's house is a guarantee, thanks for everything we will definitely come back..
