Alessandro and his partner were very friendly! He helped us with getting started on the surf boards and was always happy to help. The house is located right next to the beach and the ocean and is ideal to start surfing. We were able to use the bbq facilities loads and the veranda is very nice in case the weather is bad!

O espaço interior é pequeno mas o objetivo não era ficar em casa, gostamos do fato de ter varias coisas para as crianças, a zona da piscina é espetacular, tem várias zonas de lazer e o facto de ter items de piscina também foi uma mais valia. Tem um deck muito jeitoso e gostei muito do sofá, otimo para convívio. Para mim valeu a experiência e eu voltaria.

Service impeccable, accueil et départ très apprécié (l'hôte nous attendait à l'extérieur afin de nous accueillir), les accomodations étaient à la hauteur de nos attentes et encore mieux ! À notre arrivée, Silvia avait porté diverses attentions pour que nous soyons à l'aise dès le départ : nous n'avons pas eu besoin d'aller faire les courses car les aliments essentiels étaient préparés pour plus de convivialité. Lorsque nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit, Silvia répondait dans les minutes suivants notre demande : service très apprécié et ce sont des gens fort sympathiques. Je recommande et n'hésite pas à donner 5* à cet hébergement ! Merci encore pour l'accueil

Eine herausragende Perle unter den Unterkünften bei Airbnb! Das Haus ist sehr persönlich und ungeheuer attraktiv, als auch sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Auch wenn man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt, hat man einen großen Respekt vor den Leistungen, welche der Eigentümer und dieses Objekt investiert hat. Es fehlt an nichts! Wir wünschen uns sehr, das der Host weiterhin Gäste hat, welche sehr respektvoll mit dem Haus und der Einrichtung umgehen, so das der hohe Nutzwert und die Schönheit des Objektes für den Host und seine Gäste erhalten bleiben.

I had a restful stay at Aida and Barry’s place. I didn’t have a car and nearest train station is 3km away. Was able to get Uber to visit nearby towns when needed easily. I enjoyed having the very friendly dogs who wanted to walk with me, getting freshly laid eggs at the farm and the best oranges when juiced have the balance of tart and sweet. Aida and Barry were both very friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you!

A pleasent 15 minute drive out of Elvas brings you to the ridge line on which the few dozen houses of the village of Juromenha resides, adjacent to the imposing Fortress Juromenha. You drop down off the ridge towards the river Guadiana to arrive at Casa de Juromenha and its tranquil rural setting nestled between an olive grove and the the fortress. Behind the hedge lies a beautful traditional style building with a country garden, manicured lawn and an aquamarine pool facing the river. The room was beautiful, traditional and the decor has been done with passion and talent. We wanted for nothing and loved our time here, we thoroughly enjoy walking around the Fortress and a meal the local bar Pata Larga. For a country get away it has been outstanding for us. Alandroal, Villa Vicosa and the Marble area are all interesting visits from this idyllic base.

Um espaço acolhedor num recanto privado onde passámos momentos muito felizes em família e com amigos. Fomos 4 adultos e 6 crianças. A zona social da casa (cozinha, sala, páteo, churrasco e piscina) é muito próxima, o que permite momentos em convívio permanente. Fica próximo de lugares junto ao rio fantásticos, onde usufruímos da natureza e de banhos em àguas cristalinas! Numa harmonia do dia a dia, a Sílvia foi sempre uma mais valia, de contacto fácil e resposta imediata. Obrigada por nos ter recebido!!

We loved our stay so much that we didn’t use our car to go anywhere. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, the river and walking to the village. We so enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sound of the river and we wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you Júlio and Patricia for being such thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

Wenn man die ländliche Lage bevorzugt, ist Sandras Apartment perfekt, denn in wenigen Minuten ist man an der Hauptstraße. Der steile Schotterweg war für uns erst ungewohnt. Das Apartment ist schön eingerichtet, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, die Terrasse wunderschön, Sandra und ihre Familie sind sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter!

A woundfull place very close to the sea. Simple but very cozy!

Espaço espectacular no campo, com piscina, relvado, árvores, só se ouvem os passarinhos. A casa muito limpa, funcional, bem decorada, foram umas férias maravilhosas!

A Casa da Flor é um espaço maravilhoso, rodeado por natureza, jardim, tranquilo e com uma vista linda de cortar a respiração sobre o Rio Tâmega, onde se pode relaxar verdadeiramente, bem como caminhar, nadar na piscina ou praticar SUP no rio com toda a segurança. Há imensos recantos confortáveis onde podemos descontrair a contemplar o Rio, a ler, a descansar. O contacto com a Helena foi sempre muito fácil e responsivo. A casa tem o conforto, higiene e tudo o que uma família precisa para estar bem. É um sítio óptimo para se estar com crianças. As visitas do Bruno (um dos cães da casa) fez as delícias dos meus filhos. Recomendo e vou voltar!

We chose this place for a little escape by the end of our busy season and to celebrate a birthday. We wanted a hut, peace and nature. We got it here. The hut served our purposes for the short stay with all the amenities you need, including heating. The views were breathtaking and the location is out of this world. During the day (a week day) one could only hear birds and the nighttime is one of the most peaceful you can get. Of the sky is clear, it's perfect to watch shooting stars. Would be back at anytime for a longer term.

Our stay in one of the huts was the perfect beginning for our trip. Everything was ready for us although we arrived early and we loved the location and the cats roaming the garden. Even before we got there, Duarte had sent us recommendations for what to do and where to eat and we'll continue to use them throughout the rest of our holiday! Thank you very much for having us.😄

Logement incroyable avec une vue imprenable sur le Douro! De plus, possibilité de faire du kayak!! Cet endroit est sublime et très apaisant.

Das Haus ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet und liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Der Ausblick vom Haus auf den Fluss und die Dünen ist einfach wunderschön. Zu beachten gilt, dass das Schlafzimmer keine Aussenstoren hat und man etwas kreativ sein muss, wenn man nicht mit dem Krähen des Hahnes aufstehen möchte ;-) Obwohl wir Telma nicht persönlich getroffen haben, war die Kommunikation mit ihr sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und Check-In, sowie Check-Out funktionierten reibungslos.
