We really enjoyed the spectacular views, the amazing terrace and the fun pool. BBQ area was a real plus and all the amenities were adequate for our party of six. Joao was a very friendly and responsive host. The main bedroom was large but the other bedrooms and communal areas were small with limited soundproofing. The location was beautifully private but the noises from the town and river could be loud.

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed, Francisca's house is one of the best. The house is great with comfortable beds, and the grounds around are amazing, with beautiful views. We were there in early June, and having breakfast outside was amazing. Francisca had eggs and lettuce for us, and there were oranges to pick up from trees for breakfast. The house is located within short drives to Braga, Guimareis, and Porto, so you can take day trips there and come back to this peaceful place. Francisca is a very good host, and we liked staying there because it is a family business.

We spent a lovely week in Dino and Ines's house. They were wonderful hosts - very kind and attentive - and gave us great advice on what to do - even down to where to park for free! The house is lovely - really spacious and comfortable - and it was fantastic to have a pool to relax in. The house is a great base for exploring the area - our favourites were the beach at Vila Cha, the market at Barcelos (we used the shuttle bus in and out), a day trip to Pena Adventure Park and also Viana do Castelo. Porto is also really easy to get to. Overall a wonderful stay. Thank you!

It was lovely to stay in Cristina's cottage. Really a gift! Cristina was very helpful and the neighbors were very generous (came by a number of times with fresh figs and also once with a bottle of regional wine). Really a place to go more often.

From the moment we made contact, our hosts made us feel truly welcome. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and warm hospitality turned our first trip to Portugal into a very special experience. The accommodation was exactly as described — a charming, traditional home set on a vast plot of beautiful land. It felt incredibly secure with two gates, and the setting allows you to enjoy complete privacy or connect with the hosts and animals as much as you like. It really does cater to what you need as a family. The house had everything we needed for cooking, and the thoughtful touch of a few essentials in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Our children especially loved meeting the animals and being shown around the grounds — it was such a unique and memorable part of the holiday for them.

Very nice house, rather spacious, completely faithful to the photos. All three bedrooms are upstairs. Perfect for 6 people. Ideally located to visit the north of Portugal without being far from Porto. Shops within 10 min and the train station 5 min away allows you to reach Porto in 50 min for €2.90! I plan to get away with my family, even my mother who is disabled and this place fit every requirement. the weather was wonderful during our stay, but even if it was raining it would be very enjoyable and comfortable. very private beach experience. look forward to returning in the future trips

A fantastic and unique space that really shows the incredible potential of buildings in Porto. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, and communication with the host was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Náhir and her Sister are great hosts responded very quickly when we needed help. Their place is very cozy and central highly recommended when staying in Porto.

Stayed here for a week with my family, including my brother and his children and my mother and father, and we absolutely loved it! The space was perfect for us to hang out as a family, enjoy the sunshine and play in the pool. We were able to use a high cars to get easily down to the coast and to local supermarkets to pick up provisions but most of the days we just spent relaxing in the house which has lots of space and lots of amenities. There was lots of space for the children to play both inside and outside, lots of places to sit and eat and the pool was excellent. The animals at the bottom of the garden were very entertaining for the children and they managed to name all of them!! I would highly recommend this space. I would happily come again. I was extremely satisfied with my stay at this house! From the first moment, I felt very welcome. The house is exactly as in the photos – clean, well decorated and with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The location is excellent, quiet but at the same time close to everything you need, such as restaurants and supermarkets.

Small house in a very good location on a quiet street, one-way with little traffic apart from pedestrians. Very quiet, very functional apartment, done with great taste! At the foot of the sea, I highly recommend it!

This apartment was even more beautiful than the photos. It had absolutely everything you could need. Very comfortable beds. The host was very responsive and kindly greeted us at check in and provided tips and recommendations as needed. Highly recommended!
