the host was beyond responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay! first off she sent a bunch of links to find transport to the island which had all ready had made but still 🙏🏽 long story, we got to the island very late and in the rain! the host sent us the code prior and a FULL video on how to get to the home! cannot explain how clutch that was at night and running in the rain. the home itself was beautiful and as advertised. rooms were big enough and it’s in more a private part of the island while still be a short work away from all the life and beaches! really nicely located in my opinion if you want to be close but not that close iykyk. now, the house is located up some very steep steps so that has to be accounted for. it’s not too high up but it needs to be noted. buying toilet paper might also be needed. lastly, we went as a group and some of us were leaving earlier than others and she let two of my friends check out later nd again she was so gracious to us! she didnt have

We loved the stay, a super-equipped and cozy house; We didn't have much contact with the hosts, but in the little contact we did have, they were very cordial. We suffered a little on the first night, due to the smell of the rooms, I think because they were closed and the weather was rainy, especially room 01, but nothing that a full day of airing out wouldn't solve, this didn't hinder our stay. Beautiful place!!! Great house!! We love it and recommend it!

I went with my family and we had a wonderful stay. It feels like you're being welcomed by the family. Thiago is SUPER attentive and helpful! He cleared up all our doubts, gave us great directions and even helped with the luggage (which was not little). The apartment is beautiful, all well divided, offers all the necessary accommodations and a spectacular view. It has fans in every room, Wi-Fi, a stove, oven, barbecue and all the kitchen utensils. We had a lot of privacy in the house too, which was delivered in a single whim! The place (Araçatuba) is beautiful to die for, my favorite destination to rest. The local people are very receptive and friendly, the city offers a basic structure, do not expect to find large markets, pharmacy or bakery. It's a place my family and I would return to countless times. The hosts are to be congratulated.

The house is wonderful. The view is incredible. We had a wonderful week facing the beach. The beach is calm, family-friendly and the village is super quiet. Alex guided us about the crossing from Angra to the island and told us several taxiboats. Communication with Alex was great. We hope to return soon.

My first time in Ilha Grande, and being hosted by Uádila, it was extremely satisfying, in addition to meeting expectations, she made a point of exceeding them, I say to everyone. We made it easy for me to check in and check out, as it was possible to do this, which made the trip very comfortable and quiet. There is no better word to describe this house than wonderful! The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with everything you might need: coffee maker, freezer, sandwich maker, cake shapes, pizza and hamburger, blender, pressure cookers, frying pans and more. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, perfectly accommodating my family, which included seniors and a baby. Sleeping to the sound of the waves was a relaxing experience, like a real natural white noise. The house has many bathrooms, which makes it much easier for those who travel in a group. The swimming pool is great, and a big difference was the swimming pool, which kept it clean on a daily basis – something that, in five years of Airbnb home stays, had never seen before. The view is simply spectacular!!!! Those who know Garatucaia know that this is a point that does not require comment. Finally, the hosts were exceptional: always helpful and ready to answer any questions. Without a doubt, we want to come back more often!

Nice stay, surrounded by nature. Spacious house, with many beds. Matheus responded quickly to all topics, and we did a boat route with which it was unbelievable. Too bad I couldn't enjoy the pool, which was under maintenance on our visit, but we were warned beforehand. The next guest who goes will have a beautiful new pool. There were 7 of us, 4 adults, 2 children and a baby. The children played and enjoyed that beautiful park. The house was very comfortable, the pool being fenced gave us peace of mind. The rooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with everything you need and the bathrooms were fine. I'd go back and I'd recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you Fernando for all!

Daniele was an excellent hostess, always serving us quickly. The house is a refuge, we have spent incredible days and Dona Romilda was a love, very helpful. It was a memorable trip!

My family and I loved the location and the space, everything was great! We had unforeseen events with the microwave, which didn't work when we went to heat up food for the baby, so I notified Mr. Rodrigo, who was attentive and offered to provide another one quickly! We took a speedboat ride from the beach itself, we had beautiful days! We enjoyed our stay and are already planning to return !! Nothing shown in the photos was different from reality! Oh, I can't forget the Kayaks and the stand up paddleboards that are from the house, people, it's delicious, we love it!

Andrea left us at home… we were super comfortable. We have indicated wonderful places. The view from the apartment is indescribably beautiful. We saw the sunrise every day. Super cozy apartment. Equipped kitchen. Flexible hours. Not to mention the condominium structure... many options... there is even a cinema. Let's go back for sure. We love the place and we already have a taste for more. Hello to all travelers who use Airbnb. Our experience with Mrs. Renata was a wonderful and unique person. We were greeted with a nice complimentary cafe😃🤩, very helpful and polite. The village gave us several very good tips, me and my family and friends just have to thank for everything♥...

The weekend was perfect and the apartment was marked for us, we praise everything from start to finish, the view is a scandal, complete kitchen, everything clean and tidy and very close to everything! For those who go with a kid it's great has a playground in front and the club is close. I highly recommend it! We will return for sure!

Great house, beautiful location

Sergio is an amazing captain, host, guide, cook and so much more! We spent the last 5 days with him and 3 children on his sailboat traveling to so many beautiful locations and beaches in the Angra region. Including Ilha Grande, and so many more. We loved it all. It was the best way possible to get around and have the most amazing experience. Sergio allows for you to have a unique stay, where you feel like you have the whole boat to yourselves. It was really special. If you are considering it, all I can say is do it!!! Thank you, Sergio☺️

beautiful house on a beautiful island

I loved my stay at this place as well as André's warm approach. The visit to the beehives and orchard was a strong moment, both soothing and rewarding. The apartment is nice and very clean, albeita little dark (being located on the ground floor). The place is in a less busy part of the island, which offers beautiful tranquility. However, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to a beach suitable for swimming. A great place for those looking for peace and nature. André's welcome was exceptional: he even kindly offered transportation to Angra. Feel free to ask him for suggestions for discovering beautiful places or water activities — his tips are valuable!

Poliana is very receptive and flexible. The space is well located and quiet. We will return and recommend to friends.

Bianca was super solicitation and responded quickly and kindly. I was with my family, with children and dogs and we need to find a place quickly due to a neglect of another location and in the end it was the best choice. The house is well-equipped, and the sofa is especially so wonderful that it does not want to leave kkk

Laura's place is exactly as pictured. There are three rooms each with 4 beds and a private bathroom. The rooms are connected by the outdoor porch from which you can also access the large kitchen and living room. Beautiful outdoor spaces where you can eat and cook on the grill. The garden of the house ends exactly on the sand a few meters from the sea. Next to the house is a restaurant/bar with a wide selection of food. Laura helped us with boat and car transportation to the house from Rio de Janeiro. She also provided us with a lady to do the cleaning and cooking. Recommended accommodation for the location, the house and the host (super helpful and very kind, as well as his family). Only negative note: on the beach, like every beach in Ilha Grande, dock many small boats/yachts during the day so the sea is unusable during the busiest hours. In the evening, you're among the few to live on the beach. Super positive experience!
