Antonio's place was fabulous. The apartment is well-maintained, comfortable, well-furnished and quite large. The kitchen had every appliance imaginable for a great stay. Antonio was very kind, thoughtful and responsive. He answered any questions immediately and kindly provided us with suggestions for restaurants, bars and street food (you must try the market and sandwich place he suggests... the sandwiches are to die-for!!! The location is great is close to the archeological site where you can see among many things the Greek theatre and getting to Ortigia is a 25 minute walk, but I would suggest you drive there or if going at night, take a taxi/uber back if you don't have a car. If you have a car, it's easy to get to other spots such as Ragusa, Noto, Modica or take a hike to Cava Grande Overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay. Thanks Antonio!

The landlord will come to open the door and introduce the house in detail. You can park anywhere in the unmarked parking area. The main street is just down the stairs from the house. It is very convenient. The house is very big. There are two rooms with bathrooms. The roof is high and it is very cool in summer. There is a large terrace with a good view.

We had the most beautiful time at this beach house and hope to come again one day! You can hear the sound of the ocean all the time, the interior is cosy and everything you need in the kitchen is there. The communication with Francesco was perfect. It‘s a gem.

The area in which the residence is located is downright fantastic. The terrace, the large garden with many trees, shrubs and flowers and the view of the sea is unique, a paradise. A car is a necessity to get to places, do shopping and go out. Our contact with Maria Novella and Federico was very warm. The tips (restaurants and interesting sights) they gave us were worth their weight in gold. Be sure to use the specified coordinates to get to the location without any problems. The accommodation is otherwise not so easy to find. In short, this place is one in a thousand, the landlords still know what the real philosophy of AirBnb can be.

Eleonora's accommodation is extremely well located with a terrace with breathtaking views of the duomo and the other side of Modica. The accommodation is very spacious, with functional equipment. Bedding is good . The street at the foot of the house is a road passing from modica alta and quite noisy with vehicles but the room overlooking the back is quiet. We were lucky enough to come during the St George's festivities. Eléonora kindly lent us her garage during this busy period, but in return the street was often closed to traffic, which was a plus for us. You can walk around Modica easily - a lot of walking but it's one of the charms of the city - supermarket and good restaurant nearby. We'd love to come back to this place

Would definitely stay here again. Marisa was super kind and let us keep our bags at the apartment even after we checked out so we could walk around more. The apartment had a lovely balcony view as well. Great location.

Great accommodation! We were there for a week. We especially liked the fantastic beach in the immediate vicinity. The only downside was that there wasn't really anything for children in the village. The existing playgrounds were very run-down and unusable. But otherwise it was very nice. The host was also friendly and helpful! Clear recommendation!

The one in Casetta Porta Rossa was a fantastic week. Great location, quiet area but at the same time minutes from the center of Noto. In the surroundings there is everything you need: bars to have excellent Sicilian breakfasts, bakeries where you can buy sfincioni, focaccias, etc. for packed lunches, groceries, restaurants, etc. Carla is a responsive host, always kind. We'll be happy to come back!

Out of all the places we stayed in Sicily, Angelo's apartment was our favourite. I chose this apartment because it looked beautiful in the photos. But it's even more beautiful in real life! It's stylish, smells good, is clean and well equipped. There is a beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment is situated in the heart of Modica, which is one of our favourite towns in Sicily. Here you will find excellent restaurants, fantastic Baroque architecture, culture and the perfect location from which to discover other places in the region. Free parking on site was invaluable. Despite the language differences, communicating with Angelo was easy and straightforward. I would be happy to stay here again.

Wow — this place was absolutely incredible! The photos truly don’t do it justice. The views were breathtaking, the location was unbeatable, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The service and accommodations were spot on — very helpful, very friendly, and made us feel right at home. Everything you need is within walking distance, and you’re in the ocean within 60 seconds. We’re already dreaming about coming back, hopefully for a full month next time. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality! Highly recommend.

Sometimes I joke about not wanting to review my favorite places for fear it will make my next booking harder. But this is no joke. Francesca and Carlo have a paradise, and I’ll be working hard to get back soonest. We stayed 10 days, visiting Syracusa and Noto, Etna lava and wineries, and found it increasingly difficult to leave even for a few hours. Evenings shift from the cooing of pigeons to the plaintiff call of owls, with the sounds of waves from her almost private coast. The house is rich in family memories, and gorgeously decorated. The ceilings high and rooms airy.The kitchen a gem to use.

We had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is really great and has a unique view of the Mediterranean. Wenche is a super nice hostess who takes care of everything.

We felt super comfortable in Charlie's holiday home from the beginning. Everything was as described in the ad and nothing was missing. We particularly enjoyed cosy breakfasts and dinners on the two terraces or the first coffee of the day on the roof terrace with a sea view. My favourite place was the hammock - also with a sea view - where you could relax wonderfully. The holiday home is also a perfect starting point for various excursions. For example, we found it super nice in/on "La Spiaggia della Riserva Foce dell 'Irminio", which is only about 10 minutes away by car. The personal contact with Charlie was very nice and informal. He is an attentive, yet totally unobtrusive host who has plenty of tips for restaurants, excursions, etc. And we also got fresh eggs from the chickens. We would book the holiday home again at any time! Thank you, Charlie, for letting us be your guests :-)

Very nice clean and charming accommodation in a quiet area of Modica. Beautiful view of the city from the balcony. The walk is quite sporty to climb from the lower town, but for us who are in good physical shape it was an advantage and it helped the digestion of the cannoli 🙂

Staying at this location is an oasis of greenery, flowers, fruit trees, trees in the middle of cozy seats where you can enjoy with friends or family. A lovely swimming pool. Rooms are nice. If you are sensitive to dogs barking at night, bring earplugs.

We loved the apartment and Ortigia very much In a great spot , very much in the heart of village life , the window doors were amazing blocking out sound. Communication and support with host was excellent Virginia and Michael

Giuseppe is a wonderful host - very helpful, kind and considerate. We felt at home with him. The property is wonderful! Very close to the sea, with a wonderful bay and almost no tourists. If you want to relax from the hustle and bustle, Giuseppe's house is perfect! You will find everything you need for your vacation: a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with a comfortable bed and a private garden with sun loungers, table and chairs, barbecue area and outdoor shower. It is a great starting point for exploring Catania, Taormina or Syracuse. In the area there are many grocery stores, a pharmacy and a hospital, but to enjoy all the services you will need a car, which you can rent at the airport or in Augusta. Giuseppe, thank you once again for helping us have a wonderful time and for your help at every stage! It was a wonderful vacation! Justyna & Arek :)

Great place, was very cozy and just the trick for a short trip where you can take a 20 minute walk to the city center. The outdoor patio was also great.

Alberto's house is more welcoming in person than in the photos, it is bright and quiet and equipped with every comfort that can be used during the stay. The appliances work perfectly and the host takes care to provide basic necessities (coffee, oil, water, etc.), for which we thank him. The location allows you to reach both the Greek Theatre and Ortigia with a short walk, so once you park, you can forget about the car. Alberto is also a very nice and helpful person, he welcomed us in person and dedicated his time to the information we needed. I would definitely book her house again and recommend it.

Marco was a fantastic host. He confidently guided us through the rather tricky entrance with all the help (the apartment is located in a very winding, by the way not barrier-free complex, which in turn is in a kind of "gadet community" with many other holiday resorts and holiday homes, which can only be passed through a barrier and gates. We were incredibly lucky and were almost the only guests in the complex. So we had the great and very clean pool almost to ourselves. In general, everything was very quiet and peaceful and we were almost alone. The view from Marcos' terrace is a dream. Absolutely fantastic view of the sea and Mount Etna. Depending on the time of day, some sun, some shade. Simply outstanding. The complex/apartment from the 60s has a great charm, albeit a bit outdated;) Unfortunately, we searched in vain for access to the sea. Many paths were blocked or overgrown. Thank you, Marco!🫶

Great place, within walking distance beach, restaurants, transport. Hosts lovely people , very thoughful and caring, went out of way to help. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment is very spacious, with three bedrooms, a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The absolute highlight is the spacious outdoor terrace with another kitchen, barbecue, outdoor shower and even a separate toilet. In addition, there is a second terrace at the entrance area, perfect to enjoy the sunset – which was particularly pleasant this time of year as it was not too hot. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stefania welcomed us very warmly, was always available and always friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and welcome at her place. We have taken many excursions and love to take long walks by the sea – we can especially recommend Donnalucata. Also the cities of Syracuse, Modica and Ragusa Ibla impressed us with their beauty and atmosphere. We sincerely thank Stefania♥️!

I have a very good time. It took a bit of efforts to pack our stuff in a backpack and walked a bit up hill to reach the place, but overall experience was impressive with the convenience, atmosphere, and cleanliness. Highly recommended!
