Everything stems from an idea of the owners, a dynamic family ready to welcome guests as if they were relatives. The accommodation is on the 1st floor, facing north overlooking the castle of Avigliana and south overlooking the FLOWER GARDEN of the property. The strategic location makes it possible to walk to the medieval center, the lakes of Avigliana and the train station, nearby there are bars-newsstand-tobacco-pizzeria and buses CIR:00101300005

The ancient workshop

The accommodation is housed in an ancient medieval workshop overlooking the picturesque square of the Borgo Vecchio of Avigliana, which with its two splendid lakes is one of the best historic centers in Piedmont. Located in the lower Val di Susa, a few km from important sports and nature destinations, it is 30 minutes from the center of Turin. The train station can be reached in 5 minutes by foot and guarantees trains every half hour to Turin and the upper Valley. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The “ Ratin “ ( which means " little mouse" in the local dialect ) is a hosting structure in the town of Susa ( Turin ). It is a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom . The bedroom and bathroom are part of the owners’ house but completely indipendent from it. The bedroom , with a mansard roof , can accomodate up to four people. Bed linen and towels are provided. Free wi-fi and TV. Electric fan and mini-fridge. Free parking in private garage for a medium size car or four motorbikes.

Our home, nestled among the trees, rests in peaceful seclusion a couple of kilometers from the nearest village. We are Riccardo, Cristina, Lorenzo, Bianca and Alice. We chose to come here, into the woods, to begin living a simple yet fulfilling life, learning from nature. We offer you an attic loft carefully renovated by Riccardo, with a double bed and a sofa bed (both beneath skylights), a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a wide view over the valley.

The apartment is on the ground floor facing south, next to the Cité Vauban, a 5-minute walk from the shops. The sunny apartment is very quiet with a large garden and a beautiful wooden terrace. It is functional and charming. This apartment is ideal for a couple. We are served by public transport (TGV shuttle stop and city bus 3 minutes away. Our green garden is relaxing.
