Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Portland Downtown

Exactly what we needed. This spot is in a very quiet, beautiful neighborhood. 10/10

The Henriette House is such a great place to stay while visiting Portland. The location is perfect for walking to local shops and eateries. They have done a great job of preserving this beautiful craftsman home. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen and baths were sparkling clean. Candice was a perfect host and check-in could not have been easier. Street parking was really easy and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend staying at the Henriette House!

What a great comfortable house and location in Portland. Quiet neighborhood, centrally located and the attention to detail and comfort was so nice to experience . Matthew was a kind & punctual host and we truly enjoyed the uniqueness of the property. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful home and beautiful host!! Our family stayed here five days and loved it! The art is wonderful and all around you. I loved the warm and bright colors throughout the house. Large kitchen. My favorite was the outside area. It's so peaceful. I enjoyed my coffee and book in the mornings and we did fire and wine in the evenings. Eugenia is warm and fun!! She is very accomodating and helped us out with a few things we needed throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place if staying in Portland! ~Becky

With 20+ Airbnb's under my belt, I can safely say: this is in my top three all time best. There wasn't a spec of dirt, chip of paint, or single pet hair—this place is SO lovingly and masterfully kept up. There were three stunning, meticulously landscaped outdoor areas to enjoy—the front porch, the side dining table, and a back deck—and every other need had been anticipated and provided for, without clutter. I personally find a plain innerspring bed the most comfortable, and slept better here than I do at my own home! Neighborhood had a little construction/lawn care noise but was otherwise blissfully quiet. It was so relaxing to be here...I am ill and spend most of my time traveling at "home", and this was a perfect home to relax and enjoy. You could also really "move in" if you were here for an extended stay—lots of open dresser drawers and closet space with hangers. It's not often I think a place is clean enough for a bath, but wouldn't hesitate to enjoy the tub here! Will be back.

Linda's place is not a house for rent but a home that is shared. We loved the local environment, the beautiful yard, plants and trees. Every morning we had coffee on the porch while we planned what to do locally. Highly recommend for anybody looking to be close to anything you might want to do but still be in a peaceful, walkable area. This residence is a classic, historical home, but has all the needed amenities of a modern one. Thank you for sharing with us, Bill and Michelle

This was the best AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in! Amanda and Michael are literally the sweetest and think of every little thing to make your stay comfortable and special! We felt right at home! The neighborhood is adorable and so walkable to great food nearby. Super close to the MAX (local public transportation), so there was times we didn’t even need our car. We LOVED it here! Staying here made us fall in love with Portland all over again. We cannot wait to revisit RCH🌹

I booked this Airbnb during the end of my trip and I have 0 regrets. It’s beautiful and quiet and not too far away from the city. The hot tub and fire place was exactly what we needed after a long week hiking and exploring. Can’t wait to rebook when I’m back!

Ed and Kym were wonderful hosts. We even had the opportunity to chat with both of them in passing during our stay and they’re great people. Their place was the perfect retreat for a pair of weary traveled parents with an infant. Not only was it an amazing location for seeing some of the best of parts Portland but a perfect place for our little one to rest and play in the evening.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place and perfect for one or two people. The shower was spacious with two showerheads, the bed was comfortable, and outside area was exactly what I needed. I kept the bedroom windows open because I like to be cool, and there was very little noise, except an occasional serenade by a nearby frog. Easy to get to from the freeway, though my GPS had me on the next street over, but it was easy to figure out where I needed to be with Rebecca’s directions before I got there.

Had an amazing stay. Cant recommend this place enough. Hands down the the best place I’ve stayed!

My 2nd time staying. It’s a sweet little home base for when I visit Portland for trainings. Safe neighborhood with some good hiking real close!

Amazing Airbnb! The location is great- being close to the city yet having a bit more quiet. The owners are truly the best. They continually went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their communication was consistently impressive, from my initial inquiry prior to booking all the tickets at through checkout. I was traveling with twin newborns & they were so helpful in setting my trip up for success. The Airbnb itself is thoughtfully arranged & more than you could ask for. Their back yard is AMAZING! Great open green space, camp fire area, dining & a great play set. We plan to be back soon! (: 10/10 would highly recommend!

This was a great location within easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bowling, movie theater, nail salons, etc. It had all I needed to make tacos and pop popcorn. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! I will stay here again. Keith was a fabulous host!!

The Quiet Place was great, it was centrally located to what we needed to do. Dee Dee was very responsive to messages, I would definitely stay again. Also, being in a basement, there was not much noise from up top, nothing out of the ordinary foot steps. Great place!

We absolutely loved the cabin so cute.. the fire place was a nice touch. Our favorite was sitting out by the creek with our morning coffee just watching all the wildlife. It’s so peaceful and the neighborhood was beautiful. We will definitely be back..

I definitely recommend this place! The location is beautiful and so private! I woke up every morning listening to the birds singing and watching the horses in the distance. The place was so spacious and super cozy! Everything was well organized and cleaned! The beds were also super comfy which is a HUGE plus on our end. I would like to return to this place next year as we fell in love with it!

This was the second Airbnb during our vacation and it has set the standard for all future bookings. The instructions were clear, the place was amazing and had all the comforts of home plus some! The location was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sights and sounds of Oregon. We had a large group and the house was spacious enough to not feel cramped. We cooked, played corn hole, grilled and did s’mores. The hot tub was enjoyed by all (in turns). Would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.

I would highly recommend this charming cottage on the river! We stayed here the week of Christmas and the hosts kindly left us an array of holiday chocolates and a variety of beverages to get us started on our stay. The house was stocked with all the necessities and the view was so serene! You feel like you're in a secluded hideaway, yet in reality you are only minutes from downtown Milwaukie and a short drive to downtown Portland. It was very conveniently located for us visiting our two sons in Milwaukie, and there was plenty of room for them to visit us and have Christmas dinner at the cottage on the river. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

Such a wonderful place to stay, really beautiful. It was so nice to listen to the birds in the mornings and evenings, the trails were really fun to meander through. Gorgeous location and Story House was a lovely place to settle into and unwind.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin! It comfortably fit our whole family and was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were warm and comfy, and the beautiful surroundings made it even more relaxing. Echo, was a great communicator and made everything easy from start to finish!

Impressive log cabin with beautiful private yard and lovely wooded trails. House is very spacious and comfortable, plenty of beds but only one enclosed bedroom. Fun space for a group. Ethan was very flexible and good at communicating promptly. Loved the hot tub, stone fireplace is gorgeous though we didn’t put to use. The is a very special place

Hands down this has been our favorite place to stay and already looking forward to a future trip. It’s as beautiful and serene as the description, it was a perfect pause to spend two nights here on our Pacific Northwest roadtrip. It was spotless, clean, private, enjoyed all the amenities - kiddos especially loved the nearby trails and having enough space to spread out. The sauna, soaking tub, outdoor showers were the highlight for us, and the record player and music selection was a treat. Thank you for sharing this special home it truly was an amazing getaway.
