I've been using the air bnb app and staying at Airbnb's for a long time, and I have to say that Peggy and her beautiful inlaw suit apartment were nothing short of amazing!!! 5 stars across the board! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From booking last minute and having a late check in, from arriving on a midnight flight into St. John's. To having car rental issues, the next day with no where to go for a couple of hours, I wasn't having such a great day, but Peggy was very accommodating and understanding of my situation and offed me a late checkout time to help me out. I highly recommend booking with Peggy if you're in the St. John's area and need somewhere to stay that's clean, quiet and cozy with the sweetest host! also, did I mention a great price! I will definitely book a stay at Peggys place again in the future if I am in need of a place to stay in the St. John's area! 🙂

The rooms were perfect for us. It was one of our best vacations yet. The wonderful people, cultural events, amazing vistas, wildlife, icebergs and Canadian history were fascinating. The cozy atmosphere and ease of staying in a basement suite made us feel right at home😍

Pat’s space was awesome for our 3 night stay. Close to downtown (walkable if we wanted- but we didn’t) out of the hub-ub of downtown- nice residential area. Appreciated the loan of lobster cracking tools for our meal of lobster at “home”. Liked that we had dedicated parking spot. Nice to have an in person chat with Pat and Bill. We would definitely recommend this space to others. Clean, spacious and nice and bright and even had an outside space we could use.

Having little time, i'll keep it quick because I am out the door momentarily. This little place was lovely and the bed was indeed comfortable. I'll definitely recommend to family/friends. Thanks for providing your lovely little space to us travelers.

We had a great stay at Kristy’s place! The loft had everything we needed and the hot tub was great!

This place was very clean, comfortable and cute! Our attraction to it was it being big dog friendly and immediately after getting there we were in our glee about how welcoming it was for your furry friend; no trinkets or plants that a curious young pup could damage or get hurt from. He instantly made himself at home on the beautiful dog bed. Place was so comfortable, clean and cute for us as well. You truly felt like you AND your big dog were welcome (not just tolerating your dog). We WILL be going back for any trips to the area. Was lovely to have such easy entrance and speedy responses. A casual check in from our host once arriving was much appreciated. Netflix access was a welcomed surprise. Everything you needed right down to the dog bowls and an area for him to safely do his business!

Fantastic place for a quiet weekend.

This Airbnb is better than described. The home is modern and immaculate. It is well stocked. I can’t think of anything it lacked. It is very comfortable and the views are incredible. We even saw an iceberg from the living room! It was nice to park right at the door. Did not have to drag luggage, food, etc. very far. We would definitely stay here again.

Lucille is a marvelous host. Quidi Vidi Villa was extremely clean, beautifully spacious, and full of delightful details that made our stay formidable. We arrived to a surprise welcome basket and generous provisions that we really enjoyed and were grateful for. Every corner of the home was thoughtfully created with a lot of heart and consideration to artistry and comfort. Lucille truly welcomes you like family, and we are so glad we had an opportunity to experience this incredible hospitality and spend a few days in this beautiful home. It made our time in Newfoundland very special.

An Unforgettable Stay with Stunning Views! Our stay at this home in Flatrock was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views—perched perfectly to overlook the rugged coastline and dramatic cliffs, it felt like something out of a postcard. The home itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and packed with amenities that made it feel like a true getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (and more), and the cozy living area had huge windows that let in natural light and offered panoramic views of the ocean. We loved sipping coffee each morning on the deck while watching the waves crash against the rocks below. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, yet just a short drive trails, Our host was also fantastic—friendly, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat with friends or family, this place is a hidden gem!

A truly cozy house where you can easily feel at home. Fully equiped kitchen, bathroom and living areas, allowing my stay to be perfect at any times. Gordon was very helpful and easy to reach for any doubts as well

I stayed at what I can honestly call the best place in St. John’s, NL—right in The Battery, one of the most charming and historic neighborhoods in the city. The home was incredibly spacious, clean, and cozy. Each room had its own private washroom, which made everything feel extra comfortable and convenient—perfect for families or groups. The wide windows brought in so much natural light and offered beautiful views of the area. It’s peaceful, full of character, and just a short walk from Signal Hill, scenic trails, and downtown. You get plenty of space, privacy, and charm—all in one perfect spot. Truly worth every penny. I’d absolutely stay here again!

What a delightful stay! The view from the property is exceptional. You can see all the comings & goings in and out of the harbor, the people trekking (across the bay) to Signal Hill, whale spouts, & birds galore. There is a lovely path to access the East Coast Trail, as you walk up toward the lighthouse at the end of the way. Worthwhile, with exceptional views from a 20 minute (but fairly challenging) hike. A terrific place to stay and access St. John’s!

It was the third time we’ve been there and each time we had blast! Everything is so clean and beautiful and we felt like our home!

Very beautiful, quiet spot and close to the mall.

We really did not like the black sheets and pillowcases. White looks so much cleaner. I am assuming these were clean but black is a Nono in bedding.

Location is close enough to walk to the west end downtown,(950m to water/harbour st). Parking available to leave you car parked for the week and visit at John’s on foot or taxi. Spacious apartment was comfortable.
