The view from the balcony on the 8th floor with sea views is beautiful. The apartment is in an excellent location, close to the historic old town with lovely shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to the train station with an excellent train service to Porto. The apartment appears exactly as in the photos, nicely furnished with modern tasteful decor, very clean bathroom with an excellent shower and the contemporary kitchen has everything you need. Nice modern glazed soundproof windows and doors with shutters which made it very quiet at night. We had an enjoyable stay for the week and hope to come again to the area. Such a great place. I would highly recommend it. Also great coffee shop steps away called humble Anchor in the morning. The pictures don’t do the place justice! Highly recommend!

A very nice apartment. Extremely well furnished and very pleasant. The roof terrace allows you to rest in the open air without being disturbed. The spaces are tastefully decorated. I would recommend it without hesitating

We had such an amazing, relaxing stay at this beautiful home. The location could not be better, we watched the sun set every night from the balcony. A beautiful apartment in a quite area of Póvoa withing easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes shops and supermarkets. Noel met us on check in and was on hand to answer any questions, the apartment was equipped with everything you needed for a great stay and a big thankyou for the lovely homemade cake wine and fruit😀

We had a great time here! The space is small but very clean, cute and has everything you need. The balcony was great and we enjoyed several mornings sipping coffee outside. Daniel was very communicative, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. Location was also perfect and in walking distance of the Ribeira!

Great location right beside the main market that is open every day except Sunday. Bright and sunny as it is right on the corner of the building. Highly recommend this property.

I don't think we could have found a better stay in Porto. Carmen welcomed us with a lovely smile, showing us around in her beautiful and well-equiped appartment. She gave us a mal and personalised tips to visit the city. The view over Porto from the balcony is great, and the location is perfect. We loved our stay at Jessica’s place. She was super responsive and friendly, and let us have a flexible check in. The location was lovely and peaceful, and easy to walk to a lot of restaurants. It was also clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend her place!

Much more than a very nice accommodation, Sonia gives all the tips and good addresses to spend a wonderful stay. It contains everything you need, including a washing machine, dishwasher. Great!! Recommended.

Decorated cocooning home tastefully. Jacuzzi, wood, soft lighting... everything was there to spend a wonderful time.

absolutely perfect location in Porto for a first time visitor. we were on the very top floor (unit 6) and barely heard any other guests. very clean apartment with just what we needed for a short stay. thank you for the easy check in instructions! my only feedback for the hosts: we wished the hot tub was available passed 2030 — we sadly did not get to enjoy it due to our short trip. my rec for those looking to book: try a unit on a lower floor if you have large suitcases as it was difficult to lug ours all the way to the top (ended a long trip in morocco here so this was totally our own doing!) otherwise would definitely stay here again. Thank you Porto!

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!
