Among all the Airbnbs I have stayed at, this was by far the best. The hosts, Cris and her husband, were the most thoughtful and considerate people I have ever met through airbnb. They prepared everything for us with such care and kindness. Staying in a traditional Porto house was a special experience, and we ended up visiting almost every restaurant Cris recommended—they were all amazing and truly unforgettable. I’m so sad to be leaving… Thanks to them we had a wonderful trip

Clara was an excellent hostess who greeted us with fig cake and port wine. She offered bottles of wine (nominal charge because good wine is inexpensive in Porto, Portugal) available for purchase. She offered a tour of the accommodations, providing instructions where necessary, but kept it to a minimum. We booked an airbnb experience Douro Valley tour through Clara .... it was wonderful and highly recommended. Keep-in-mind, of the three airbnb's we stayed-in through-out Portugal only one had dryer. Washing machine at Clara's was downstairs, outside but in a shed area, and she had a line drying feature. The ensuite is a bit tight, but nothing that can not be lived with with for a brief stay and all the decor is charming.

Die Wohnung war klasse! Sie liegt in der Nähe des Meeres, und kleinere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Für größere Einkäufe im Dorf ist es am besten, ein Auto oder Uber zu nutzen. Um nach Porto zu gelangen, braucht man etwa eine Stunde zu Fuß oder eine Busverbindung. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war top, ich kann mich nicht beklagen.

This is a great location and an adorable apartment! João and Rita were very responsive and kind, leaving me local recommendations and a bottle of wine. I loved walking up to matosinhos to surf, walking around foz do duoro and shopping, then getting dinner on the beach. It was so quaint, quiet and special - I would definitely come back.

Ik verbleef twee dagen in de woning in de tuin tijdens mijn Camino van Lissabon naar Santiago en dat was heerlijk ontspannend, een comfortabel huis met een eigen tuin in een leuke wijk. Het huis is ruim genoeg voor twee personen en is volledig ingericht met een zit/eetkamer, keuken, badkamer en slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed. Airco is aanwezig. De tuin is groot genoeg voor schaduw en zon. Het centrum van Porto ligt op ongeveer 20 minuten lopen van het centrum en ligt in een gezellige niet erg toeristische wijk, met restaurants, cafés en winkels. Ook OV is beschikbaar met metro en bussen. De hosts waren erg behulpzaam en reageerden meestal direct met goede tips. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was prima. Kortom, als je een leuke Airbnb zoekt nabij het centrum kan ik het huis van Carlos & Clarinda van harte aanbevelen.

Amazing spot! You won’t want to leave the balcony, the pics don’t do it just. The view is just phenomenal you can spend hours out on the balcony and on top of that there is always someone playing a guitar and it echoes lovely through the area. Centrally located and just a neat area to enjoy. The host were amazing, asked them about a need I had and they responded immediately. Will come back again!

I had a fantastic stay at Marcia’s lovely apartment. I found her to be highly responsive to my communications and questions. The place was very clean, bed was especially comfortable, and shower/bath great. What really made my stay there, though, was the outstanding view from the apartment and proximity to all the sights. I also felt very safe in that area as a solo traveler. Muito obrigada, Marcia! I look forward to staying at your place again in the future!

Absolutely beautiful stay. Such an elegant loft with a beautiful view. Walking distance to all amenities but tucked away from overly busy spots. Wonderful stay.

Sofia's apartment was great for our stay in Porto. it is located on a great walking street with tons of shops and restaurants. Eventhough it is located in a popular area, the windows are upgraded and kept the apartment quiet. Check-in was easy and communication was helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay there again the next time I am in Porto.

Staying in Gaia on our visit to Porto was the right call for us. Beautiful sunset views, in my opinion better than the park or the bridge - right from the bedroom balcony - 9th floor. Just a few minute walk to Dom Luis bridge, 10-20 minutes down to the port warehouses and docks. Easy/lovely cross to Porto waterfront. Very comfortable - this place worked great and Sonia is very helpful and communicative.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mimi’s place. It was really beautiful and had everything we needed. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere and at the end of the day have somewhere quiet to relax. Mimi was really quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend Mimi’s place and hope to come back someday.

Schickes und sehr sauberes Appartment über den Dächern von Porto. Toller kleiner Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Tisch um gemütlich zu Frühstücken oder abends noch ein Glas Wein zu trinken.

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

If we could have we would put 6 stars! Porto is very beautiful and we come back to the same apartment in the future !

The apartment is a delight from the moment you walk in. It is beautifully decorated and feels like a home. Great bathroom with amazing rain shower and hot water. Bedroom and kitchen and living areas are all well presented and equipped with all you need and with lots of additional touches. Very quiet for sleeping, and great air conditioning in bedroom and living area. Great location to explore Porto, and don’t even have to walk very far at all, including a great cafe next door, to find lovely eating places. Pedro was a wonderful host in every way.

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Bardzo mile mieszkanie dla 2 osób, z wszelkimi udogodnieniami - ręczniki, szampon, mydlo, ekspres do kawy, pralka, żelazko. Bardzo mily i pomocny gospodarz, pokazal nam na mapie Porto miejsa warte zwiedzenia, na bieząco odpowiadał na wszystkie pytania - bardzo dobry kontakt. Mieszkanie polożone 500 m od plaży., w bardzo dobrym punkcie komunikacyjnym ( metro, autobusy ) Bardzo polecam .

Pro‘s: -Der Blick ist phänomenal!! -Die Lage ist praktisch und zentral (Bus- und Metrohaltestellen in der Nähe) -Großes Schlafzimmer (ebenfalls schöner Blick!) -Genug Platz -in der Küche soweit alles da was man braucht (ein zweiter Topf wäre schön) -Alles war sauber -Es gibt einen Aufzug (Wohnung ist in der 7. Etage) Cons: -Die Lüftung im Bad geht automatisch an am Nachmittag und schaltet sich erst am nächsten Morgen wieder ab. Sie ist sehr laut und wirkt dreckig, außerdem verströmt sie einen unangenehmen Geruch wenn sie läuft. Man sollte die Badtür immer zum Lüften offen haben. -Keine Spülmaschine -Große und laute Baustelle um die Ecke Insgesamt hatte ich einen tollen Aufenthalt und habe mich wohl gefühlt!

The apartment is very beautiful and in a great central area. We went everywhere by foot. The communication with Daniel was perfect, he is very nice and responded quickly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Porto. Dazu beigetragen hat natürlich auch die hübsche Unterkunft. So wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen hat uns die Unterkunft empfangen. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzig der schöne Innenhof mit Garten war wohl noch etwas im Winterschlaf.
